Everyone knows this game rocks, especially if you have the time to play multiplayer enough (which I don't). That said, multiplayer can be frustrating if you don't have enough practice time or your hand-eye reflexes don't compete with those of an Olympic Chinese table tennis player. Co-op addition is great, but you can't play the campaign in co-op. The story is ridiculous as they come, there is a scene where you're forced to shoot innocent people (could have been a cut scene), and if you don't play on veteran level, you'll be done in less than 7 hours. Gets four stars for being so well done overall.

This game was definitely worth the wait. It deserves all the hype it got before it came out because it is simply the best one yet. If you're reading this and want to try "Rogue Warrior" that came out on Dec. 1 on XBOX, save your money...it is so boring...but we may have that problem with shooters from now on after playing COD: MW2!

Great Campaign mode, however, the online multi-player is a lot different from Modern Warfare. All the weapons seemed to have been upgrade, and sometimes just seems ridiculous. Be prepared to be shot in the back many, many times.

The single player campaign mode is the bread and butter of this year's game. It is addictive, fun, and looks fantastic. The only downfall, is you switch between characters throughout the missions. Often times, I felt I was just along for the ride as opposed to being the main star. Other than that, the single player is awesome.

This simple is one of the best gaming experience you will have this year. The game is simple incredible. Ive played all the previous Call of duties and this is simple the best so far. While the single player is lacking coming in at about six and a half hours if your competent the multiplayer more than makes up for this. It is quite frankly the best multiplayer game in my opinion of all time. Ive put in more than four hundred hours into the first modern warfare and i think ill be putting even more into this one. The multiplayer is so in depth i can see myself playing for hours and not be bored. This game blows others like halo of the water. you will not be disappointed if you pick it up.To the people who dont play games online this might not be for you. As i stated earlier the campaign is short and doesn't really have any replay value. You also need an internet connection to enjoy the multiplayer and spec ops. while spec ops can be played single player you just wont have as much fun if you were playing with one of your buddies. While the single player is lacking this is no dought the best multiplayer game ever made.

Call to Duty - Modern Warfare is an excellent sequel in the Call to Duty franchise. I've enjoyed the game and play it frequently as a stress relief source.

I'm a casual gamer, so I played on novice. I thought it was pretty easy and went by pretty quickly, but I would imagine playing on regular or the other more difficult levels would change that quite a bit.

I don't really care about the tightness of the story, but it does seem to jump around quite a bit and it's not particularly easy to follow without really paying attention to the cut scenes. But that's the only quible I have about the game.

The special ops stuff is pretty cool. I only spent a litte time with it, but those are going to be missions that you'll end up spending gobs of time on because you want to do it just a little better next time.

Body action is very good. The AI is even better than COD4. The way the enemy runs, falls when they are shot, or crawl when they aren't quite dead yet, is very well done. I like the new blood splatter to indicate you've been injured. I also like that it seems to take longer to heal and that you die much more quickly than in COD4, or at least it seems.

The levels are graphically fantastic and I love the inclusion of civilians, taking the realism to the next level.

The sounds are good, but I found myself thinking the weapons sound too much alike, not as differentiated as in COD4, but I could be totally wrong about this so don't take this as a negative. I need to play more to get a better sense of that. Regardless, the sounds are excellent, from the gun fire to the radios playing to the civilians talking/screaming, to the footsteps, etc. All of those little touches make the experience that much more engrossing.

Online play is stellar. The maps are fantastic. Lots of variety, much bigger than in COD4, rivaling WaW, graphics are excellent. Seem to be more places to run/hide, giving you more opportunities to use the fighting still you like, whether it's run and gun or sniper, etc.

I could go on and on, but I'm not a pro, so I'll leave it at that.

In summary, if you like FPS, then you can't go wrong with this game and would be doing yourself a disservice not to get it. For $60, it's damn cheap entertainment considering how many hours and the variety of play you'll get out of it. Incredible playing experience overall and am looking forward to getting further into it to see what else it has to offer that I've not yet unlocked.
