This game is soooo fun and can be easy and also chalenging. I love the infastructure mode where you can play on the internet if you own a wifi hotspot. You can play people from around the world. It's pretty insane. I'm terrible on the online mode. But the only hard part about it is that the controls, to look, you press the triangle, circle, x, and square buttons. And to move forward, backward, strafe from right to left, you have to use the analog. But the buttons are further apart than the arrow keys, so it makes it a little more chalenging. But there is a southpaw control layout if your good! Overall, I'd give this game a five out of five because for one, I'm not a harsh judge, and two, there are the coolest graphics I've ever seen for the psp, and three, I love too kill stuff and if you're in the same league, then you will LOVE this game. If you are reading this review, I am totally giving you my advise, BUY THIS GAME!!!

Ok people let's get serious! This game rocks and this game sucks!

1. Take off the red crosses and put the game on hard. Then you got yourself a real World War II shooter. It will be more like Brothers In Arms: D-Day but with alot better graphics. If you keep the crosses on and put it on easy you can probably run through it in about 4 hours and then It won't be any fun.

2. Nothing new. Same old run and gun. Has only colt 45., a luger, Thompson Machine Gun, MP 40,and a Grewher Sniper Rifle. And guess what boys and girls you get to use a bazooka!!! Lame!

3. Horrible Story. Wait?! did it even have a story? I seriously doubt it. The music is just the same from the orignal games. It's good music but now it's just getting annoying.

4. Strong Multiplayer. Good Idea. No Vehicles?

5. Whatever Happend to Stealth and Strategy? Does Tom Clancy on the rights or something?

6. There should have been some parachute landings like Vangaurd and Airborne. That would have kind of made it more interesting.

7. Where did Battlefield 1942 Go?

8. I felt pushed all the way through it. I wan't options people! OPTIONS!!!

9. If you wan't a World War II game with options try Commandos Strike Force for the PS2, but just warning you it is difficult.

10. I love Medal of Honor and I really can't get enough of it. I know i was hard on it but i still gave it 5 stars. It was just helpful criticism. Hopefully EA can take it. It is fun though for a handheld. and it has great graphics. I wish they would remake Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor: Underground for the PSP. Those were great games and awsome stories!

This game had the feel of Medal of Honor: Frontlines for the PS2. For this reason alone, I absolutely adore it. The whole game is driven by one mission instead of a series of battles and it not only has amazing graphics but also a fairly good story for a WWII game.

i love playing this game. it is fun with a challenge on campaign mode. but it is not to challenging to a point where you cannot beat it. i love playing online. i met some new friends and love playing with some friendly competition.

Before you buy this game, you need to know one thing: this is basically the original Heroes, with a few things thrown in. If you already own the original Heroes, the only reason why you should buy this game is for the online play, which I will get too soon.

I've always been iffy about World War II shooters, because they always feel the same to me. Call of Duty on the PSP was an OK game, but never really lived up to the amazing impact of the previous games. I have to admit, at first this game came across to me as just another standard and tried-and-true shooter. But as you play through the game you actually want to get those unlockables, you actually want to get those medals, etc. If a first person shooter is missing in your library, this is a very worthy one to fill in that spot.

Graphics - 9/10: The character models, guns, and overall environments are obviously a step up of the previous Heroes. It definitely pushes the limits of the PSP. The only thing that I found wrong was the character animations were lacking. When you kill someone (especially online) the person sometimes just stands their and disappears. And grenades don't send someone diving or keeling over, but they just get it and fall to their feet. Kind of irked me.

Sound - 10/10: Obviously the games strong point. Music, voices, gunshots, explosions... this has got it all.

Gameplay - 8/10: I found myself occasionally wanting the dual analog of the PS2, but the controls are very tight. Although, sometimes just feels to much of that generic FPS feel.

Depth - 7.5/10: The campaign is utterly short, should take about 2 to 4 hours, depending on the difficulty, but online play is where it's at. Up to 32 people (including you) in one map.

Overall - 8/10

The bottom line of all of this is that this is a very steady and strong first person shooter. Online play is easily the strongpoint of it. It's phenomenal. If your missing a first person shooter in your library, you should definitely consider picking this up.

