I bought this last Nov (2009) and it works great for online play. I play alot of MW2 and Halo. I havent used it for streaming videos, but i can play the music stored on my laptop directly to the 360. If you dont wanna spend the cash for the wireless N, this one will work just as fine.

When I bought this product I put it on a new never used credit card from Amazon . Within a few hours it was explained in an e mail that the order did not go through and was canceled . I called Amazon Credit and explained the problem and I was informed that the sale was not registered on my account. At that point I was told that the sale would not occur. I did not get upset . I have a paypal account with ebay and found the adapter ( new ) for less money , purchased it and received it rather quickly . And about 3 - 4 days later the adapter from amazon arrived , so I would not have to go through amazon and explain this to them again I kept the adapter and now have ( 2 ) . One for a back-up . Note: both my grandsons love the game and although it is starting to get expensive it is worth every penny . than you , glenn.

ps; did e mail the seller when they had requested a review and they were kind enough to say they would take it back. Guess I was upset and stubborn I did not send it back . If only I wasn't a man life you be so much easier.

Here's the deal: the xbox wireless adaptor is great performing wireless adaptor that simply works. The only con is the price is incredibly overpriced. The big issue is it is a "necessary" accessory for the 360 as the PS3 and Wii already include wi-fi so I don't see why Microsoft needs to gouge consumers on this item.

I would rate this to be a great 5 star product at $65 pricepoint. I would deduct -2 stars simply for being too greedy.

My dlink gamer lounge router is on the main floor in my office. My xbox 360 is upstairs in my bedroom. My sons xbox 360 is in his bedroom in the basement. And occasionally when friends or family are over I'll set up my xbox in the theatre room to play it on the big screen. My son and I have hosted separate games at the same time without any players in the game experiencing lag or latency.

With all the obstructions in the way and the hosting games on xbox live neither my son or I have noticed a difference from going from hard-wire to wireless.

Other than it being on the pricey side its money well spent.

Once you have your wireless network up, this item will connect you to xbox live with no problems! Who wants to sit around for hours trying to configure a game adapter? Not me. I think it worth the price because it does the hard work for you. For real though, this is a great item because you no longer have to unplug it from an outlet. It is powered by the Xbox 360 rear usb port. So, really..you get what you pay for. I am pleased with this product. Thanks

I had my reservations about the product judging from other reviews.It has now been a couple months and it still works great. Its great to get xbox live without a cable. Now the only thing they need to work on is its price!

The reason I bought the adapter is because my girlfriend and I bought an xbox 360 and to play xbox live you need the adapter. It is a great product and works great. If you are an xbox live person and need an adapter, I advise buying it online if you can find it for a cheaper price. Because this product at amazon.com was less expensive than at walmart. Hope that helps somewhat!

This adapter is great, only flaw is range ... oh, and of course lack of N COMPATIBILITY... but they have a new wireless N adapter, which i considered buying... but i have a G/B linksys wireless router , so unless you plan on upgrading to a wireless N router, i recommend you stick with the original white , one antena wireless adapter ... works great, easy to install...

Love the adapter, it works just as stated, and if you were like me who couldn't connect to xbox live with an ethernet cable, this is the product for you! I have yet to have any problems with it. Well worth the money and easy to use, and set up, once you plug it in, you pretty much don't need to do anything once plugged in. I love it and it works great!
