Forget the console war boys , this game is just above it. If you own a XBOX go and play it and some friends place. If you own a PS3 and have not yet played this game. You are missing out on something special.
Uncharted 2 is special. It should be celebrated. Things that make it special :
Amazing storyline.
Awesome narration.
Mind-blowing action. (The level on the train engaging the helicopter should win an oscar or something).
Stunning visuals/ graphics.
Pace of the game.

For people who do not like to play video games , just sit and watch it for its story.
It's beats all the top Friday night pop-corn blockbusters put into one. You get your moneys worth. Every cent of it.
The only place where the game would take some -ve points from me would be the last level.
I would have expected a really really grand ending. Somehow the last level felt a bit soft.
Nevertheless , that would not make me dock this game any points.
It's a 10/10.

I'm not going to waste time. Just like the first Nate Drake adventure, Beautiful scenery,landscapes and awesome storyline keeps you hooked like a great movie the entire game. Dont hesitate about this not being as good or "classic" as he first,It keeps all the great things about the 1st and fine tunes the rest. Must Buy.Today

Like many reviews on this site, there are no words I can use to describe how amazing this game is. The whole experience I had with Uncharted 2 left me in complete disbelief. The graphics, storyline, characters, and gameplay are second to none. It's obvious that this game was handled with extreme care.
Let's not forget about the online multiplayer, which is the most solid third person shooter multiplayer I've ever experienced. The multiplayer is heavily addictive and balanced(balanced games are tough to find in most online games). There are various modes such as plunder, deathmatch, coop objective, etc.(there are a few more, but I can't remember them at the moment)
For once the hype around a game makes perfect sense. I approached the Uncharted series with complete skepticism, and I must say that both games blew me away. However, the second one...wow..just wow...it cannot be touched by anything else out there. Uncharted 2 is a testament to the potential, and power of the Playstation 3. Everyone should definitely keep an eye on the Playstation 3. With games like this who knows what's next for the console.

This game is absolutely amazing. The story is very good, the acting and movements are lifelike. The graphics are awesome, and it is just an overall great game. Although not necessary to understand the story of this game, I suggest playing the first Uncharted to get to be more in touch with the characters. This game is a must have for all PS3 owners, and all fanboys of other systems are truly missing out on this masterpiece.

It's time to add my voice to the chorus of reviewers talking about how spectacular Uncharted 2 is. This game does everything right. The gameplay is fantastic, the story and cut scenes are superbly well integrated into the combat sections of the game, the multiplayer is fun, and the unlockable features are actually interesting. The level of polish in this game is exceptionally high, and undoubtedly has set a new benchmark for other game developers to aspire to.
Many people have said that this game is like being in an Indiana Jones movie, and they'd be right. There's more gunplay in Uncharted than Indiana Jones, but just like in Indiana Jones movies, you travel to far flung exotic locales in search of archaeological mysteries, all the while trying to outsmart, outrun, and sometimes even outgun a villain who's after those same mysteries for some nefarious purpose. Some of the scripted events in this game are so ridiculously amazing that you'll just be staring at the screen in awe as they unfold. It's pretty remarkable that the game is as long as it is, considering how much effort the designers must have put in to make everything work just right.
The graphics in the game are superb - certainly among the very best on the PS3 so far, and probably only surpassed by very high end gaming rigs. But it's not just the technical quality of the graphics which standout: it's actually the fantastic design and animation. The places you visit are all visually stunning, and the acting (motion capture + voice acting) makes the characters believable (well, minus their uncanny ability to jump and climb) and interesting.
I have to also commend the designers for the great job they did with the unlockables system. You get access to all sorts of interesting bonuses as you play (and re-play) the game. Some of them directly affect gameplay, some are cosmetic, while others are art galleries and behind the scenes movies. It's wonderfully integrated with the PS3 trophy system as well as the multiplayer system, and other designers should really pay attention to Uncharted 2's reward system.
This game is awesome. It's one of the highest rated games on Amazon, and after playing it, I've gotta agree with the 90% of the reviewers who gave this game 5 stars. I'm eagerly waiting for Uncharted 3, and you'll probably be as well after playing this game!

