I have enjoyed Tropico games and this one ads great graphics to compliment. It's fun and easily played. You won't always win but you are sure to enjoy this game.

This is one of the most unique xbox 360 titles on the market! The 360 finally has its own city/finacial sim. Tropico 3 has amazing graphics and is very easy to play and very fun. It has a somewhat short "campain", but Tropico completely makes up for it in sandbox mode with a huge number of options. The game also features some well know leaders such as fidel castro (on the cover). This game is well worth the money and deserves huge credt.

I've really been looking forward to any kind of simulation game for xbox so when tropico 3 came out, I was excited. After playing the game for a few hours, I found that it didn't really have the depth that I was expecting. I felt as though I was constantly battling being in debt, and the camera system did not make things easier.
All around it is an OK game, but I am still looking for that great console sim.

Haven't had a chance to play the game yet because the words are tiny on Standard Def. TVs. Couldn't make out what any of the words said. Be careful if you have a SDTV, I would suggest you rent it before you buy if you do have SDTV to determine for yourself.

Ok this is an amazing game, on par with or better than the previous incarnation. One of the only great sims for xbox.
However, the xbox version has a major bug. If you save a large population. (forums say 500+ but it is much less than that)
When you try to load the game again it freezes. To give you an idea, most sandbox games max out at 1990ish.
This majority disables a huge portion of the game, hampers game playability and achievement potential. Though you can make it through the campaign without experiencing the bug.
Not only is there NO patch after the game has been out since Feb 2010, but NO WORD on a patch. DO NOT buy the xbox 360 version until you check online and verify that a patch has been released. As of July 2010, it hasn't.
