This game was bought for my older son, who happens to be 30. He is an avid game player and loves this game. Seems to play it all the time.

This game is one of the best games for psp I have played. I am just talking about the game in whole. But you pick it apart and look at the details....and it becomes a different story. Everyone complains about this but the game length is probably 5-8 hours. It depends on how you play it.

I made the game last because I went out of my way for stealth. It doesn't get too boring doing the stealth because there is so many different ways to do it. Everyone says there is no element of stealth, but that is not true. You just have to look for it.

The AI in ACB are messed up in the head. There can be two guards standing watch over an opening and you can assassinate one of them without being noticed at all. Sometimes they even look at you when you do it.

The combat can get a little dull at times, but you just have to switch it up. Instead of using the sword all the time, try the throwing knife. Or if combat is just too easy and you think you are a complete master at it, then try fighting 6 guards with just your hidden blade. See how good you are then. Just switch it up and you will have fun again.

Running around the streets is not very effective unless you want every guard in the whole city after you. Well, at least at the beginning. 3/4 of the way through and you can actually run around the streets most of the time. Sometimes the guards get mad and chase you, but not often.

The graphics are stunning for a psp game. They look like a good ps2 game graphics. I am impressed by them.

This game is great. I would recommend it to anyone that likes these kind of games.

I've no complain about the graphic or story but the game control is hard to manage. Sometimes, i want to climb the wall, and it ends up jumping around. I so hate it especially during a timing mission. Stop playing after few times.

I wish I could get past a certain level on this game - which just goes to show me how long it's been since I've played a game that has been both challenging and entertaining. Sad to see that it went on sale in stores right after I bought it. But still, it's worth adding to any PSP collection.

I don't care what people say, this game is pretty cool: Altair on a psp: pretty awesome. Other than that, it really is a downer. Your practically invincible, which kind of sucked, as the AI doesn't think very well, which is why. Nonetheless, when you play, its pretty easy to get killed if you don't have a practiced hand, usually its best just to stick to throwing knives. One thing they could have done was have a multi-player where an assassin has to take care of 1-3 targets without dying or without authorities finding the assassin, which would have been awesome, but I digress: this is about what the game is, not what awesomeness it could be.

The graphics are pretty good, some of the programming got sloppy, and there was several points that I couldn't figure out. Some of the choreography was pretty horrible because it didn't match up. say Altair does a counter attack, we'll say if the person is close he will, let's say knock a guy over, it will go right through his own body: real easy programming error. Alot of the clothing simulation was good until you realized Altair putting his foot through the cloth and his head through his hood.

Story wise, just forget it: this is all about gameplay: which is okay: everything is really small in comparison to AC1 and 2.

All the same moves as AC1, just a few excluded.

Graphics were pretty devastating. I the only person that looks any good is Altair, but it sucks almost downright bad.

The only good that I like about it is a psp system game where you can play Altair on the go. other than that, this game sucks

This is another fine game for the franchise. At first I thought it would be too "small" since it's on the PSP & I'm used to playing AC on the "big" screen (PS3) but you don't even notice that, the game is very vivid, the color sharp, the action all there. The best part is I can take it with me, will always love that. All in all this game is alot of fun, and more adventures that feature Altair is great.

This game is awesome. It explains the time after the events of Assassin's Creed 1. It also hints to how Altair started the bloodline that leads to Ezio and Desmond. Game is like the first one only for the psp. If you have assassin's creed 2 for ps3 you can link this game to it and unlock some weapons. This game is my favorite psp game and this game will basically make you forget your playing it on the psp.

While not my favorite of this francise it is a good game. Hard to get used to the PSP controls and screen size but overall I really enjoyed this bit of the story and the game was definatley worth the play through.

1) The gameplay is better than Assassins creed 1 on the consoles - though it would have been pretty hard to do worse after all this time.

2) Without the second analog the game lacks the fluidity of AC1 though - but it is still well done.

