It's a controller, it's wired, it doesn't eat batteries like those of the not-wired variety, it works. Nothing I can complain about. I plug it into my Xp and my Vista computer and it works fine, too. As I said, nothing I can complain about. Great price considering retail stores want $60 for them.

If you're looking for a PC gamepad, save the ~$5 and buy this rather than the "XBox 360 controller for PC". This works fine, connection is plain old USB and it installs in about 2 seconds in Vista. The back of the box even states "Works With Windows Vista", so clearly this and the "PC" controllers are the same. Presumably Microsoft is trying to score some extra profit from people that think you need a dedicated PC controller.

Plug it in and Vista x64 recognizes the device. Download the optional Vista x64 drivers from Microsoft. Best ergonomic controller for Windows - works with all emulators, windows games.

I find it not so good with fighting games such as street fighter like fighting games. The directional pad (hat switch) is not as good as the Playstations directional pad. Hard to perform hadokens, shoryukens, etc.

But for any other game, it's near flawless. Works with the 360 by plugging it in the usb port on the 360. Used it for about a year now and still working flawlessly even after much button mashing.

My favorite game: GTR2 does not support rumbling with this controller. If you use 3rd party XB controller drivers, GTR2 will support rumbling...however with this controller, everything else works except rumbling.

This item is great, works great and I do not even use it on a xbox. I use this for games on my computer, that is why I got this wired on and this works great. The driver for it is from microsoft so it works perfectly with my computer. Also it works even with games that are not make to work this this controller, I even use it as a mouse sometimes with this program, Xpadder. Awesome for this item, you can program the controller to act as different button on your computer, such as the letter "J" or a left mouse click. Its great, I play N64 with this on my computer, Elder Scrolls, American McGee's Alice, and a couple more games all work great with this, I highly recommend this product, I got absolutely no complaints about it or anything negative to say about this item.

I'm using windows vista pro 64 bit and this works perfectly. This controller didn't come with a disc but it was relatively easy to find the drivers using my google-fu. Highly recommended over other game controllers. All the recent "Games for Windows" titles support this controller without any key mapping.

You just plug it in and go. i really like how i can use this controller on my computer as well. i have a wireless controller as well that came with my 360 but i got tired of buying batteries over and over again. i couldve bought the charger that works with wireless controllers and saved 10 bucks but you will still need to buy batteries for it eventually and plus i wanted a second controller any ways.

I bought this for my PC - as they are USB controllers and plug right into any PC. Official drivers are available and now I can play most games with a familiar and modern joypad.

I purchased this to try out on Batman: Arkum Asylum. It works great and adds the rumble feature to the game. This makes for a great experience in this particular game. You get PC graphics and physx effects and the controller with rumble for a game that seems designed for a controller rather than a keyboard and mouse.

I bought this one to play GTA IV in my pc, it works great after I download the drivers from microsoft web site. Don't give a 5 because the directional button is a kind of "sticky" moving to the right.

This is the best gamepad to use with a PC in my opinion. It's plug and play, comfortable to hold and many games are programmed to work with it out of the box. It's analog sticks are good enough to use for flight sim type games, and the triggers have enough range of motion to make great gas and brake inputs for racing games. It is also great for platformers and fighting games, which never really feel right played with a keyboard/mouse.

Works perfectly. I bought this to use for a 360 that had problems synchronizing with Wireless Controllers, and there have been no problems with it.
