Nice to have an XBox game that is really fun and not about war / guns/ violence / sexual themes , etc. Great graphics and sound. But, from what I understand from my son, MSoft entices you to buy the right to earn more cars, not the carsd themeselves... if you pay, you should get something for it immediately. Should not have to pay at all - just earn it with your progress.

Would like to try this game with one of the driving consoles available.

excellent feedback while driving. Shelby power and muscle car handling are far different than Lotus handling and each car has unique handling skills you dont find with other games...

This was a big improvement over forza 2 i mean the engine sound so realistic, the car detail and much more. I just think the car pack should be free ^^ but anyways this was a great game for ppl whole love driving games.

I bought Forza 2 for cheap and never really got into it. The improvements to Forza 3 made it much more addictive and enjoyable.

+ The graphics are more colorful and fun to look at than real life.

+ I don't think I'll ever play a racer again without rewind. It spoils you quickly.

+ The frame rates never stutter creating super smooth action.

+ All of the cars have a different personality and really like using the driver's seat view for most of them.

+ The physics feel spot on with all of the assists disabled. It's helpful being able to work your way up to this at your own pace.

+ My music play list blends well with the default settings, in Forza 2 this wasn't the case.

+ I like the leaderboard system where you are penalized for using rewind and unclean tracks. It makes every lap feel like a new race against the leaderboard.

- The leaderboards are filled with some ridiculously and unrealistic customized cars. You can only get so high up without using them.

- I hear the multi-player is bad.

- On the easy difficulty the other drivers fall asleep at the wheel and unrealistically drive off the track if they are in the lead.

Got this game for Christmas and have to say it is fantastic. Best overall graphics I have seen in a racing game and the variety of cars is amazing. Driving physics are excellent. I would agree with most people that the online play is awful but I don't race online that much anyway so it's no big deal to me.

I would say that for sheer thrills it's not my favorite racing game. Race Pro is still my personal favorite but it more them makes up for it because of all of the great extras and fine details that you will find throughout this game. If you love cars, get this and enjoy!

This is by far the best racing game I have ever played. It is the first one that actually feels realistic, like driving a car. The only thing missing is the g force. At first I played with the controller, which was fun, but then I got the xbox wheel which is a whole different level. Feedback is very realistic and the only thing that could make it better would be a real shifter with clutch.

I was a big fan of Forza 2. I played that game up until the release of Forza 3. With Forza 3, they really did a good job of adding in the things that the community wanted. The new features are great. The Storefront is the biggest addition. The ability to buy desings and logos instead of buying an entire car is huge. I also like the ability to make movies from your replays.

The single player is great as usual. The calendar and season layout is awesome. It feels like you're actually racing through a career as a pro driver.

The MP is good but they removed the ability to tune your car from the race lobby. I can't figure out why they would do that. Now you must have a tune setup saved for your cars if you want to have a tuned car in a MP race.

Graphics are great. The only problem I have is with the tires. The tires are all too narrow on the wheels. You can see the lip of the wheels sticking out beyond the tires. I think they did this to enhance the sidewell flex that they added to the game but it just makes the tires/wheels look funny.

Despite these small gripes, it's the best next gen racing game to date.

Just an awesome game.... I'm completely addicted.

The graphics are stunning, physics engine is fantastic and with a nice big TV and surround sound, this just sucks you in... completely awesome.

Great game as always! Tons of cars and a bunch of tracks. The quick jump between the menus has really improved the gaming experience as well.

this is a very good game. i love it. its a whole lot to do in the game. the graphis is really good and there are so many cars to choose from. there is also more for you to choose from online to. i play a little bit of the online races and I havent seen any serious problems with it. frankly I could care less about the online experience with this game. as long as the offline content is good im happy. the only time i get on xbox live is to download more content. the little bit that i did play on xbox live was good though. no lag times or freeze ups. another reason i dont care to much about the online is because you need live gold and I have a free one month subscription to it. once it expires I wont be going back to gold. dont feel like paying the 50 bucks it cost for a 1 year subscription. but anyway, i like the in car view, wish you could see more of the interior though but its good. i also like how you could not only change the colors of race cars you can also upgrade the engines and other performance stuff. something you couldnt do on part 2. i highly recommend this game to any race fan and car fanatic. oh and i luv the price i paid for it also.

this is the best racing game avaialble to date. graphics are great, controls and physics are dead on. they have a difficulty level for everyone from beginners to expert. i love the unlimited rewind feature, saves you from a lot of frustrating restarting of races. i got it on sale for $34, great game i highly recommend.

After playing Forza 2 for countless hours making all of my dream cars, Forza 3 fulfilled my car dreams way beyond the predecessor. I found very little wrong with the game besides the problem that's arising in most new games nowadays: no support for split screen + online multiplayer. Sure the game offers both, but since I play almost every game with my girlfriend, we can't play online together. The new multiplayer lobbies are a bit weird and wish people could host public rooms for others to join. Definitely money well spent though despite those reasons I listed.

Bought this for my kids but also myself because in the video preview it showed a Corvette and that was all I needed to see.

I'm not much of a writer. So I apologize first and foremost. With Gran Turismo 5 consistently being delayed, I needed my "fix" on a simulation racing game. And frankly, only GT and Forza come close. Forza 3 has upped the ante on this and that's why I believe GT has to delay...again....their game. The graphics are amazing, sounds from the car is awesome. "Quick Tuning" is fun, no worrying about which parts to buy to get you to a certain level.
