The Lego Star Wars games seem to have such wonderful humour. Although the Star Wars items have been done to death, this humour makes the game. It is fun, and challenging and suitable for all ages. Theres no language to be concerned about either. A long lasting game and multiplayer too. Very good value for money in my opinion.

I bought this game last year for $50 and it has been well worth the money. The characters are easy to maneuver, there is so much story (six episodes with six levels each plus tons of bonuses), and two can play together. After you play each level in story mode, you can go back and play in free play, in which you choose your characters, find secret areas, and collect Lego cannisters which make a Star Wars minikit. There are also other bonus levels, such as Lego City which in which you must find the 1,000,000 hidden studs by destroying, building and solving puzzles. And there's more...you can visit Jabba the Hut and work as a bounty hunter looking for characters or play a two person arcade mode. As for following the Star Wars movie plots...it does fairly well, but a few levels (especially in Episodes 1,2 and 3) seem to elaborate on something minor in the movie and leave out a major scene. Regardless, we have enjoyed this game very much and are still playing!

"Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is a fun and entertaining videogame for both children and adults alike. All six "Star Wars" films are represented in six separate games, which each game containing six levels. First you must play a level in "story" mode: meaning that you must play that level using characters as defined by the game. Once you complete a level, you can replay it in "free mode", which allows you to play it with any characters that you have unlocked to that point. A variety of items are hidden in each level, some of which cannot be accessed until you can play that level in "free mode". For example, some areas are only accessible to bounty hunters and some objects can only be accessed using the dark side of the force.

With each level successfully completed, the player earns a gold Lego block; and the more Lego pieces that are collected while playing a level, the more Lego "money" is earned, as well as the possibility of earning "Jedi status" for that level, which earns yet another gold Lego block. Finding hidden items in each level may unlock other abilities that can be purchased if you have earned enough Lego money. XBOX-360 Achievements are earned for completing each film-based game, as well as for other game accomplishments.

Since the game's developers went to great lengths to recreate the look and feel of the "Star Wars" universe, as well as the plot of each film, in a Lego-format, "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is an immersive game that is sure to provide many hours of entertainment and fun to anyyone. Hence, my overall rating for "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga" is a resounding 5 out of 5 stars and I highly recommend it.

The first time I played any of the Lego series was with a bundle pack I got with my X-box 360, The Indiana Jones series. After playing that for a little while and having a great time with friends I noticed the Star Wars game on sale I didn't hesitate.

The graphics are excellent and there is a lot of attention to detail and most of all this is a FUN game to play. I have friends who have barely played any type of game who enjoy playing.

Some of the little things I love about the game are watching Chewbacca tearing limbs of Storm troopers and the smug grin that is on Han Solo's face throughout the entire game. The fact that C3P0 hops at times due to damage he has taken is also quiet amusing.

One of the most annoying things about the game is that it is too easy to beat a member of your team up making them lose hearts. At least getting health back is not hard.

Some of the levels are so much fun you will love the fact that you can go back and free play with a selection of characters and get the other units you were unable to access the first time. Other levels (or maybe it is just me) were painful and I was just glad to get them over with. It wasn't that the game was necessarily too hard it was just fidgety when you were flying to have to go back several times to get missiles to get past blocks. I suppose they have to give those levels substance and maybe I just need to learn how to control the different ships better.

Some advice:

Trying to pass the level of the Pod race on two player when the other person is not as experienced as you will make you want to pull your hair out and maybe even throw your controller at the TV. After failing several attempts at a cooperative pass, my friend dropped out and I passed it alone first attempt.

Another note for people who are playing with an less experienced gamer, try not to let them collect all of the studs because every time they die (which is bound to happen, whether it be jumping off a ledge to get something or from just getting shot) you loose them and lessen your chances of getting 100% Jedi.

All in all this is a game I enjoyed a lot both as a Star Wars fan and as a social gamer and something people of all ages will be able to enjoy.

This is a new edition of the previous Star Wars Lego games. They have been repackaged and some extras have been added. The biggest difference is the improvement in graphics and continuity. You can play the game by yourself, with a partner or on-line. And, after you have completed everything, you can do it all in one fell swoop! That is what the game claims, I haven't reached that point yet!

