The MotionPlus device is awesome, and adds a realism to the games that support it. "Tiger Woods 10" latest golf game is a good example.

I would not be without the MotionPlus, but any game that supports it has to be played with some real athletic ability to make it work properly. For example the golf game that is shipped with the Wii is fun to play....but very game like. The MotionPlus does nothing whatsoever because it is not supported. In the default game no real "life like" golf swing is needed to send the ball 250 yards down the fairway. The shipped Wii remote works fine without adding MotionPlus.

When using the MotionPlus in the Tiger Wood's game you must swing the club (remote) nearly as hard and as accurate as you would a real club, in the real world, in the real game, to get any effect from the device.

For real life golfers the MotionPlus is a must. For those that just want to play and have fun with no real effort - the MotionPlus is a waste of money!

This remote add-on gives new excitement for the possiblities on future Wii games. Easy to add on and not really noticeable as far as difference holding the controller with or without it.

This is a really cool device that's easy to install and gives more sensitivity and range of movement to the already "one of a kind" abilities of the wii-mote that set it apart from all the rest. I really see a difference in the new golf game on Sports Resort. I play real golf, and the way this remote works makes you feel like you're actually playing golf and hitting the ball. The controls are really life-like. When you swing the remote just like a real golf club, the results are right on target. If your swing is a little off, so is the ball, just like in real life. Works great with the other games I've tried it with also. Another plus is you don't have to take it off to play the old games...just leave it on all the time.

I believe that anyone who feels the Motion+ should be free needs to take five minutes to google "XBox 360 Natal"! When that FINALLY comes out, it is expected to cost more than $200... So keep that in mind the next time you step up to the tee and shank a drive because your club control is sub-par, all thanks to the Motion+.

Considering that the Wii is targeted to a younger audience, I believe the Motion+ adds a new level of fun to a system that already dominates its demographic!

First, I was amazed at how light weight the MotionPlus is! It doesn't hinder game play and makes the gaming experience much more realistic and fun.

Obvious title, I know, but the input device is useless wihtout the games to play.

And so I have the tennis, golf and Resort to go with this. And those come with extra MotionPlus, so I now can multi-play these games.

The fact that these games cannot be played without the MotionPlus should be noted.

The fact that the MotionPlus has its own sleeve to integrate it with the WiiMote means you will not be able to easily use the other WiiMote accessories (Steering wheel, racket add-on, etc). And you will probably have to remove it so you can fit the WiiMote in the charging station.

However, note that the Nunchuck does connect and work through the MotionPlus, even when the game is not using the MotionPlus

So, it is essential for the special games. And the games are significantly better for the extra accuracy it provides. But it's a nuisance in terms of its extra length and the fact it needs the cover fited to provide a robust connection.

I now have three, and so may have to get a fourth to complete the set.

But I resent having to pay for an "option" like this to play a game.

My Wii is getting expensive; MotionPlus, Balance Board, Nunchucks, batteries/chargers, extra WiiMotes ...

Got this with the Wii Sports Resort (which is awesome. Get it!!) I never played the original Wii Sports that comes with the Wii, so I don't know if my bowling accuracy was improved with the Motion Plus. I do know that no matter what, I suck @ golf. Why, oh, why, aren't there more games using this accessory? Not just sports games, but the rest of the Wii games, the RPG and adventure games. I hope there will be a lot more motion-plus games available, soon!!! If I have to risk carpal tunnel by shaking that Wiimote, at least make it worth my while.

This is RIDICULOUS.

The Wii Remote + Nunchuck combination is already the most expensive controller for home video game consoles, but now Nintendo expects me to buy MORE add-ons?

I have already spent $180 buying controllers and nunchucks for my Wii. I am not going to spend another $80 just because Nintendo did not make their controllers as sensitive as they should have the first time around.
