I bought this for my nephew that lives with us as a birthday gift and he loved it, not only does he play it but me and my husband play it as well. It's also great to play when you have family over! If you have teenage boys or girls I highly recomend it's great fun.

what do we always say when we like a game,, it rocks..

wel, this game letterly rocks... music that makes you jump insanly in the room,,, everyone can enjoy it no matter how old or young they are..

if you're lookin for the graphics just look at the crowd and the guitarest.. you'll feel like you are one of the crowd right away.. song list is amazing and has alot of taste from hard rock, death metal and even the crazy bucket head kinda songs.. its easy to play, and challenging when it comes to how cool you rock your way through..

honestly... i bought an xbox 360 because of the game.. tho i wanted to buy a PS3... and when it comes on the PS3.. im soooo buying the console..

go for it,, trust me.. its whats goin on right now..

Guitar Hero 2 Bundle is lots of fun. It's feels just like your playing the real electric guitar. I love it.

One of the best games released for Xbox 360, and instant classic!

The first time I saw this game, I didn't really think that much of it. Additionally, it looked pretty darn boring when I watched a group of other people playing it. My moment of zen came when I picked up a wireless PS2 guitar controller and played a round of the game myself. I was instantly hooked. Its amazing! Be sure to visit the forums on the official website ([...]) for tips/help and to interact with other guitar hero fans. Also, there is a new Guitar Hero community (the creators aren't related to any of the guitar hero makers in any way) at [...] that should soon be the place for Guitar Hero fans to hang out and get some advice.

Although Guitar Hero is the most amazing game ever.... They should have just waited a bit longer and made it wireless and put even more new songs on the line-up!!!!

Having never played this game on the PS2, I can't be happier. I first played the game at FYE on April 1 and I was immediately hooked. I didn't do to well playing it at FYE, but you wouldn't have known that once I got the game home.

Graphically, I personally don't think they are any thing special, on the other hand you are not buying the game because of the graphics, and to me you get so focused on playing the guitar you don't have time to watch the band or the crowd.

The biggest question that I have seen is this worth the money? Yes and No, yes if you don't have the PS2 version, and no if you have the PS2 version.

The one thing I really like about this game is how it works your hand eye coordination. Which I think is great for the younger people. I also like how you can practice just like you would a real guitar, and over 70 songs to chose from should keep you busy for a while.

Who could avoid all the hype around GHII? I was thinking to myself that this was a game for just the late teen or early twenties gamers. Man was I wrong! The minute I tried my first song I fell in love. The game is easy to pick up if you're a noob and difficult to master even for you hardcore shredders out there.

It's graphically pleasing to the eye and the sound is excellent. I mainly listen through my fairly expensive headphones and it sounds fantastic! I can't wait to hook it up to my main stereo system. To say that this game is addicting is like saying that it's a bit chilly at the north pole. The game will suck you into it. You'll find yourself wanting to improve so you can raise your percentage of notes hit for a given song. There are times when I play that I feel like I'm really performing a live concert, it can be completely engrossing!

I'm an 80's gen guy so I would love to find more of an 80's pop selection eventually to download from the Xbox live marketplace. There are plenty of songs included though that will keep me happy for quite a while.

The only minor issue I take with the game is its overuse of the "evil" theme that has for such a long time has been needlessly part of the lexicon of rock. You'll see zombies, skulls, devils, demons, 666 references etc. and of course there's the song lyrics that echo the same. Not too surprising, but it's a point that is often overlooked.

Overall, the game has a very broad appeal to it. If you're one of those guys or gals that doubts they would like a game like this sort I would say just give it a try. You won't regret it!

It's time to ROCK!

This game is really good. I have played both the PS2 version and the 360 version, and they are basically the same game, except the 360 has 10 new songs, an awesome x-plorer controller, and downloadable content. So basically if you have it for PS2 skip it on the 360 but if you have a 360 and a PS2, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up on the 360.

I loved guitar hero 2 for the playstation 2. When I heard they were releasing it for the 360 I was so happy. The game is even better than the PS2 version! Better graphics, more features, more songs, and DOWNLOADABLE songs! You can download songs from the marketplace! I give this game 5 stars. I have already played this game over 100 hours. Usually I find that playing a game more than an hour or so gets extremely boring, but not Guitar Hero! If you have a PS2 or an X-Box 360, go buy this game, you don't know what you are missing!

I bought Guitar Hero II for my 11yr old son. He got an Xbox360 for his birthday in November so for Christmas we got him this game. He loves it. Now he wants to learn how to play a real guitar. The game is super fun. He even dances while he plays and trys to do moves like the rock stars.

Having played the Playstation 2 version of this game I was delighted when this came out for the Xbox. I'm not at all disappointed in the game, it's as fantastic as the PS2s version, plus has more songs, and with the Xbox Elite it's in HD and looks superb. If I could change anything though I'd modify the guitar slightly. I find the whammy bar is too closely placed to the string paddle. So that when playing your hand actually rests on part of the whammy bar. Also compared to the PS2 version this guitar's Start button (used for pausing the game or deploying Star Power) is miniscule(about the size of a pencil eraser compare to the PS2's quarter sized button). That very important when you are forced to pause the game and notes are streaming past you while you're looking for the pause button. The button is also placed closely to other buttons making finding it by feel more difficult. The overall length of the guitar also feels shorter - so my arms feel as though they are tighter to my body (as if playing a bass guitar vs an electric guitar). The guitar itself feels high quality, the buttons and paddles feel tight and more crisp (which I prefer) compared to the PS2's looser feel. Also this guitar's expansion port with a foot pedal accessory planned makes this version all the more exciting. Having played both game versions and guitars this is ultimately the better in both cases.
