I purchased this item not long ago even though I have had my xbox for quite some time. I never felt that I needed this until I got hooked on Call of Duty on-line (really addicting!). I started burning through the batteries and was a bit reluctant since I have a charger for the wii. This one is flawless in my opinion. You don't have to set the controller a specific way in the cradle like you do with the wii (rather meticulous in my opinion). I just drop the controller in and the light indicates red for needing a charge or green for good to go. I don't worry about the remotes "teetering off" the cradle like I do with the oddly shaped wii. I highly recommend this if you want to save money in batteries over time and it's also nice to not search for the darn remotes when the kids or I don't have a designated spot for them.

This charger is fantastic! It's simple, easy and looks attractive. Now onto to the logistics. It comes with its own rechargeable batteries, which makes the controllers just a little bit heavier; but nonetheless a money saver. The lights on the front of the charger indicates two things: 1) its being charged and 2) the charge is complete. The playing time over a period of hours and days does equate to longer playing time in-between each charge. I would definitely recommend this particular charger.

Easy to use, no set-up. Intial charge takes about 4-5 hours, but then you never have to worry about dead batteries in the middle of a game again (as long as you store your controller on the charging station.) Ohh, and batteries are included. The charging station fits perfect on top of the 360, and even leaves enough room for a second one, if you use 4 controllers.

I bought these things because I was sick of changing the batteries in my controllers; and I was skeptical to say the least, but these things have been great! I can play for days on these things and then a week later, throw them on the charger so they are ready when I get home from work. The best part is that the kit came with the charging base and two batteries. When they are on the charger they let you know when they are done charging. Charging is quick too. The good: A very well built unit. Comes with it's own batteries and charges within 2-3 hours. Very handy when you don't want to use the charge cord.

The bad: It would of been nice if this charging unit was built to charge the Xbox 360 battery but it wasn't. never-the-less this is a good product.

Got this product when it was released. One of the best purchases for my setup I have ever made. The batteries last much longer than the standard Microsoft rechargable batteries and take less time in my opinion. The controller just drops right into the base and charge takes maybe 30 min. at the max. First of all to get the pro's out of the way the product itself is great no problems so far and it works fine. Now for the con's shipping was awful. I signed up for the one day shipping on amazon prime and ordered it on a Sunday. Yea I know I know Business days blah blah blah but 1 business day from ordering on Sunday doesn't mean I should get it on Friday (when I finally received my order)And when I did receive my order the delivery guy had thrown it two stories onto my balcony. Wonderful right? But bottom line is the product is great but watch how you ship it.

I just purchased this charging station from Best Buy on an impulse and I am glad I did. First of all, its BLACK - glad someone finally made something for us XBOX ELITE owners! No more messy USB charging wires coming from the XBOX... no more leaving the XBOX running while the controllers are charging! This unit plugs directly into your wall power outlet! Says made in China - but it appears very well made. The chargebase even has rubber pads on the bottom to prevent it from sliding all over your entertainment center. The NYKO batteries fit and worked perfectly right out of the box. Placing the controllers on the base after gaming is a breeze. When you place your controllers on the base the LED light turns RED - indicating it is charging your controller. When the charger is done it turns green and then turns off. Thanks NYKO for making such a great product at an affordable price!

I got this charging station from Best Buy and absolutely love it! It charges my remotes really quickly and stops charging when the batteries are full so they don't get overcharged and ruined. The battery life is fantastic and I've never been able to completely drain one of the remotes during a gaming session. The color also matches my Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB Console System perfectly! The only complaint I have is about the rubber feet on the bottom of the charging base. They're nice to have (so the unit doesn't slide around) but the rubber Nyko used for them smells weird... This may sound odd but the spot on my desk where this base has been sitting now has a strange rubber smell to it. I'm not sure if this issue affects all of these units but I may give Nyko a call about it.

I bought xBox 360 Chargebase Black for my boyfriend to match his xBox limited edition MW2 xBox console. And I have to tell you, we've been playing games days in days out and this chargebase really saved us a lot of money and time in changing and buying new AA batteries.

The charge base is not very heavy, but heavy enough so the controllers won't tip off the base when I "throw" the controllers in it. There are 2 lights in front of the chargebase where it'll tell you if the controllers are being charge. The cord on this thing is LONG, I never measured it, but it's long enough for us to use an outlet that's about 6-8 ft from the TV stand.

Oh, you might be able to save some money by buying the white chargebase, it's normally a few bucks cheaper in most online store. However, the color black is pretty rare (I reeeeally wanted it to match the console), it took me awhile to track this baby down.

Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. If you like to avoid the hassle to change batteries every week and like to have the "coolness" factor to have a chargebase that matches your xBox. You should get it.

This Nyco charger with two batteries is a great value for anyone that has just purchased an Xbox and is looking for rechargeable batteries and a charger base.

As you can see from the picture it comes with charger base that can accomodate two controllers with the batteries in place. It also comes with two batteries for only [...]!

However, this charger will not recharge the standard Microsoft batteries ([...])as those are not compatible with the Nyco Charger base.

I unfortunately now have two Microsoft batteries that require the play and charge kit (above) and this Nyco charger and two Nyco rechargeable batteries. If this charger could charge the Microsoft batteries as well this would have earned a 5 rating.

I have only had this prodcut for a week and its performance is superb so far. The batteries came almost fully charged so it took less than 15 mins total to charge both. Mine arrived from Target/ITC via Amazon. I selected the black model to match my Xbox. Hope this helps.
