I actually bought this for my sister and talked to her recently, after she had time to play it a while. She says that it is great fun and she's learning a lot. The only bad point, like other games, is that the writen instructions aren't very helpful and she gets excited sometimes and forgets what she's been told on the screen. But, then, she's older than me!

Great game. We love to cook in our house and are food network fans so of course this game fit our needs for the wii.

Great game! Our grandaughter (9) loves it! She really hates it when the judges "die" after sampling the dish she cooked :) She is actually learning to cook from the game!

Got the Wii game Cooked or Be Cooked for my two teenage granddaughters. They had to try it out as soon as it was opened. They thoroughly enjoy it. Great entertainment and good clean fun, also promotes physical activity.

My 9 and 11 yr. old daughters are food network fans. They received this game for Christmas and so far they love it. They have not unlocked all the recipes so we don't have experience with the complaint of some of the other reviewers.

I received this game for Christmas. We've played it one time and are not interested in playing it again. Isn't worth the money. Buy "Order Up" instead. It's a fun game and a heck of a lot cheaper.

I got this game for my 11 and 12 year old daughters for Christmas. They love cooking and they love this game. After playing the game they were cooking and advised me to do something. I asked them how they knew that and they said from this game.

My granddaughter loved this game. I searched the local stores and on line and finally found it on Amazon.com. Received the item in a timely manner and was happy with the purchase.

I got this for my 12 y/o grandson, who has been a Food Network junkie since practically before he could speak full sentences. He likes this Wii game just fine and has shared it with several friends. After reading all the other reviews before purchasing I guess it's perfectly OK but not an earth-shaking phenomenon in Wii games. We were looking forward to actually making some of the recipes included in the game, but most of them are pretty basic things that my grandson and/or I have been making for years - like quesadillas (no brainer guys) salsa and guacamole. But overall we have had a lot of fun with it and physically manipulating the Wiimote to chop, stir, grate, etc is quite challenging at times.

I really enjoyed this game, but after about 2 hours of play, I was pretty much done with it. The 30+ recipes thing is not true. There are only 12 dishes to make, and I had finished the game in only a few hours. I wish there was more to the game, as it is very enjoyable and very helpful with tips on cooking techniques.

I really liked this game, I just wish they had added more content. 30+ recipes is a bit deceiving, as they count all the parts of one meal as separate recipes. For instance, pancakes with bacon counts as two recipes and Cheese Quesadillas with Tomato Salsa and Guacamole counts as three. As you can imagine it doesn't take long to work through all the recipes in the game.

Other than how short it was I had no other complaints and still think it was worth purchasing. The game play is fun and I actually picked up quite a few good tips! I liked that the recipes were real and would actually work in my own kitchen. I recreated the pancakes with nutmeg in real life and they were delicious! Hope they make a sequel - just with way more content.

My daughter is having a lot of fun with this game and she is even trying some the recipes in our real kitchen.

I am only giving it four stars because the price is too high for only a limited number of recipes and the game does not have an option to reach a higher level (something like Iron Chef). Food Network "competitive programs" like Chopped and Iron Chef itself should be made available in a Wii game format.

I liked that I could play this with my son. I think he, at 14, picked up a few cooking tips, but I'm an experienced cook and there wasn't anything noteworthy there for me as far as cooking or recipes went. It took me a while to pick up the game, but it was fun learning how to play it. My son jumped right in and was beating me in no time. The controls were easy enough, I think I'm just getting old. :)

I felt like it was a good family game. We played it a good bit for about 2 weeks, then he beat it, and lost interest. It's fun enough when you are playing it, but it wasn't overly memorable for us after a while.

Good family fun though, and I noticed my son's interest in REALLY cooking perked up after he got this. I have to give it a 4 for that reason alone.

I bought this game for myself, but my 9 year old son loves it. He says he's cooking dinner for us now...even though it's on the Wii!! ha/ha

This purchase of Cook Or Be Cooked Wii game was really cool. It requires a little practice, but all the while very fun to play by yourself or with another friend. I played it with my boyfriend and he broke a sweat afterwards...hahaha. Playing this game requires both hands and you're constantly moving. Overall, this game was super fun and challenging.