I was introduced to the Star Wars Lego series with the last installment, Star Wars Lego II: The Original Trilogy and I must admit I was a bit disappointed the first time I played this game. There is a significant difference between the difficulty of the games as well as the playability. But, once I realized that it was unreasonable to expect the entire set to be 2007 X-Box 360 quality, I started having a lot of fun.

Now, I should add that my daughter has loved this game from day one. She had played some of the older games at her friend's and was extremely excited to get the game (she made me pre-order it!)

Short and sweet: the game is a lot of fun. It is not too difficult, but that doesn't really matter. There are so many hidden items and very funny scenes that the game is a joy to play. You don't find yourself laughing out loud too often playing video games, but you will be in this one. Storm Troopers in speedos, enough said......

The game is good for children and adults. This is also a game you can play with your children. The two player mode works very well. The two player mode is also good for helping children (and adults) understand the concepts of cooperation and sharing---a definite plus in the world of gaming! There isn't anything too bad in any of the games. Characters explode into a pile of legos and you can shoot buildings apart---that is about it on the violence scale. It is definitely a fun game and you will not be disappointed!

As always Lego has done a great job. The game is both fun and funny.

Four words: the best game ever. This is the game that got me started playing with the xBox. Up to this point, I was a puzzle-game person (Peggle, JewelQuest, Nancy Drew, Agatha Christie and the like) and avoided most action games. Partly because I do get motion sick, and partly because I have the reflexes of a sloth. I've never been able to handle the action first-person shooter style games, but this one is different.

The camera angle, other than in a very few places, is such that I don't get motion sick and the fact that dying doesn't (usually) do anything bad but cost you money (until you're invincible) is great. It's a low-pressure game, and while a few of the situations can be a little frustrating (such as the jumping - at least until you get flying characters!) overall it's just good fun.

And long! This is a game where you get your money's worth, that's for sure. There are six episodes, each with six levels. In each level there are 4 objectives (True Jedi, Red Brick, Mini-kits, Blue Cannister Challenge), which require several play-throughs in different modes. There are also some bonus levels (Lego Town, New Lego Town, etc) and extra challenges (Jaba the Hutt's 'find the character' levels).

And last, but not least, you get the achievements - from the simple 'completed the level' to the fun 'let the wookie win' to the difficult 'complete a level without dying (and not being invincible)'.

The only thing I was disappointed in was what was built after all the gold bricks were acquired. It was a bit of a letdown, but barely puts a dent in the greatness of the game. This is the game that all future games will be measured against in my book. Cute, creative, fun, and simply amazing. Go play it today! Even if you're not an 'action game' sort of person. Really, you won't regret it.

I was a little skeptical about these games ever since they came out. I had never played any of them and finally my curiosity got the best of me and I bought this game yesterday. Boy have I been missing out!!! This game is one of the most fun games I have ever played. You will love this game, especially if you love Star Wars like I do, or like Legos like I used to.

The combination of Star Wars and Legos is perfect. The gameplay is very smooth and very entertaining. This game brings me back to when I was a kid playing with Legos and I love that about this game. The game follows the movies very well also.

All six movies in one game = awesome. Also my girlfriend and I played this game for 3 hours straight last night. She does not like video games but she loved this one. There is no blood or gore, just Legos breaking apart so this game would be great for kids.

Overall a great game and I would recommend to everyone, even if you don't like Star Wars or Legos it would be fun (although a lot more fun if you do).

This game is so fun. I love to relax and play this. It is a fairly easy game but has enough of a challenge to keep your attention. If you are between the ages of 4 and 70+, love Star Wars and the Lego games, this game is for you. A great game to play with family members.

I love the lego games. They are fun alone, they are fun with friends, and they are safe for play with and around children... which is something you cant say about most games.

My kids, wife, and I LOVE this game. It is very well done, funny, and enjoyable to play. The additional touches are wonderful and show great attention to detail. For example, the characters will tip-toe in various manners depending on the character. If you are looking for great family games, the Lego series (Star Wars & Indiana Jones) is the way to go.
