I don't have anything specific to type honestly. I'm just a casual gamer. I bought the first edition last year on black friday by mistake on Amazon. Played it...loved it. My roommates loved it and bought their own copy and we had some great online co-op missions.

This version...it's much tougher because there aren't many (if any) certified hiding spots. It also encourages you to continue moving. This hurts those who like to abuse glitches or just camp out until the coast is clear. It also makes you rely on your teammates much, MUCH more. No longer can I just run through a stage almost by myself.

I've read all these reviews on here stating how this should have been an expansion pack (????? NO!) and how the characters aren't as arousing as the previous set of characters (I agree) and how it's now too hard (it's been less than a month since its release...). Honestly, I don't really know what yall are expecting. Chain saws don't last forever. Nor do rocket launchers. I just think people always want the sequel to have so much instead of just being happy it's not the same as the previous (and this game is not the same as the previous. Night and day, literally)

The only downfall I can find about this game is the character nammed THE SPITTER. I can't stand it. You kill it and it spits at you still! It can spit at high archs and once its acid hits you....your life is almost over. They take out that character and this game can be much more enjoyable.

But look - I'm just a casual gamer.

i was hesitant about purchasing this game at first. i mean how long does it take to get bored when all you have to do is repeatedly kill zombies? well, it must take a LONG time, lol. i bought this game back in November and still play it regularly. i think its best played with friends over xbox live though. in fact this game is the definition of co-op!

L4D gave me MANY hours of zombie killing joy. with the addition of melee weapons and new special infected, this game is just as wonderful if not better than the first!!

I own Left for dead for the 360. When I heard that L4D2 was coming out, I was initially upset. Within less than a year, we were being given a sequel. Worse, it didnt sound like it was that much of an improvement over the L4D. Although I didn't sign it, I was one of the many who were against purchasing this game. Well, after trying a demo, I was a little more open to the idea. Overall, L4D2 should have been what was released initially. During the christmas season, I had a little extra money and the game went on sale so I pulled the trigger. What a great decision. Compared to L4D, it requires much more cooperation from all players involved. No longer is it safe to just huddle in the corner and wither a wave of zombies. From the additional zombies to improvements to the director. The director is more devious, I would say almost to the point that I feel like someone at valve is controlling it and relishing eery second of it. Special zombies will spawn and/or a wave of zombies will come at the most inconvenient time. Whereas the L4D director would spawn tanks towards the middle-end of the level, the L4D2 director will spawn them in the beginning as well. To make matters worse, difficulty seems to creep upward if you can't pass a level. It seems to me the more times you repeat a level, the more likely it is you will get a tank. It really requires good team work to get past a level on expert. Thankfully, the addition of powerups such as explosive and flaming ammo keep the game a little more balanced in addition to the new weapons. Overall, a worthy successor and well worth the price.

Have not played "left 4 dead" 1 since this one came out. There is always some action going on and team work is always needed.

is a blast! Even if you haven't played the first. It's best with friends or online, but you can still enjoy it alone. You might not like it if you absolutely HATE first person shooters, but I'd still give it a chance.

I am not much of a gamer, and tend to out grow games pretty quickly- usually within a few days, but this game has really stood the test of time with me. I have been playing it now for 6 months and going strong. It's fun, it's easily playable (no complicated menus you constantly have to scroll through). The graphics aren't perfect, but the game is so much fun I really don't care. This truly has been one of my favorite past-times for months. I really hope they make another one, or continue to add down-loadable content!

It took Left 4 Dead and just got better. The characters are awesome. The stages are awesome. The whole game is awesome. The new special infected create a new challenge. The classic infected are still there. The melee weapons add another dimension to the game. I cannot wait for some DLC. I recommend this game to anyone who wants to shoot zombies. Personally, I enjoy playing this game co-op with a friend.

Game is just what I wanted. A new version of the old game i love with some new levels, new characters, and different challenges. all in all very entertaining, great replay value and great for parties just like the first one.

The best online game on the xbox360 at least to me..this game is the only reason I got into online gaming..you and your team have to survive through different campaigns and you have to help each other whenever is needed..I played both parts but the second part is much better and there will be a new campaign released in xbox live featuring characters from both L4D and L4D2..simply don't miss the best game of the year

I am thrilled that amazon had this game in stock. My grand daughter is 18 and a senior in high school. she plays this game almost every day and absolutely loves it. she hooks up online with her xbox 360 in michigan and her brother hooks up on his machine in ohio. they laugh out loud and play until they can't laugh anymore. this game allows many people to play at one time and talk to each other. it has an adult theme and is not for younger children without adult permission. i am very pleased with amazon, both in choices of games, prices, and the very fast and well packed shipping. perfect company, perfect game. thank you amazon!!

LFD2 is the best game for co-op fun. What is better than you and 3 friends shooting hundreds of zombies? The game can be challenging - it makes you and your teammates stick together. If you go off on your own you will not survive. Similar to the original Left 4 Dead, but adds new characters, melee weapons, new special zombies, new items, and new weapons. Overall a lot of fun and I haven't even tried the versus multiplayer yet.

I love this game and although there isn't much of a diffirence between left 4 dead 2 and the original other then new characters and more campains (l4d had 4 l4d2 has 5) and new guns the quialty of the game has changed for the better pretty much if you loved l4d you'll love this game

This game is awesome! We had the first one and wore it out... I'm sure we'll do the same with this one! The graphics are great, the updates to the weapons are fun... it's a pretty great game overall! It is a little hard to find your way around some of the campaigns but totally worth it!
