Coming from a country where soccer is our life, and being a soccer player myself, this is the best and most realistic soccer game I have played thus far. This also coming from someone who's been a Pro Evolution fanboy since Super Star Soccer came out for Super Nintendo. For more than 13 years I've played Konami, Konami, Konami and always defended their soccer games no matter what, and in my opinion I was right, but this year EA Sports really slapped me in the mouth. FIFA 10 is just very realistic in movement of players and ball physics, it gives you so much freedom to dribble (the right analog stick is dedicated just to dribbling), lots and lots of animations, intelligent AI and amazing online play, not to mention Be a Pro Mode, which is really making Become A Legend from PES look bad. Playing with someone else is also always exciting, and not two games are the same...whereas sometimes I felt they where that way in PES.

CONS: The only two cons I can honestly think about is lack of Champions League either in Be a Pro or Manager modes...and the inability to save your replays, both of which really, REALLY suck so bad, and I hope they're implemented in an update.

This is really not an in-dept review of this game, this is just me as someone who's been a PES fan from a long time ago telling you this game really grabs the soul and passion of soccer and puts it in your screen. I'm not saying PES 10 sucks in anyway, but after playing both, I liked FIFA 10 better. If pro evolution improves next year, I'll go back to it, but until now, FIFA10 remains the best soccer game I've ever played.

This is a must for someone who's looking for the greatest soccer game up to date.

The best game of socccer youll get this year. When i first got it i tried out tournaments, manager mode, virtual pro and more, i was more than plaesed with this game, absolutely recomended. Graphic are superb, gameplay is fantastic, manager is very good, so if youre thinking of buying this game i highly recomended it, much better than pes 2010 and i know because ive played it too, no comparison, FIFA 10 is way off better.

This is the best soccer game I've ever played. It is very realistic and offers a lot of possibilities. The previous soccer game I played was Fifa 09 in the Wii, then switched to Fifa 10 in ps3. I must say it was a gigantic change, but it was for good in the end. When I started playing it I felt like I was trapped and was never going to master the game, it was just too hard for me. But if you really try and take time to master the game you will feel how it's just awesome in almost every aspect. It offers hours and hours of fun, even more when playing with friends. I've passed a lot of time playing it and hasn't gotten old.

Graphically it is very well polished. I must say that it can look better when you have a closer look of the players, ball, field, etc, than when you have a wide view. Some things might be too colorful in my opinion, but they still look good.

I think the best thing the game has is the playability. Being able to make tricks, various shots & passes gives the game a lot of depth. Something I like is that there is nothing scripted, like certain movement you do will always work. You can always be stopped or miss, it's not like the old soccer games where you could have certain formulas for scoring or getting the ball.

The things I don't like is that sometimes the responsiveness when making a second player run is not too fast. Also the 1 on 1 online multiplayer is very difficult to connect with other player, even when trying to play with friends. That's not the case of the team multiplayer though, that is very easy to access. Also sometimes the passes don't go where you want 'em, but you get the aim of it with practice, though it still happens even when you have experience but not very often.

Overall an excellent game. So if you want a realistic soccer game this must be it.

I decide to buy PES 10 first and enjoyed the game but got bored with it after a couple of months and traded it in for FIFA 10.

Wow is is by far the best soccer game I have ever played and I've been playing soccer game for over 20 years Matchday for the 48k spectrum being my first.

The game play is so realistic, and strength of the players is spot on, PES 10 has matched the player looks better than FIFA but they are still good.

The only problem I found with FIFA is the fact I have been fired by my club a few times so far I like a challange when plying soccer games and when I set the difficulty so I get a challange the board sack me for not winning most of my games which you would expect but it is fustrating.

Overall a great game!

This may have put EA Sports over the top. Game play is as close to what football can ever be on a console. The features get better and better everytime I play a game. 2011 will be hard pressed to top all of the outstanding features packed into 2010. The only thing better would be to play the game with a real life footballer. Wanye Rooney for FIFA President!

This review is based from the perspective of a fellow referee. Let me start by explaining I have been refereeing for over 14 years, reaching the levels of intercollegiate football. With that said, I anticipated this game with great expectations as I had read the [...] review first.

