I have two reservations about this game: the controls and the aesthetics. The controls can be frustratingly inaccurate at times, and certainly do not use the Wiimote to its full capacity. As far as the visuals go, most games take place in either a murky arcade or in a murky college rental. Horseshoes and lawn darts take you out to the back yard--the most appealing setting--but are unfortunately among the weakest games. That said, my four year old likes these games, as will most younger children, I believe. Plus, it's a bargain--no small thing these days.

This game should be banned by the AMA due to causing the proliferation of carpal tunnel. Although fun, every single one of the games has almost the identical hand movement - whether underhand or overhand, you are always moving the Wii remote with the same motion. After playing with my son for about 30 min, I had to take a break and my wrist still aches tonight.

The games are pretty good - although some of them are pretty finicky with a fine line between throwing too hard and too soft. Lawn darts (and I assume horse shoes, which we haven't tried yet) is hard to judge as the dart goes up off the screen and then hits - you just have to guess how hard to throw until you get it right. Skiball seems almost too easy - I just threw the ball as often as I could with a nice, straight motion and I could regularly score above 1000 (which I can't do in real life). The football, toss on the other hand, was almost impossible - at least the first time around.

So for $20, this is probably a good value. Lots of different games, multi-player tournament mode, and the ability to play for tickets to buy more characterization tools are all bonuses. Just be careful how much you play. In my opinion, no matter how touchey the controls or how difficult the game at the onset, it isn't anything that you can't improve on to the point that the game can be quite enjoyable. Just know going into it that you aren't getting some polished $49.99 game and you won't be disappointed.

OK, Game Party 2 for the Wii

As if Game Party 1 left off with unanswered issues.

If you are older than a fetus, you will be bored with this game within minutes of putting the CD into your Wii system.

Even kids now-a-days need more gaming challeges than this CD could ever offer.

If you spend your hard earned money on this CD, don't blame me.

Check out EBAY, you'll probably find my listing to recoop some of my cash.

We had fun playing all the games in this package. It added to the quality time with family. There aren't any instructions we could find with each game but with trial and error we figured out how the remotes had to be held to play each game. ie...hold the remote like a dart to play that game. duhhhhh.

I bought this for my two 30 year old sons and my husband but with my grandchildren in mind also. they all played for hours on Christmas day and the older "children" played well into the night both Christmas night and the next day. It was a huge hit.

We recently purchased the Wi system, our grandson already had this game. We went to several stores to purchase it and all the stores were out of it. I went to my pc and found it, ordered it, paid for it and a few days later it showed up at my doorstep. We love the fact of your availability.

The children liked the game but the adults had a few complaints namely the fact that it's just so hard to control. No matter how hard you try it's almost impossible to get consistent results with the controller.

I would instead advise you to save your money on this one and try out Celebrity Sports Showdown you'll find it to be a lot more fun.

This was pretty fun game. I loved the lawn darts and the trivia game. But it has several options of different games and skill levels. Pretty fun.

We bought this game on sale knowing little about it or the first one. It was suprisingly fun. Much more so with a group. The tournament option is nice. The games are a bit repetitive when playing alone, but overall it's a good party game.

This is a great game for families, especially wii beginners. we purchased our wii this year & have a 7 year old daughter. we wanted to get some games that would be eaiser for her & games that we could all play as a family. Game Party 2 did just that. While my husband takes more interest in single player, my daughter & i often battle head to head. This game is a great break from the usual action games! up to 4 players on most of the different sports allows more competition. I would not suggest this for all age groups, but more like 5-10 years old.

GP2 has all sorts of games which hit the interests of different family members. Everyone has their own favorite. Have recommended it to others and they have bought it and are enjoying it as well. Wish you could incorporate your own Mii's though.
