The second installment in the No more hero series exceeds the first game in terms of graphics and combat engine , but the bosses lacks alot of charisma and character plus its a bit shorter than the first one , but the overall fun and the inclusion of the 8-bit era of games adds a lot to this new installment

I hope they keep this series alive these two games are just the best. I only wish they could incorporate the motion plus to make use of the controls of the wii and less button mashing putting that all aside the game is just great

No More Heroes was one of my favorite wii games. This game takes everything that works from the first game, cuts off the fat, amps everything up a little and delivers one of the best wii games period. If you enjoy, violence, lightsabers, and humor, get this game.

PLEASE buy this game, i promise you, if you like blood, action and a twisted sense of humor and style (HARDCORE!!), you won't regret it!

Grasshoper Manufacture has stated this is the last we'll see from NMH on Wii, so support this game so we can hopefully see a sequel on this console, and even if it isn't this saga, let's prove third-parties there are lots of hardcore gamers on Wii so they can take MATURE risks on this console.

Great game that deserves plenty of credit for its originality and HIGH replay value. I recommend this game to everyone. You WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED! It is one of the Nintendo Wii's ALL-TIME BEST GAMES...period! Enjoy!

From Suda51 (Killer7, Fatal Frame 4), is the sequel the the smash cult hit on the wii. Travis Touchdown returns to claim his ranks in the association of assassins. But this time, he's armed with a double edged Kitana and some new friends (there are three addtional players in this game).

This game is a must for anyone who is a fan of trashy movies and cult cinema. It is especially one for Takashi Miike fans, but I shall not going into any deeper detail there..

This game should be number one on the wii (next to Tatsunoko Vs Capcom). Easily the best action series on the wii, and it must be great if it's able to spawn a sequel.

Forget Wii fit, this is the top game for the wii and should be top of the charts.

The soundtrack is also kick a$$!

I agree with everyone that wrote any positive review for this game...it's definitely original, clever, and funny with an old school kick. I love the story line, the moves, the weapons...everything!! You need to at least give this game a chance, chances are you won't be sorry.

I agree with the general praises that other reviews here have given this game. It is everything the original NMH was and much, much more. As much as I forgave the overworld's shortcomings in the original, streamlining everything by eliminating it has proven to be addition by subtraction.

That, and the NES inspired games to earn money are hilarious, and a fantastic bridge experience between those that would deem themselves 'old-skool' (like me) and those that like the current-gen visuals and out-of-this world carnage in the main game. Is there a single mis-fire in the game? Well, the cut-scenes can be a little framey at times, and...well...yeah. That's it. If you liked the original, then you OWE it to yourself to play this one. More of what made it a cult phenomenon, and less of what made it feel incomplete.

Oh yeah, and 51 bosses, to boot.

Start climbing those ranks all over again. :D

This is one of my favorite games ever. I never played the first one, but im totally hooked now. There is nothing better than slicing people in half and watching their blood spurt in all directions while travis swears at them.

Words can't describe the joy I had when playing this game. When I am done playing, I may find it to be the best game on the Wii. The boss fights are over the top and zany. The graphics are great. The gameplay had more depth than the first. The writing is sharp. The story is dark. Did I also mention that I am only one hour into the game. Don't contemplate if you should get No Mores Heroes 2. It should be a matter of when in the next few weeks I should get it.

Pretty nice I got the game the day it released. Dusted off the wii and started playing,at an instant I loved it. Not only did Suda throw in a parody of Cloud (FF7), but he introduced the game very well for those who haven't played the first (Should buy it if you haven't played it).

Unlike the first one, you don't get to drive and your jobs aren't in 3-D. The jobs you have are like old arcade games that will keep you off your real task for hours.

The beam katanas are back with a couple of new ones, there's a new katana that has slow powerful slashes and gets longer the more your ki goes up. There's also dual katanas that have fast slashes and devastating combos.

If you are looking for a violent game that gives you a laugh at the same time, get this game.

PROS:

+ Graphics improved (Good for being on a Wii)

+ Longer gameplay

+ Playing arcade games to get stronger and money is loads of fun.

+ You charge the beam katana the same way :)

+ More stuff (Clothes, katanas, activities)

CONS:

- Camera will SOMETIMES go against you

- I can't think of any more cons

No More Heroes returns with a vengence. Gone is the clunky free roam overworld you now just select wich location you want to travel to on a overworld map. Starting at rank #51 theres even more insane boss battles then the original. Jobs are now turned into SNES style games that are designed pretty well and will bring back some memories if your into old school gaming. Combat is essentially the same as the original with some additional power-ups and ability to interchange beam katanas on the fly. Game has an excess of sick..mature..dirty humor and style.

my own thing there was downfalls and raise in the game to didn't have to pay for missions anymore up didn't ride your bike as much down the side jobs where in between the side char didn't really need them if only playing them for one mission (Travis bro)and two mission (shinobu)but in the end it looks like NMH3

Like the game before it, NMH 2 is a striking example of what extreme creativity can deliver. This game is completely different from anything you've ever played. Suda 51 fans will know what to expect out of this one, a game like no other that is hugely entertaining. People not familiar with his work would do well to pick it up to see what the fans are loving about this guy's games. I cannot emphasize enough how completely original this game is, just like Suda 51s' past games.