When I burst into this game, the graphics and gameplay were of utmost concern. IN ADDITION, the refereeing prowess, skill, and real-life "ness" were just equally as important factors. WOW! I have to say, I am impressed! You could tell EA Sports took their time to consult with actual referees in the development of this game because the referee signaling is spot on, NOT TO MENTION, their foul recognition. For example, I was playing early this morning PURPOSEFULLY slide tackling every opponent I could as to see if their foul EA Sport's referee's foul recognition was similar to mine.

EA SPORTS: Excellent job! And, I don't even have to pay the refs for each game I play, that is how real this is.

I play Fifa series since the 2008 version and it`s incredible how impressed I feel each time EA brings a new version. Fifa 2010 is still more realistic than the olders and will ensure several times of fun. An improvement in intelligence and graphics can be felt when you see the goalkeepers, defenders or stylish kicks and dribbles.

Get it with no afraid and enjoy your choice.

This was purchased as a gift for a 20 year old soccer player and fan. He just loves the game. Watching it being played is like watching a game on TV. The commentator features are great.

There are many more detailed reviews out there so I will keep this brief.

Thank you EA for addressing the excessive off-side penalties, and the '360' control while not as revolutionary as touted does add a lot to the game.

The new tournament and lounge modes are great, and this is one of the best sports games I've played, period. If you like futbol this game is a no-brainer.

I have the 360 version and my neighbor the PS3, (I also have the PS3 version of 2009) and as always I have to recommend the 360 version. I can't tell a difference in the graphics, but the 360 version boots and loads much faster, the controller is 2x better (I have bigger hands) and I don't have to download annoying updates every week.

I've been a FIFA fan for many years. My love of this video game, particularly on Xbox 360, has led to me becoming a huge fan of professional soccer (football), particularly the English Premier League. For those seeking improvements over previous years, FIFA 10 does not disappoint. Amazing new animations, dozens of them, add to the realism like never before. Some may dislike the slightly faster gameplay, but not me. The rich details and sharp action make every match feel like the real thing. I haven't had a chance to get into all the special new features, but the most intriguing looks to be the custom set pieces. I look forward to another year of addiction to this remarkable video game.

Excellent for the soccer fan. Very entertaining, although it has a bit of a learning curve.

ive been playing fifa since fifa 06 and this game gets better and better every year the goalies are better the shakes are more modified to fit the real action you use on the right joy stick and the shooting is more in touch...the manager mode is great i read one review where some noob was talking about points instead of currency..i have no idea what hes talking about you have pounds euros and the allmighty dollar..and another adidtion to manager mode is that you get a set salary cap that you can pay your players from instead of the money coming out of your salary which is sweet so instead of selling players so you can benefit from left over money you now can just get your whole salary and not have to worry about tevez getting paid 110,000 for a game..also what is so realistic about the manager mode is the exp points you cant custmize the point to the stats you want like in 09 for example...quick sim quicksim quicksim until you have enough experience points to boost rauls accel and sprint speed over 90..sorry kids but the players experience and stats all depend on how you play...so ronaldo aint scoring(or you cant score with ronaldo wich means you mite as well pick up ball with a string and a cup) guess what his form is gna decline and the only way you will bring him back is by passing scoring and playing good..and with that in mind it gives you more of a realism when making your starting line up...so now you have to use your subs just like in real life and if your sub plays good he might jump from 75 to 79 in one game..i could talk forever about how great this game is..its the only game i play its far better than any basketball and baseball game..yea thats right heres my decision on basketball games...look i get it you do 360s dribbles and tricks and sum reason ive done had so many chances to steal the ball i mean you litteraly can run strait into sumbody while dribbling and sumhow they still cant steal the ball..and baseball well the realism in baseball games is that its slowly declining in excitement just like real baseball....GET FIFA already what are you waiting for...o yeah PES sucks and if you dont know what PES stands for then good cause you havent dumbed yourself down to giving it a play..btw it stands for Pro Evolution Soccer..konami makes it i think its really bad..