3) Decent length by psp standards

battle scenes are not all that great you have to counter attack most of the time ok but could have been better

Assassins Creed Bloodlines is a great example of taking advantage of the psp's hardware and working within the confines of the system.First things first i have to say the voice acting is pretty bad but not intolerable, some of the shortcomings of the first entry but all around enjoyable.I love how pick up and play friendly this game is and its very familiar control wise (sans right stick of course)the camera controls are kinda tank-ish but again without that stick what are you gonna do, the overall felling of the franchise is totally intact. The psp/ps3 connectivity is awesome i am playing both simultaneously and reaping the benefits ( EG.weapons and upgrades health and combat) i am very happy that Ubisoft gave this option and hope other developers will follow suite. If you are looking for a great action game on psp i am sure this will not disappoint.

Well I purchased AC2 and that gave me a mean hankerin' for this game mainly from wanting to step back into the shoes of Altair and for the connected unlockables which are basically useless in the game. Sure they are nice looking weapons but if you already have all the final weapons you're never actually going to use any of these things. It give you a bit of coin also based on the tokens you've collected in Bloodlines, but by the time I got it I had 96% of the trophies unlocked and over 500k in Florins so the whole 8000f I get from syncing really does nothing for me. There is also no upside for the Bloodlines side of it, I was expecting at least an alternate Ezio costume or perhaps even the Armor of Altair which is unlockable in AC2, something. Oh well, it's still a pretty neat feature, I suppose even more so if you play and beat this game before starting AC2 I imagine the weapons would be much more useful that way it does however make your weapons room that much more full.

Okay a bit about the game it's self, this is what I imagine Assassin's Creed would have looked like if it were ported to PS2 and if the game developers had given any thought to the boring repetition of the original game. It is pretty impressive looking and is only second to God of War Chains of Olympus as far as PSP platforming goes, the camera controls are not as bad as everyone makes them out to be, the problem is really that the scaling surfaces are not really well thought out, in both console versions of this game you could get up almost any building by just wiggling the thumb stick in the up direction and Altair/Ezio generally find their own path. In this game however you usually get stuck and there's no way up requiring you to drop down and look for another way up which is pretty annoying. For being a game that released at $40 and is now currently retailing for $30 I would have expected it to be a bit more polished, the game glitches quite often causing Altair and often times enemies to become lost in a wall which usually leads to an instant death or possibly actually falling through the map to his demise. This gets seriously aggravating. The fights are heinously repetitive and yes they did have an MGS style intruder alert in the Third Crusade, which is the only explanation I can come up with as for why accidentally starting a fight with one guard leads to a seemingly endless swarm coming from every corner of the map. You would think this would make for a fun action experience but mostly you can just spam the throwing knife and lay them all to waste as they run up, and if you can't pull that off then you have to go through the tedious motions of countering endless and slow attacks and watching the same animations for five minutes or so. Guards also randomly spawn over and over so sometimes fights can take even longer.

The missions and game it's self are pretty fun, there are some sidequests to do if you so desire but mostly your instinct is to just hammer through the game because the sidequests usually lead to some massive endless swarm of guards and usually you're at the end of a memory black before you even realize it so why not kill the boss and just move on. The visuals are pretty decent but once again pale compared to GOW's PSP iteration the birds eye syncing operation is kinda pointless because each area is very small and pretty bland compared to the types you get in the console games which is kind of a let down.

The story does a pretty decent job of filling in the gaps in AC2, Altair writes some of the codex pages you acquire in the sequel. The voice acting, however is god awful and almost a chore to listen to. I'm at the last memory block and they have yet leave the Animus and I strongly doubt that they will. The upgrading system is nice and it's not such a pain to leave the game and do an upgrade since it pretty much sets you back exactly where you were before you exited.

Overall, this is a very decent game but in no way the best game for PSP, I would suggest only people who are huge fans and I really don't think it's worth the list price. I purchased mine used for $14 with no case or booklet but it's not like those are in anyway useful to someone familiar with a PSP or the AC series.

The game is pretty good, I agree with most of the other reviewers. The only annoying thing is that in order to play the game, you have to update to version 5.55 or later.

This game is excellent, the gameplay is not what exactly I would like for an ASSASSIN not a guy who just goes around slicing people up. Overall it was a good game the story was a bit weak but oh well that's life for you.