It took me about 3 hours to complete the whole easy campaign and overall it was quite fun. I thought that the campaign was too short and the ending wasn't very good. The multiplayer is horrible though

Medal of honor is a first person shooter world was two game.

Before every mission, they tell you your objective by throwing down pictures and hearing a naration, it was very annoying, like really dumb. With the exception of the first mission, all the missions are long, but not fun at all. I beat the game, but I wasn't having fun, I guess I was hoping for some sort of improvement through the game but it never happenned.

The health style is like Halo or Rainbow six, if you can avoid fire for a few seconds, your back to full health, I like that, but it means alot of shooting, then hiding, shooting, then hiding. Where as with a health bar, you may as well just go for it because your amount is predetermined.

The gameplay wasn't addicitve, I had no urge to keep playing.

For some reason, I bought the first game (I found it used for ten bucks) and it's so much better, everything I ever wanted from medal of honor. Fast, easy to understand objectives, and very fun. THe only thing the sequel improves on and very minorly is graphics. Get the first one, the second one is garbage.

I appologize for the "poor" review....the game was ordered for my nephew, and even though he was the one who ordered it, I just think the PSP, or any other type of game should be a "little" less violent. I feel kids shouldn't be exposed to such violence specially for a 13 year of boy.

I suggest you guys put a little more games out there that promote something else then violence, bulling and guns specially for teenagers which is a very difficult age to deal with already.

Sincerly,

CM

Did you want to know why Electronic Arts, maker of this game, is trying to buy Take Two Interactive, maker of the Grant Theft Auto games? Well, play GTA Liberty City or Vice City Stories for the PSP then play this junk game, Metal of Honor. Although the graphics are good, the game play limited, boaring and more defined by what you cannot due. No, you cannot get into that truck, you cannot get into that car, you cannot take that machine gun with you, you can not go back the way you came, you cannot get over the hill next to you, you cannot climb over that six inch tall rock (on anyting else)and you cannot pick up more weapons (2 only). You can go only ONE way -- it is a closed one-way map -- you have NO OPTIONS. If you have ever played the GTA games, you know how great the open map games are. This is not one of them. There is only ONE way to do any mission. Some of the mission are timed and are so difficult that they are not fun (my job is aggravating enough, I am not interested in aggravating games). I am sure there are many better games you could spend you $[...] on.

I was ecstatic when I saw this game. A first-person shooter for the PSP! I thought to myself. When I got this game however, it was more than disappointing. The single player missions are pretty much the definition of bland and boring, and the last level relies solely on luck and will take about a hundred tries before you can complete it. But I thought to myself, hey, this game is known for it's multiplayer, so I guess that will make up for the multiplayer. Wrong! The maps are terrible, most are to big or confusing and you will spend most of your time simply looking for the other team. Also, all of the interesting weapons built into the map (machine guns, artillery, etc.) are gone in multiplayer. The only respectable out of all six is Monastery. Then there is the problem with the targeting reticle; it is so huge that pretty much the only thing you can do is place it in your enemies general vicinity and hope for a hit. Head-shots are pure luck, with no skill involved. The weapons are terribly unbalanced as well, with some weapons being so terrible, they will almost never be seen. Then there are the sniper rifles... A sniper gun is supposed to 1-shot, or at least be more damaging than some other guns, right? Wrong again, the sniper guns in this game are horribly weak, rendering them useless. Oh, and forget about head-shots with one. Everyone is wearing a helmet which effectively eliminates snipers as any kind of threat. One of this games smallest, yet extremely annoying problems, is the movement and turning. Even with the turning speed turned to full, your character will move like molasses moving uphill in January... with crutches. Then, perhaps the second most frustrating thing about this game is the hacker/cheater problem. Nine tenths of the games you join will have hackers in them, zipping around in the air firing their bazooka on everyone (enemies and team members alike) below them. This is all the more frustrating because of this games final, and number one most annoying game-breaking trait: it's scoring system. For each death, you will lose one point, for each kill, you will gain one point. This may seem fine, but then wait until you hear that your overall score can drop into the negatives. Along with the hacker problem, and the almost pure luck required to make a kill, this horrible trait makes playing this game only slightly better than drilling your eyes out with a power tool. Take my advice, don't buy this broken husk of a game, buy Syphon Filter Combat Ops instead. You will save $10 and you will own the best multiplayer game ever released for the PSP.
