Since some of the other reviews already give some really in-depth overviews, I'll keep this brief.

I absolutely love the product. Despite being overweight and out of shape (about 60 pounds heavier than I should be and sit all day), I can use the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (and yoga mat) and go as hard or light on the effort as I feel up to doing. It has so much variety and so many options that I can see using this even when I hit my target BMI, weight, shape, and whatnot.

Neat features: we can weigh our cats! How cool?! My husband and I see messages occasionally prompting us to think about how the other is doing. We can see each other's high scores in the games. Even if you only have a few feet from your TV, you can STILL get in a good workout!

One wish? Okay, maybe two - I wish that it could track two balance boards/Wii controllers at the same time so my husband and I could work out together when we feel like it. I also wish the free-step aerobic activity had options to hear music through the game.

This was a present for our 16 1/2 year old daughter. She can't get to the gym during the school year and this has been a great option. She enjoys the exercise because it is so much fun to do. This is a fantastic program and Amazon had a great price-better than anything else we have seen!

I am very pleased with the Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board. What a wonderful way to help you to get exercise while in the oomfort of your own home. Because of arthritis I am limited as to which exercises I can do but with the Wii Fit, I can do most of the program. Best thing I ever bought myself........

Wii Fit is awesome! Definitely a work out and if you live in South Texas where it gets over 100 with 100% humidity 6 months out of the year, this is great to get exercise with out causing a heat stroke! My toddler and preschooler love it too and there are several games they can play. They love the bike riding and its so real. I would recomment this to everyone, even people who love the gym. If you want to work out and hate the gym, boring videos or lame ellipticals, this is for you!!!

I bought the wii fit plus after x-mas and am pretty impressed. I am 22 and I go to the gym every so often so I am not in terrible shape but after doing many of the exercises in the strength training portion I am feeling it! I like the fact that it is demonstrated and also that the board is detecting either your balance or the amount of weight that is being used while trying to do the move. In my opinion this is a great option for people who want to get in shape and feel that they don't want to be in a crowded gym or pay the monthly fees. It is also fun and keeps your mind off the strain you will sometimes experience while exercising. I definitely recommend this!!

The only problem with this 'game' (if you can call it that) is making sure that you find enough time every day to use it to maximize it's effectiveness! ;-) Only had it for a few weeks and already am seeing some improvements due to the regular exercise regimen.

Highly recommended as an alternative to ordinary games.

This is a must have for anyone with a Wii. My wife and I have daily workout routines and love the detailed step by step instructions by the on screen trainers.

My 3 year old loves the Obstacle Course and the various balancing games (great for cold, rainy days).

Real quick, we were worried about this because one of us was over the stated weight limit. A quick search on the magic of the internet and we found a trick: place a thin pillow or a piece of foam underneath the Balance Board and you can mess with the sensors enough that you can still do things like "Step" and "Hula Hoop". I like the rhythm kung fu, obstacle coarse, and rhythm boxing enough to do a daily workout, which is the whole point (for me at least). The free Ulysses Grant with the Wii and the Wii Fit Plus didn't hurt, either.

I exercise by myself and the fitness games and other features help me stay motivated. It is also easy to keep track of where I was, where I am, and where I would like to be fitness wise.

the wii fit is alot of fun and easy to set up and use. some of the other games are a little more challanging to set up and get going on because thete aren't any real instructions where to start or which button to push. BE AWEARE!!! the wii subitute remote will NOT work in the starwars swards. HAS TO BE THE REAL THING dont listen to the sales person who says that the generic remotes work the same THEY DO NOT FIT!!!!

I AM a gym-goer. So many of the reviewers here talk about being people who do not frequent a gym or get regular exercise. I'm not one of those. I am a 36-year-old mother of two. I have averaged 3 to 4 trips to the gym per week in the past. Now, I go zero times -- after 3 mos. of Wii Fit ownership, I've canceled my gym membership! I am actually getting a quality workout: I'm sore in whole new places, I'm never bored (my muscle memory is really getting challenged with all those choices), my progress, calories burned, & BMI are all kept track of, and it's all at home -- no babysitters!

Speaking of babysitters, I've always wanted to workout in the morning before work, but never could, being a single mother with kids to get ready for school. Now, it's no problem! Get up, workout, get ready for my day. It's a huge time saver AND MONEY saver!!! I sound like a plant -- I'm not -- I really do love this thing!

I love my Wii Fit Plus. I have lost eight pounds in the last month by working out and playing games with the Wii.

I bought the Wii Fit Plus along with the Wii console and an extra remote for us for Christmas. We are middle-aged, not gamers, looking for a fun indoor workout to do on dreary, cold, crummy days. We both work at a university, where we are largely sedentary, and need something we can fit into our schedules. This is it for me. I adore the Fit Plus. The variety of workouts and the new levels you can unlock ensure that it will never be boring. I like Skateboard Arena, Super Hula-Hoop, Island Cycling, all of the balance games (the Obstacle Course is crazy!), and running with my Mii (I put the remote in my pocket and run on my treadmill, and I can run farther than ever with the treadmill alone: I swear, it tricks your mind).

The yoga and strength exercises are great too: the balance board measures your center of balance and gives you a visual representation of what good balance should be, which ensures that you maintain good form (or at least know what it is and when you are off). Keeping yourself still enough to stay in the visible range works your core muscles and helps your concentration. The program keeps track of your fitness points and calories burned, as well as your weight and BMI if you choose, and lets you set goals for yourself. It charts your progress and (this seems silly, but it's very effective) cheers you on when you rack up fitness points and drop pounds!

Let's see: plodding along on a treadmill, watching the seconds drip by vs. your avatar running with a cute cat through a European-looking village, the sea off in the distance, passing waterfalls and bridges, hearing your footsteps hit the earth, when outside the temperature is 15 degrees and the ground is frozen. Then maybe a tightrope walk to work on your balance, some yoga poses, and a bit of boxing. Hmmmm, let me see.

Outside of the Wii console itself, this is one of the biggest breakthroughs in video game technology in a while. I love the fact that it's both fun and it gets you moving. You can use the board and the Wii Fit game to work out or just to have fun with the family. If you want to do both, you get fit credits for playing the games because you are moving and working out while you are skiing, boxing, riding a bike, flying like a bird, etc. The games on the Wii Fit Plus are a nice bonus too. My kids love playing it too.

I just received this for Christmas. I LOVE it!! The games are fun. I love the hoola hoop. I actually wear my heart-rate monitor while playing. I have had my heart rate up to zone 2!Perfect for burning fat!! I am an avid exerciser so I was quite impressed with the games I have played so far. Now not all of them will make you sweat but you will have an excellent time playing! Hope Nintendo comes out with more because I am definitely hooked!
