Stuntman: Ignition is one of those games that comes around only once in a long while. While it may not be at the level of games like Bioshock when it comes to something new, it still is a lot of fun to play and a must-have. You do stunts for different movies such as Aftershock and Whoopin' and a Hollerin' II along with a few others, and they're very addicting to perform for. Though, at times I found myself frustrated by a certain markers that I would miss, it still is an adrenaline-packed ride that will definitely keep you pumped and ready for more action during the fast-paced gameplay. The unlockables are pretty interesting to get. Arena Customizing is a lot of fun to build and destroy things. There is just so much stored in Stuntman: Ignition that you really shouldn't miss if you love adrenaline rushes during fast gameplay. So really, go buy this game immediately.

This is an interesting game. I find it to be one of the better 360 games I own partly because it's different. The idea behind the game is an excellent one and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Going through the levels and pulling off some of these stunts became more and more enjoyable and I found myself totally immersed in the game. Admitingly, it can get a bit monatanous if you are really struggling with a particular stunt but not any worse than any shooter I've ever played. I give it high marks for its graphics, sound, storyline, and unique game experience.

... I wasn't really into the last stuntman game that hit the market (Forever ago), it was to my memory, very short and painstakingly frustrating. This game, however, is a total blast! I rented it (Something I do on a regular basis these days and would advise everyone to start doing, games are rarely worth 60 bucks anymore)a couple of nights ago and my roommate and I have played it non-stop since. The real challenge is that so much is going on all around you at once you really have to focus to complete what you would think is a real easy 2 minute scene. You have to hit your marks precisely while gas tankers are flipping in front of you, buildings are collapsing, cops are chasing you, etc.

You work on verious different 'movies' or 'commercials' that are all suspiciously familiar: Dukes of Hazzard, James Bond, Dante's Peak, a 70's cop movie, a Rambo-esque action movie and more.

There is plenty of extras to unlock for the perfectionists out there, and you'll probably find yourself going back over past movies just to nail that tricky scene that you just didn't feel that you gave your all to last time around. Don't be fooled by the one reviewer on here that said it was short! He must have the demo, this game is plenty bigger than most games out nowadays and much much more challenging (I complete Tomb Raider and Splinter Cell, Double agent each in a weekend, which is how long I have owned this now and I'm still not done playing) and certainly a lot more fun.

Cons? I honestly can't think of any. I guess some people may find the difficulty a little inconsistent (Some later missions are easier than previous ones) but that's really neither here nor there. My roommate faired better in missions where timing was more important than showmanship, and I was the opposite, so that's where I think the difficulty can appear a little off.

I'd certainly recommend giving this one a go! Best game I've played in a year or so.

I picked this title up a few weeks ago because it was on sale for $10 and I really wasn't expecting too much out of it because most of the reviews I had read on it had rated it pretty mediocre. It ended being great! It pretty much didn't come out of my Xbox 360 for about 3 straight weeks. I can see where some people would be turned off by it because you do have to repeat the same scenes over and over until you get it right, but once again, I truly enjoyed it. Note: I never played the original Stuntman on the PS2.

This game is not great. That's the first thing you have to know. It's hard beyond the measure sometimes and punishes completionists like me more than I would like it to do.

But... It is an amazing game that allows for great moments of pure fun. I'll be racing against the time and barriers proposed by the Movie Set and some stunts will, garanteed, put a smile on your face.

The only thing is that the Map editor comes with just a few options and I haven't been able to use it properly.

great game. the guy above has the demo, not the real game. very long, and you can make your own stunt track!

Stuntman is an overall fun, fast twitch game.

Pros:

Solid graphics and driving physics

Extremely fast reload times

Fun career mode

Entertaining & HQ movie trailers at the end of each film shooting.

Cons:

Sometimes nebulous paths

The commercial spots are terrible and seem like an afterthought. Barely any graphics and what's with the one error and your out stuff...

This game is really fun. But, it can be frustrating if you keep messing up part (or all) of the scene. Sometimes, it doesn't point out where your mistake lies. You just get one too many "strikes". If it replayed your mistake, it would be easier. Maybe just my tv, but; the audio is a little low & muffled. You have to really turn it up or listen because the instructions are also audio to guide you through the scene. There also isn't much variety at first with what is unlocked at the beginning.

This game is pretty darn fun. It took a minute to get the controls down and to understand what is going on but once you do get it is is fun. The game play, the challenges and the variety is extraordinary. You can replay a level 30 times and still get something new out of it.

This game is really fun, but ridiculously short. I rented it (so I'm not talking about the 3 level demo) and I finished the entire game in about 5-6 hours. True, I didn't get 5 stars on EVERY track, but nearly. I played all the levels, and the constructor, and the comercials, and whatever else opened up. If I had paid $60 for this game, I would be quite angry at the length (or lack thereof). Don't waste your money, rent it.

This is a very challenging game. My eight year old son is much better at it than I, but it's even pretty hard for him. I wish it had some beginner levels for video game amateurs like me so I could work my way up to the more challenging courses. It's pretty good for a game in the $15 price range, though it can be a little frustrating at the same time. The graphics are about a 7 or 8 out of 10. Overall a decent game if you're the patient type.
