I understand the concerns about losing some of the in depth drafting and team building that existed in previous versions...but this game is still very good! The graphics are better than anything in the past! In addition, online play rocks!

I found it to be a very enjoyable game, that all levels of gamers could pick up and play, and still have fun.

And if you want to go solo, pick your parents (which picks the position you play) and let it rip! I ended up being a Quarterback who was drafted in the second round by the Raiders.

Just finished this game and finally won the SUPEBOWL. WHAT THE HECK HAPPEND!!! EA is GETTING SOOOOO CHEAP!!! WHERE THE HECK IS THE CELEBRATION AFTER WINNING THE BIG GAME!!!!. You win...and the game just moves on to the PROBOWL. That is soooo stupid!! C'mon EA, at least have a POT OF GOLD at the end of the RAINBOW... Don't buy this game!!! 06 is just as good and even cheaper. EA is getting worse and worse....

I have the xbox and xbox 360. I also have madden 07 on both. Madden 07 on the 360 sucks. The game play is just so different that its really hard to get used to. Put it this way, I've tried to play it several times and can't get through a whole game. Madden 07 on regular xbox is 5 stars!!!! Stick with that one.

This game is absolutely ridiculous. I have played football games since NES and this one feels like that is where it belongs. Game play is horrible and if that's the case then who cares about graphics. If you want visuals watch a movie, if you want game play you had better look elsewhere for a football game. EA needs to stick to the Sims and let true football fans and players create football games.

well like most people who bought madden for the 360 last year, i wasent sure how this game whould do. Sure they added superstar mode and in franchise mode added mel kiper for the draft, but i wasent really sure if it was worth 60 bucks. Well i must say its worth it. I mean the gameplan is great and the led blocker control is a very nice addiction to the game. The draft is alot better then the plain verion in previous versons were in this one u actually get info from mel about all the future rookies of the nfl. The superstar mode is very good also, you 1st start out hiring a agent, and then doing workouts for teams then its on to the combine to prove your skills. I have only had madden for 10 hours and find myself glued to it all ready unlike lasts years version for the 360. If u have any doubts put them away becuz i assure its the best madden ive ever played, and ive been buying madden since 1998

After ESPN 2k sports sold out to madden a couple years ago, I was forced to play madden even though I've hated it for years. Madden 06 wasn't too bad and with buying an Xbox 360 I decided to pick up Madden 07. First off the graphics are good, the game interface is terrible and often at times very frustrating. No team create, player creation lacks fun. And trying to increase players skills is hard and a bad way of improving your player. If you play with you team past 2006 to 2020 etc. the rookies will start being numbered "0" or single digit numbers for any type of position, an exmaple being Linbacker number "5." This game is all what it's hyped up to be.

The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is awesome. It does slow down a tiny bit but not during the game play. only during menu selection type stuff. It's definately worth getting. My only complants are that in two player mode its too easy to see what the other person is choosing. I like the plays assigned to buttons better. Also, if I choose a play simultaniosly to the second player choosing or even moving around on the menu it doesnt let me choose. I have to hit the button twice. that sucks. and finaly put madden back in the game. I dont want to hear a radio announcer on a game called Madden 07! Other than that it's awesome!

The first question I must ask in this review after reading the many reviews for this game is what is wrong with it? If nothing else this game is fun to play and I like the way it is presented. What do you people want that gave this such a bad review. The more they put in a game the more you would criticize so what's the point. After all this game is one of the first for the 360 at this title. I'm sure they will continue to improve some things on it. The one thing I didnt like on these 360 EA titles is they don't give you all the options the PS2 did. You have to go online to get the alternate jerseys and unlock certain things. But I enjoyed playing this game and the way it looks is great. So you people that are so critical of this my question is,Why are you playing games anyway? Obviously not for fun so lighten up and enjoy this for what it is. A great game with ur favorite NFL teams and players to play a game of football and have alot of fun and bragging rights to friends and family.

if your looking for a party game to play with your friends or on live then this is perfect... if your looking for all the little details, fantasy drafts and whatever else then I would look into a different year's madden. however, i just play this with my friends to have tournaments and just a good time and for me its perfect

Okay, first of all, this game is being built from the ground up. That means all new character models, all new stadium designs, new cutscene animations, tackling animations, everything is brand new. And guess what? All of it has less than a year to be designed, tested, and completed. It takes time to reimplant all the game modes due to the fact that they had to redesign the whole game for the 360 and PS3. Madden is Madden, football is football. Character models are developed in similarity to that of ESPN, and that is because EA partnered up with ESPN, hence the ESPN radio over Xbox Live. Now to strictly gameplay. It's not bad, its a whole new separate game from that of the original platforms. Buttons changed, models are different, animations are tweaked, and the feel of the game is at a different level.

People need to stop complaining about game options missing, about choppy screens, and all of it. Two years on new software and you expect a perfect game built from the ground up in under a year of work while still developing for the original consoles. You have to be crazy. Football is football. Get this game because you want to have a football game, play against friends, and have a fun time on your 360. EA just listened to the reviews of ESPN NFL 2K series and developed it more into the essence of that. And in about two years we will see how it goes.

Don't complain that EA is messing up. All sports games won't be the same for a while. New system. So don't complain and write reviews on that. Write reviews that reflect the development of a new franchise of Madden for the Next Gen. It's different and will take time to become perfect.

What a piece of garbage. I bought the collector's edition and took it back after a week. I lost 20 bucks but didn't care. Madden 2008 will be as bad as well because they are still using the same graphics engine that they have since the Xbox days. Terrible series.

I along w/ the last 3 reviewers don't have a clue what everyone else that rated this game so low expects. The game is solid. No game will ever be perfect to any one person. Everyone wants something different and enjoys different parts of the game. Now Madden 2006 for the 360 was horrible , I agree. It was an incomplete game that was rushed.The franchise mode is great in 07 and the graphics are well ahead of the ps2 and xbox as expected.For the previous person who complained Young and Bush weren't starters, I say this THEY AREN'T GOING TO START why would the game make them starters. As for the Hall of Fame players sneaking in ...they don't if you just save rosters and don't unlock them into your roster.This is a great game if you have enjoyed any maddens. Yes we are at a loss that EA has the NFL , however all of you would still complain about missing modes , extras " glitches " in any game made by anyone else. Just enjoy it for what it is ( a good game ) If you aren't ok with that I suggest you intern at EA climb the ladder and make your perfect game that everyone else would still have problems with.

This game proves the theory that you should rent before you buy. I bought it strictly on the name alone, and I paid the price. Sure, it looks good, but that's about it. Where the heck is owner mode? Why does every pass defense for every team resemble the 2007 Packers pass defense? I can't stop anyone and I've been playing Madden for years. I can't even finish an entire game because I get so frustrated by the poor defense that I want to chuck my 360 out the window. I actually went back and bought a copy of Madden '05 for the X-box so I could play a football game I might enjoy. The minigames are fun for the first hour or so, but there's no way they can carry the whole experience. The menu interfaces are annoying, the "radio" commentary sucks (What's with naming it "Madden '07" if he isn't doing the color commentary?), and Franchise Mode is stripped of anything remotely interesting. I'm tempted to dig out my Sega Genesis and crank up '94. Or stick my head in the ceiling fan...either is more fun than this piece of ...but I digress. The whole thing feels incomplete, and if this is an indicator of what EA sports is doing to the franchise on 360, this is the last Madden I will buy on this console.
