We had been anticipating BRB for months, and it did not disappoint. We didn't have earlier versions of Rock Band, although I had played it at a friend's house. The parts on the Beatles' edition seem to be easier than the others, so it's a great first game to buy. Of course there are songs that you will want on the game that aren't on the game, but there are plenty of games for hours and hours of fun. Plus, you can't overestimate the value of getting the entire family together for a game.

this game is incredible. we have friends over all of the time to play beatles rock band!! the only downside is that they don't have very many songs avaialable for download currently. But, other than that, it's awesome and I would recommend getting it asap!

Because of this game, I fell in love with The Beatles all over again, and even have gotten my 14 year old to get into them. It has made me really pay attention to the songs like I never did before and realized that they are more complex than I ever realized. I knew going in the game would not be made up of all a bunch of shredding guitar songs like Rock Band and Guitar Hero's are supposed to be. But this game is fun to play and a great history listen of how Rock and Roll took over the world and influenced all of us since. The game is how Aerosmith Guitar Hero should have been.

I can only think of a few more bands they could do this with, that had so many different looks and historical periods. Kiss, The Stones, The Who, maybe Zepplin. But if games are done with them or the upcoming Van Halen Guitar Hero, they will all have to live up to the standard of The Beatles Game, just like their music.

What can I say. Beatles on my Xbox. This is pure fun! Beware, however - most of the songs that come with the original game are not extremely hard to play, so if you are in it for the challenge, you might get bored quickly. I easily solved this by downloading some additional songs over the web, which were much more difficult (and also by The Beatles - did I mention I love them already?), but these new songs cost money as well. And the graphics are absolutely stunning! I actually bought this game used, but had to share the lovin' :-)

I have been a Beatles fan ever since I was young and the Vol 1-3 anthologies were coming out. I also have loved the Rock Band and Guitar Hero products over the years.

This game is a great meld of the two. The graphics/visuals are great and of course the audio/music is classic Beatles. Alot of their great songs and some of their lesser known (but still great) works are on this game.

The harmony part of singing really makes this game stand out. You can have a few different people singing and playing instruments (which can be challenging but also very fun). The Beatles specific instruments are very nice as well.

Overall I love this game as a Beatles fan and as a Rock Band fan.

The Game and instruments are great the run real nice at everything works as it should. The Graphics are amazing. The Dreamscapes really help you get behind the true meaning of the music. Recommended for all Beatles fans old or young. Its easy to play the charts are not as hard as the normal rock band one's are. I know it has a small song selection but it will grow with more DLC.

The bass that came with was very tight the first few hours, similar to a brand new baseball glove. The drums feel off like some crossfire is going on, and it takes a tremendous amount of force to engage the bass pedal. But all in all i love this game.

Fun for the entire family. More importantly was the FAST shipping from Amazon. I placed on-line order around 1PM and shipping was estimated to be about a week. I received order next day around 10:30AM! That was under 24hrs and I find that pretty impressive.

This game was announced in March of earlier this year, I Remember getting a gamestop Email and thinking FINALLY! and being so excited. and then patiently waiting for September to come.

I Enjoy this game so much. The songs mean a lot to me, my dad would always play "Birthday" on my Birthday every year, and still does. (I'm 27 now). Playing that song was just amazing, The graphics are intense and its even harder than Rock band 2 in my opinion.

The price was a let down. I didn't like how you were paying 150 for Paul's bass pretty much. And then another 100 if you wanted the Lennon and Harrison guitars. I think that they should have gone easy on us in a time like this.

I love how the Drums work w/ all of my rock band games, and guitar hero. They are finally wireless, and look great. I haven't gotten use to the white drum heads yet, but oh well.

one last thought on this: Why do they call it a Limited Edition if its been a month and it's still around? Usually limited/Collectors are only brought out for Pre-order and then gone after the game comes out. The whole reason I picked this up was because I didn't think It'd be around forever. but it seems like everyone has it in stock.

Oh well. Awesome game =) And I Can't wait for Future DLC to come along. Gratz to Harmonix and Paul Mcartney for making an awesome game.

"Rock Band" has exploded!

If you look around, you can find so many different versions of this out for purchase. Since I haven't owned a Rockband set, this was the first version I bought. I opted for the limited edition set. I found that this version has the flair of the beatles band. Since I'm a beatles buff, I had to get it. Since I own the rest of the beatles guitars, I just wanted it all to match. You can use your previous wireless guitars, but it would look weird.

Sure, it was pricey, but if you don't have this version, get it!

My wife and I enjoy the original Rock Band, but The Beatles: Rock Band takes that to new highs. I've been a Beatles fan since the 60's, and now we can play along with these classic pieces. The downloadable content (Abbey Road Medley!) takes the game to new heights of fun. Highly recommended for any and all Rock Band players.

When I first heard about a Beatles video game being released 09.09.09 I giggled like a 4 year old... I couldn't wait to put my hands on it and play it until my fingers bled out...

Yes, I am a Beatles fanboy. Can't help it. I had not been introduced to the Rock Band experience, but I figured I would learn it in due course. That been said:

PROS:

- Excellent gameplay, fast paced and challenging (For me and my close relatives, anyways)

- Awesome graphics (The fab 4 look like a gorillaz clip sometimes, thou)

- The bundled instruments are better than the other Rock Band bundles

- The music... oh, the music...

CONS:

- The price. When you purchase a game that has been recently introduced, you expect to pay a premium, but still...

- I have not been able to fully sync the instruments, so I find myself failing notes even when I hit them right (That might be my problem, but no solution has worked so the remark stays)

- mmm, the music... the included songs are great but for the price I expected more than 40; even if they make them DLC, I will keep my words. I don't like the Xbox live online experience, so I am not willing to get them that way.

All this cons, but only one star removed from the rating. I am just thankful they made this game and hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

the beatles rock band is an awsome game! You can use the gitar, (or bass) the drums, and it comes with a mic. You can use up to three mics and have harmony with other people. The campaign takes you through the varius concerts wile getting prizes along the way. you can go strait to the campaign or you can do freeplay with all the songs. some of the songs are not there so you can by them online. the campaign is long enough so it would be hard to finish it in a day. overall, the game is great so get it if you dont mind singing for a while!! :)
