We lost our Wii sports game that came with the console so were really happy to find the game on Amazon.com. The game works perfectly and came in a new sealed package. Our favorite is bowling and golf!

Im an indoor person and out of shape and overweight. Id love to be the kind of person who was fit and into sports but Im awkward and it hurts to get involved in anything. Not anymore!! I can have all the fun at sports in my own home! I love how the games are easy but challenging at the same time. I love the animation of the games. I love that I can wear what I want and get sweaty in my living room with nobody around and play for an hour at my own pace! My TV is no longer watched by me or my 3 kids. I got this game with Wii Fit and its the best money I have ever spent at one time! I highly recommend this product! If you get it, take it easy the first few days.. you wont be sore playing for hours the first day you get it but you wont be able to move your body for the next few days after if you overdo. It really is an excellent workout! And awesome fun too!

This game was purchased for our 3yr old grandson to play and boy does he like it. First thing in the door" Can I play Wii please?" and it keeps him busy for hours, when he plays the boxing I laugh like crazy, he likes all the games and he's pretty good at most of them. If there's young ones around I recommend Wii Sports.

Amazon's prices seem to be the best.

When we got the Wii, I thought that this would simply be one of those throw-aways games that you play once or twice to familiarize yourself with the game system than never pull out again. Boy was I wrong.

The game allows to you to play, somewhat simpler versions, of fun games such as golfing, bowling, tennis, baseball, and boxing. Although they are somewhat stripped down versions (for example all you do on baseball is hit and pitch), they are still fun and allow new people to the Wii and especially younger children the opportunity to figure out the Wii motions without being buried by a more complex game.

With the Wii, we also bought my 4 year old a couple Barbie games and although somewhat simple for my wife and I, the Barbie games were complex enough to bring my daughter to tears. However, after building her confidence by playing boxing and bowling, she finally mastered the controls such that she is now able to play "her" games w/o constant help.

Beyond being a somewhat easy instructive game, both my wife and I like playing it simply for the sport. I loved both bowling and tennis - both sports that I like in real life, but do not play often. In Tennis I was able to somewhat easily reach the 2000 pt master level, which did disappoint me, but its still a sport that I can play other people in w/o creaming them. Bowling was fun for all of us.

I also liked the mini-games that you could play to improve your skill level. My son especially liked playing them to compete for bronze, silver, and gold medals. Also there is a training/exercise mode that makes you go through some of the mini-games, sets a baseline for your level of "physical fitness" and then compares your score over the months as you do this training over and over. Although I thought that this was a somewhat simplistic barameter of more fitness, it does give you a good idea of your increasing skill level of the game as a whole.

Pretty fun and something that we've continued to pull out over and over even as we've bought other games.

Let me start by saying that I'm 24 years old. I'm from the 80's and grew up playing all the gaming systems. I'm a true gamer. I still have the SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, XBOX, and XBOX 360. The Wii is NOT set up to play like the XBOX 360, people. If you want hardcore, go for that. For people who want to get off the couch, or out of the gaming chair, and bounce around, the Wii is for you. I love Wii Sports. It's light-hearted fun. You can have a great time doing all of this, and really get a work out, which is how it's intended. This isn't made for lazy people who don't want to get off the couch. However, because of how it's set up, disabled people can easily play it without a lot of movement. I have two disabled parents, and they love Wii sports.

I just can't believe how much people are reading into this. It's light-hearted fun.

I find myself spending a great deal of time playing and having fun. While doing so I am sweating and raising my energy level. Great game

The first time I played the Wii was a terrible experience to the point of I hated it almost as much as the Gamecube (God, what an awful console that was). But then I got hands-on time with Wii Sports that has now peeked my interest in the system. It certainly isn't even close to being anywhere near perfect, but it will provide cheap thrills for hours of entertainment.

WHAT THE GAME IS: A game packaged with the Wii console containing sports like Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling, and Boxing. The games are very short and require minimal effort to be good at them.

GRAPHICS: This sure doesn't show off any capabilities of the Wii, it would have looked mediocre on last-gen consoles. The sloppy textures, the unremarkable childish animation, and the boring level designs bring down the experience at times.

MUSIC: Annoying and repetitive.

SOUND: The sounds match the sports they go along with, but it seems too quiet.

GAMEPLAY: The gameplay generally works fine, but there are times when it feels like it doesn't respond in time. Tennis works by simply swinging the Wii-mote like a racket. Baseball is the same situation, hold your Wii-mote like a baseball bat and swing. Golf, use the controller like a golf club and swing. With bowling, hold down the B-button and toss the move the controller like you'd move a bowling ball in real life. With boxing, it requires both the Wii-mote and Nunchuck and you frantically fling your arms forward like a boxer. The game itself feels too short to last a long time at all, the experience is generally better if you bring a friend along to play with you. The game will entertain you for awhile, but I look for beefier games with more content, and unfortunately Wii Sports misses the mark and is too short for its own good.

OVERALL: If you get a Wii, you're getting this game. It will entertain, and people who've never played games before will get a kick out of it, but more hardened gamers will look for an experience that provides more entertainment.

THE GOOD: The sports are easy to pick and play, and playing with friends.

THE BAD: The graphics, the music, and the game is too short.

Though this comes with the main unit, it is a must for learning the controler. You will master the games in a short time and need to move on but Great for 2 players at once, and is a good family game/party for all ages.

This is by far the best Wii game so far. We've tried other bowling and golf games, but this is the one we always come back to.

I'm a 54 yr, old grandma who never plays video games. I see the kids and grand children play and wonder how they do it. At christmas I went to my daughters to se my newest grand daughter and tried the Wii sports game and went throught each of the sports. Each one was fun and gave me quite a workout. Needless to say when I returned to my home I purchased my own Wii unit and games and am enjoying it. If it had not been for Wii Sports I would have never known how fun everyone of every age and condition can enjoy this game.

It was the game that came with the system, so I already knew it was a good game.

I really like this game. The best games in this series: Golf Tennis and Bowling. The boxing is ok, but the puches are not "real time" but are delayed for a second or two. The whole boxing game is sort of a workout with no real way to beat the other guy, rather then strategy all you have to do is swing-away until the guy is on the floor. The baseball will be cool if actualy fiedling was involved. All you do is pitch and bat. The rest of the games are excellent and lot of fun to play with family and friends. Hope you enjoy wii Sports!

I like all the sports on this game, but the boxing is what I keep coming back to. I can really work up a sweat on that one! And it's fun to compete with my husband on it (I kick his butt lol).
