Tiger Woods 2010 is finally a game where if you know how to actually swing a club, you'll be better than a person that is good at clicking buttons. If you have the Motion Control Plus for your Wii, it makes this game as real as a video game can get. Everything in this game just works like a charm. I love it and I highly recommend it to any person looking for the real golf feel out of a video game. Even if you're not, this is just a fun game.

Purchasing the Wii Motion Plus brings this game on par with a new level of realism with the Wii Motion Plus capturing every nuance that your wrist has to offer. Want to fade your shot? Not a problem as long as you master the technique of spinning your wrist on a shot in the correct direction! Hitting straight can now be a challenge if you fail to keep from rotating your club during a swing!

The Wii Motion Plus controller is simply amazing in its ability to capture how you're holding your club and how you're swinging it. It certainly has brought Tiger Woods truly at a high level on the Wii platform to make you wonder why you would ever play it on any other console. This is what the Wii was made for and Electronic Arts finally "gets it."

Another fun little feature is the game's ability to take real weather data and apply it to the course that you're playing on. I even went to the trouble of verifying the actual weather...it's spot on.

Other fun features include disc golf which is fun for the whole family as well.

If you do decide to buy the game, try to get the Tiger Woods 10 Bundle which includes the Wii Motion Plus for $10 more. This is typically cheaper than getting the Wii Motion Plus on its own which normally retails for $19.99.

Overall, the game play of this title is great. The swing mechanics are the best I've seen for golf. The motion+ controller really works.

Starting off in 'My Career' you can try to earn your PGA tour card, and then compete with the best. Great local multiplayer is a lot of fun too.

The only complaint I have is with the online play. You don't get to see your opponent play - you can't taunt them or anything - there's little to no interaction with your opponent except you get to see a litte colorful ribbon where their ball is, and the score they post. You have 30 seconds to make your shot, so it is very quick. But without the ability to interact with your opponent, this isn't much different than just playing the PC. I wish the online play could be a little more fun and competitive. But if you have local friends and family, it can be a lot of fun. Overall, the swing mechanics and the game play is what matters, and it just plain works.

My husband loves this game. Very challenging which was not the case in other golf games. The kids and I love the other games but for someone who knows more about golf and wants more...This game is the one!

This game is amazing. There's a strong correlation between the fundamental golf swing positions and how this game tracks motion. I think it's actually eliminating some of my most common swing flaws. My tempo is better and my tendency to turn my wrists over is going away. It's not tracking my balance throughout my swing, so I may be getting lazy. Wii Fit has a golf feature that tracks balance though ... Anyway, this game is really great... and after the snow melts, I'll get to see if my swing actually improved.

Fun game! Able to "golf" with my brother from a different state at Pebble Beach. Only drawback is that you can't see each other's avatar while playing online... but the play control, graphics, and ability to do online play make the game a lot of fun!

The game was a little hard to get into. I bought it for my husband and I had to figure it out! He likes the idea of all the courses. It lets him have fun on the ones he would like and see if he can do better on the ones he knows. It takes longer to play and he doesn't have that much time right now. Maybe later. It is like playing on the course though.
