My best friend enjoys playing mini golf games, me not so much. We have purchased or rented several other golf games out there for the wii and have only been disappointed. The controls were either tricky or the game itself seemed like we were playing golf and not mini golf.

Well this one was perfect. The settings of the games were excellent, it felt like we were on a mini golf course, and each one was unique and very well crafted. The controls too felt like we were really golfing.

The cheap price tag on this game helped it out too. Out of all the golf games we have tried this one hands down offers the best bang for your buck.

I rented this game to test it out prior to buying it and I was glad that I did. Although there are many parts to the game that I liked - collecting coins to buy new clothes and such was fun for the kids - the actual game play I thought was too hard. There are several areas where we felt it was impossible not to lose your ball in the water or other hazard and other areas that had my 4 yr old in tears and me and my wife frustrated because a course was just not something a child could play w/o constant help. You start out with one area where the courses are - theoretically - easier, but that's not how we felt. Unless you really desire to unlock all kinds of different clothes or putters, the game seems kind of pointless to me.

We enjoy playing this game. It is a great family game, our 4 year old and 7 year old enjoy playing this game as much as we do. It is nice to play a game the whole family enjoys and can play together (4 player mode). The mini games inside the courses are a nice addition.

This game was fun for the first few time. Already boring and not challanging enough.

I got this game for my nephews and while the older boys enjoy it, the five year old really loves it. That kid will spend hours with this game! For some very entertaining family fun, this game is worth the money.

I'm 19 and I got this game for my B-day and I have to say that we played this for hours. Everyone from a 9 year old boy to 54 year old woman loved this game. The graphics are nice and the courses are loads of fun. Single player looks fun, but without friends and family to play with I can see this not being as fun.

I bought this game for my family for Christmas. My two sons, 14 and 4, both love it and we have had a great time playing it together.

My grandson loves it. He can play it as it is freinfly for a six year old. Very good purchase and was reason I purchased it.

This is a fun game for the whole family. Some of the holes are somewhat difficult (at least for me); however, the game keeps you interested even if you are waiting for your turn (you can annoy the other players while they are taking their shot). Hours of fun...you won't want to stop playing!

My daughters (aged 8 and 5) both enjoy this game, but my 5 year old enjoys it the most. We play as a family and it's not as active as other games, but it's still enjoyable.

Very fun, challenging game. Hard enough for the adults to enjoy but, my 4yr old grandaughter can still play it.

I thought this game was easy enough for kids and challenging enough

for an adult. Generally lots of fun.

Carnival Games MiniGolf has awesome boards BUT it is very challenging even for adults. Even the beginners holes are very difficult to get a hole in one or even a par on them. Sometimes the game is more frustrating then fun.

Cons: A lot of the boards have no skill to them BUT they are more luck based. Here are some examples of what I mean by that: in one of courses you have to chose the correct path out of about 7 paths or your ball goes off course and into the lava, in another course you have to hit the ball into a flower by bouncing it off of a ramp and into another flower below or you have to start all over OR there is always another course that you have to break the eggs in order to find the hole which is almost impossible to do in only a few tries. There is no easy way to hit the ball...it's either you barely hit it or you hit it too hard. The narrator is also very annoying throughout the game.

Pros: The game boards are very creative and imaginative. You can unlock more game courses and items. You can play with more than one person and the graphics are decent. There are also some mini games that you can play within some of the courses which is different and fun.

Overall I give this game 3 stars. It's a decent game for the price But it could use some work. I suggest renting this game first to see if you and your family like it enough before you buy it.
