Sorry to say but this game is not very good at all and I wish that I had not purchased it but, some you win and some you loose it is just to much work to find all the exercises.

This game was a bummer. The menus/interface were unintuitive. When I actually got to an exercise, I found myself doing 3 reps of 4-minute stretches (yes, that's for a total of 12 minutes of the same rolling-around stretch), b/c the exercise set included 3 reps of *everything* lined up in it. It was kinda dumb. Pilates is supposed to be about quality movements, not speedy movements, and yet, the game penalized me for not moving quickly enough for it. It was kind of bizarre, really. Overall, I was really disappointed, and regret making the purchase.

I love this!!! I find the Hard "Core" set to be the perfect way to complete your work out with EA Sports Active-that does not focus on the core at all.

Edit--now that I've been doing this work out for over a week, I would still give it a good review, but the game does have some faults. The senor bar is not accurate with your movements. Now, the sound goes down so I don't have to hear that I am getting red dots. If you can overlook this fault-which should have been fixed prior to the release of the game, you do get a good workout. I've noticed that my abs are getting flatter, and as stated above, I do this after completing the EA Sports work out.

...to "My Fitness Coach"

there are too many pauses when doing your workout

you constantly need to use your wiimote

if only "My Fitness Coach" had a pilates section....

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about - the game is easy to use and has more than 25 activities at 3 different levels, I'm loving the game. I found a good blend of routines and the tool to build my own routines. If you are interested in pilates on your Wii, this is the game to buy!

I came to Amazon to buy one for my sister, who lives in Nevada, and I thought to write this review.

I had one of Daisy's Windsor Pilates DVDs a while ago, and I liked it, so I got this game to use with my son's Wii. I'm not much for games, but Pilates I know!

I thought this would be a fun way to get back into it, and it was! It's really easy to follow, and it even has tutorial videos on how to do each exercise (which was helpful for me, which are kind of like watching a DVD. Once you watch the tutorial, Daisy herself does the exercise with you, and you follow her movements. The more closely you match her timing, and the more perfectly you do the exercise, the better a score you get. Daisy talks to you as you do the workout, reminding you to concentrate on the muscles and if you're going too fast or too slow, helping you get the timing right. I like the music too, it's really calming.

I guess I should talk about how the game works. To do the exercises, you use both the remote thing and the board that came with Wii Fit. Well, not at the same time, some exercises use the board, others the remote. I think it said the board is optional, you can still do everything if you don't have it, but I have the board. It tracks your movements as you do each exercise, to make sure you're doing it right.

It was really perfect for me, starting out again in Pilates. There's a lot of different exercises, split over three difficulty levels. In the beginning, you pick one of the easy workout sets and follow the exercises, but then you can build your own sets, and make it as hard or easy a workout as you want. I've built my own sets, and am up to the second difficulty level now. :)

The whole thing takes place on a really pretty resort island. You can take a tour of the resort, and do exercises in each area. Plus, when you build your own workout sets, you get to pick which place on the island each exercise can be done in. I like the Island the best, its kind of like set off from the main resort, out in the water.

Oh, you can also change Daisy's outfit, she has a lot of pretty outfits you can choose from, which was fun. I'm kind of torn between the white and pink one or the purple one. Oh, you can also zoom in and out and move around while doing the exercises with her, which is really helpful. I was having a hard time getting the Bicycle timing right until I did that, I turned the view to the side and then I just moved my legs like Daisy was doing and I got it down perfect.

Like anything, even a fitness DVD, you get out of Pilates what you put into it, and this is game no different. If you're serious, I say go for it.

I was excited for this game as I've enjoyed Pilates in the past and I like Daisy Fuentes. Biggest disappointment was that there are only about 12 exercises in the whole game! That said, the graphics and game overall are better than Jillian Michael's Wii game, but it leaves the player wanting more variety. I will give it another shot before I decide to sell it or not.

I was really looking forward to getting this Pilates workout for the Wii and I tried it 2x, didn't have the slightest idea what I was supposed to so and I have recently traded it in at Game Stop. I love Wii Fit and Wii Active but this I'll pass on.

My doctor recommended pilates for me. I didn't want to embarrass myself at a gym. This product helps me do the moves correctly and work at my own pace with expert advise.

I recently got into Pilates with my wife. We picked this game up and i'm now sore! My wife and I now feel compelled to match Daisy's form in the 28 activites... we're trying. Best part is that we get the Pilates workout without going to class. We strongly recommend... Thanks Daisy and Wii

I like this game as an alternate with another workout game or two. I am new to pilates and I found the exercises easy to follow and I feel I get good results in terms of flexibility & toning. I alternate it with something with cardio (EA Sports) and more weight-based toning (Jillian). I started with just this game and I noticed increased core strength right away. It may be basic, but it's a nice part of a varied routine if you want to "surprise" your muscles with different types of workouts and keep yourself from getting bored. I agree, the game doesn't always recognize the movements of the remote, but mostly it works ok technically. I have worked out at home for over 15 years with different equipment or DVDS and I find this to be fun & different.

While there are some good points in many of the other reviews and I wish I would have bought that game over the internet so I could have gotten it at half the price I paid I still feel like it was a good value. I don't have experience with pilates and while at time I got very frustrated with the scoring on the game because it said I wasnt doing the exercise at the right pace even though I was, I felt like I got a good lower body workout. Yes there are only ten exercises, and if you have a lot of experience with pilates it may be too simplistic for you. However if you are a beginner looking to work your abs this is a good game that will help you accomplish your goals for much less than you have probably spent on another game or dvd that did squat. I would enjoy if they did a sequel with more exercises.

I like it! a great complete Pilates workout at a very reasonable price. Select among more than 25 activities! or just follow Daisy. Stunning environments. Just what I needed.

This is a great way to get started doing pilates. I'm a beginner and it has helped strengthen my core muscles in a short time. It has helped me to loose some inches around my middle. I have recommended this to my friends and family.

I'm here today because this game has an average rating of 2.5 stars. WHAT?! Okay, show of hands: How many people who rated over one star helped develop and/or sell the game?

Right. That's what I thought.

It's abhorrent. It's a waste of money. It's worth roughly a dollar. Actually, no: if this were a $1 iphone app with only ten exercises, I still wouldn't pay for it!

Thank goodness I only rented it. I'm an exergamer: I love My Fitness Coach, DDR, Gold's Gym Cardio Fitness, and yes, even Wii Fit Plus. I don't love this. $30 for ten exercises? What? How would you like to be charged $3 for stretching?

And no matter how hot her outfits are, no matter how pretty the scenery, how long do you think you can do the same ten exercises before you quit from boredom?

This kind of shovelware preys on entry-level casual gamers who don't check reviews before they purchase something. It's shameful.
