The D-pad is horrible every time I use it. The up and down works fine but the sides are so sticky they rarely ever work. I have to go back and forth from the joystick to the d-pad all the time. Most ppl probably just use the joystick, but the d-pad use to be precision on the xbox. They did everything right in this remote other than making the d-pad cheaper and harder to use.

What can I say? You get a great feeling controller and on top of that it's wireless! There is nothing more enoying then being restricted by the length of a wire attaching your controller to the console. And then when you are connected, watch your family trip over the wire and disconnect you right when you are completing that tough level. None of that with this awesome Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless controller. Batteries seem to last forever and the initial setup was a breeze.

I love this controller. The wireless system works great, and you never have to worry about unplugging the controller again! This is a huge improvement to me over the old controllers. I highly reccomend this product.

Great controller for almost all game types, especially shooters. I knock one star off because the d-pad is not very accurate, thus this controller is not good for fighting and classic arcade games. Other than that, it's very comfortable and has a nice feel to it even after extended gaming sessions.

I purchased this xbox360 wireless controller to use with my pc and i must say its the best. I play DIRT, LOSTPLANET,etc and everything is just great no problems. its the best deal around. You can close your eyes and buy this controller.

One of the best controller. I used to like the Logitech wireless for my old xbox but when I tried this wireless for my new X360, this is a must have. You can turn your 360 on and off remotely, how cool is that. Nice weight and feel in your hands, very accurate and very little to none lag time. Now that the Black edition will be coming out, I'm going to buy a set of those also. Don't wait.

This is a sick game controller for the 360, in addition to a different layout of buttons, it now has more colors to choose! This is a 30 ft range wireless controller and there are 14 buttons in all, 2 toggle sticks, 2 bumpers, 2 triggers, 4 colorful buttons and the xbox guide button and start and back buttons. The controller fits very comfortable in your hands and can be connected to a microphone. The controller also has two vibration motors, which makes very realistic vibrations. For example, when driving and you hit a wall, it vibrates just like the real world. The xbox guide button is located in the middle of the controller and lights up green leds to indicate what player you are. The xbox guide button can be pressed during gameplay, so you can chat with someone while your game is loading. The d-pad is very odd, it looks like a entire button, but it's 8 way directional, so i won't be so blunt about this. The controller is very durable, unless you throw it on the ground. I've had the right trigger break, because of my clumsiness. These controllers are fairly priced on amazon.com, 20$ used, so it's a very good deal. The bad part is that the controller is not rechargable, unless you buy a rechargable kit to plug in the front of the controller and plug into the console to save batteries.

The controller is just that, a controller. But this controller is so much more than a regular controller.
It's sleek design definitely is a plus but that wouldn't make it much better than a wired counterpart. No, the reason why this one is great is the fact that it is reliable, long lasting, power saving, and powerful.
Reliable:
I have never lost connection while using my controller save the one time when I didn't realize the power was running out (but that's human error). I was playing Lost Odyssey, for example, wanted to grind some to bring my characters to a decent level so I went into my kitchen, moving my controller about while cooking dinner. Even through my walls the signal stayed strong.
Long-lasting:
I use a rechargeable back but still the lifetime for the battery is insanely long. I remember when I first bought my system I was surprised because despite the fact I locked myself up in my room for a weekend my battery life only dropped to zero once.
Power Saving:
The most interesting thing about these little guys is that they turn themselves off if they are unused for a long period of time. Playing a game, realize you're running late and rush out? You don't have to worry about the battery draining because it will auto shut off.
Powerful:
You can definitely feel the rumble in the controller when it's activated. It's an all around great accessory and I have to give credit to Microsoft for building such a reliable controller.
