I have been playing Madden since 1999 and the game just keeps getting better. The graphics continue to become more and more life like. The game play is outstanding. Rushing the ball is a slightly easier this year allowing for a more balanced offensive attack. The additional attributes make players more closely resemble their human counterparts. The reduction of most players overall rating greatly contributes as well. Online franchise is a new addition this year and I am entirely sure if I like it or not. Overall this game has become my personal favorite game ever.

My son says, "It is REALLY FUN! It has an OK replay ability value. The players are kind of ugly, but that's OK. You can play the game and it makes sense. I like it best out of all the Madden games I've played. Every time I want to play a team I created, I have to load it, and that takes a little while. Wish I could save Super Star Mode, and that I wouldn't have to simulate the days that I don't have anything to do on my calander. Still a fun game."

The game has already provided hours of fun for our family. The kids like the options. Even if we never add the online options, it's still worth the purchase.

This Madden game is the best game in the franchise. I don't understand why people complain about little things here and there. This game is awesome, the graphics are great, and if you're a fan of the Madden series and Football, this is the game for you. It's not like the game improved a little bit, it improved a lot. Just the feel of the game feels like you are actually playing a football game, so quit reading this review and buy it.

If you're still reading, the only thing that kind of sucks but really doesn't are the achivements. Except for a couple easy ones, the achievements are hard to get in this game, but when you do get an achievement, you feel great! I have about half of the achievements and am working on the rest so when my friends see me on thier friends list, they'll know I'm the Madden king! Seriously, this is a great game.

It's hard to understand what happens on the Madden development team, because every year it seems like they change the game in new and completely unnecessary ways. This year, the menus have been changed for seemingly no reason. The new menus do not look as good as the menus in Madden 09 and are harder to use. Why change them? You'll ask yourself questions like that a lot with this version of the game if you played a lot of Madden 09.

If the last few entries in the Madden series did not exist, then this version would probably impress me much more. As other reviewers have noted, it seems that almost nothing has changed in core gameplay except for a few mini-game button mashing sequences. The reason I am only giving this game 3 stars, though, is that other parts of the game that contributed to my enjoyment in past versions have been changed or stripped out without reason. The playcalling menus are now harder to use, particularly in terms of substitution packages. You no longer have the ability to train players, making the preseason almost completely pointless and taking a way a fun weekly activity in the game to keep the franchise mode moving forward. Little changes like this may mean nothing to some gamers, but for me make this game less fun and compelling than last year's version. On top of that the presentation has not improved - the game feels rough around the edges, there are bugs, the play-by-play remains terrible, etc. I wish I could return it.

I should note that I do not play online, so this review is not intended as a reflection of that mode. As a single-player experience, Madden 10 is one step forward and three steps back for those who play every year. If you don't have anything to judge it against, it's probably a pretty satisfying football experience. If you own Madden 09 and play primarily single-player, this is a roster update at best. Very frustrating given the strong work that some of the other EA Sports development teams have done with their franchises.

If you are really into realistic action and graphics in your gaming experience. Then the choice is as clear as it could possibility be, and as life-like as can be. Only if you have Madden NFL 10, in your collection. Then you to will be Bang-in heads with the big dogs, out there ready to check your skills to be the best.

I don't know what it is that you other Madden heads need? I have played Madden for well over a decade, and while there have been other versions that had a little of this and a little of that, this is the most enjoyable football game I have ever played. I have been online since the day it came out, and when Marion Barber breaks out of a tackle for 75 yard run, well, you can just imagine my smile!!!! While the game maintains the integrity of the Madden franchise, the new animations, stellar game play, and overall presentation and realism leaves any other version in the dust.

If you are on the fence about this game, then do what I did--go to Gamestop and trade in the Xbox 360 games that you won't have time to play because you'll be playing this, and realize a huge discount. I turned in GOW, COD World at War, and one other, and ended up getting the game for 18 dollars.

I thought they did a great job on the franchise mode. The Graphics and sounds are outstanding too. But it all stops there

For me I enjoyed madden 09 more in terms of gameplay. The game seems glitchy and slower. The players in general seem slower which throws everything off. They removed so much of the small things that made the game great :( What happen to playing the training camps! Bring back the old owner mode! They need to make Madden a more enjoyable video game not a NFL simulator.

And the whole downloading and adding in cheats from the "Madden Store" whats up with that! Those EA Naizs! We got to buy the game and then pay more money for cheats so we can win easier. They make me sick!

Madden 10 is a bunch of B.S.

Right now I am re-playing my madden 09, I hope they get it right next year.

Since others on these reviews don't seem to get much on here. I'm gonna join that club for a minute. Every year Madden has a new game that comes out. The same people that criticized every little thing from the size of Tom Brady's nose to their inability to play NFL Blitz with all exaggerated to their advantage in the Madden games are the same one's that get on here and whine about this year's game also. I don't get it! Why do you buy a game to nitpick it death. Play the game,have fun people,it does not matter if you don't like how Tony Romo looks in the game,who cares! I buy these Madden games every year and guess what I just have fun playing them. I do not look for petty little things that are not important to write a review about griping cause I can't do what I want to do in the game and I'll never waste my money again. The problem with this game is it is too realistic for some people and the simple truth is they can't play it so they nitpick it death. This is probaly the best game in the series. EA done alot of revamping and redoing that made this more true to the NFL and the real game of pro football. You make a mistake as a QB in this game and throw a bad pass or make a wrong read chances are you are going to get picked or sacked just like real football. No power ups, no mushrooms that make u invinsible in this game. Welcome to Madden NFL football.