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is an action/adventure game with some platforming and third-person shooting elements. It was developed by Naughty Dog and is an exclusive to the gorgeous PlayStation 3 system created by Sony.
This game is beautifully crafted piece of entertainment and is a must own for any Playstation 3 owner. This game is the game to sell thousands of systems. Every aspect of this game is beautifully crafted. The graphics are outstanding and are the most amazing graphics I have ever seen on a console game. The voice acting is second to none. The voice acting is never forced or cringe-worthy. It all flows so smoothly and is extremely natural and it is better than most animated movies I have seen. The gameplay is where Uncharted 2 really shines. It is extremely polished and very fun. I haven't experienced any framerate hiccups or glitches. The gameplay is incredibly varied and never feels repetitive or boring.
This game has a ton of content to offer for [...]. It has a wonderfully crafted single player campaign that is extremely engaging and will make you want to play through it again and again. If that wasn't enough it also has a multiplayer component. The multiplayer consists of three-player cooperative objective based missions, three-player cooperative fights much like Gears of War 2's Horde mode, but with a twist. It also has competitive multiplayer with deathmatches and objective based matches.
Naughty Dog has done such an incredible job with this game that I do not know how they will top it with Uncharted 3 (if there is one, but is there any doubt really?). As far as I'm concerned they have created the greatest game of this generation and it will be a very, very long time before any company comes close or even tops what Naughty Dog has created for us in this game.

Simply Amazing. Incredible graphics, incredible sound (with proper eq. try out PCM 5.1 or 7.1 Maximum Band, and prepare to be floored), Intelligent, funny, dramatic, FUN.... I could literally go on for hours describing Uncharted 2. The game is that good. Some naysayers say, its not groundbreaking, and it isn't in any one particular area, however when taken as a whole package, I challenge anyone to show a better game. The experience next gen consoles promised is here in very real form. If you own a PS3, this game is a must buy, pure and simple. If you don't, I feel sorry for you having missed playing one of the most well crafted games ever. Highest Recommendation.

This is the most awesomest game ever created but why do they keep having those puzzle solving parts of the game. I can't stand puzzle solving. I had to cheat on the puzzle solving aspect of the game or I would of never finished the game.

I will confess that I am not a big-time gamer anymore. I definitely used to be and consider myself pretty "good" at video games, but with the decreased time a find myself with in my mid-to-late 20s, I find I have much less time to spend playing games and have therefore lost a little interest. I mostly play sports games like Madden and Basketball games that take little focus or time. However, I decided to try out Uncharted 2...all I can say is, wow! It is basically an interactive movie, with lots of different types of tasks and interactions that keep in interesting to play while the plot unfolds. I used to love games like GTA, but I have recently found that those types of games become repetitive and boring. Uncharted 2 avoids feeling repetitive, even though you spend a lot of time trying hard to shoot the bad guys in the head. This comes mostly from the ridiculous graphics and scenes...I think this may be one of the few games that would be a lot of fun to sit back and watch someone else play. Many of the scenes are like works of art, provided you have a large high-def TV to enjoy them on! I guarantee that no matter what type of gamer you are, you will enjoy your time playing this game, even if it is just something you play through once or twice. In the world today of multiplayer obsession, it is refreshing to see a game that is just fun to sit back and enjoy!

Uncharted 2 is simply amazing! With its astonishing game play, in both campaign and multiplayer modes, to its incredible story and characters, with graphics which are simply the best of any PS3 games that are offered at this current time, Uncharted 2 is defiantly one of 2009's best as well as one of the best on the PS3 system to date. If you have a PS3 this is simply a must have!!! I would like to end this review by thanking Naughty dog for this incredible experience and to wish them the best of luck with there future games, especially Uncharted 3!!!

In order to write a review of any widget, you must examine it by pointing out the Pros and Cons of such widget and scrutinize it even further when all you have found in you research is a positive trend.
With that in mind; So, I have played the Multiplayer Beta which has been out for sometime and I thought it was pretty fun and good looking. I am now on to chapter 6 of the actual game and all I can say is "Simply Astonishing", the title to this review.
PROs:
- They have taken a simple story and converted it into something beyond belief. I am really surprised at what they have done with the story of this game, right of the bat I give it 5 star.
- I have over 15 games for PS3 (plus 30 demos), 3 games for Xbox and 5 for the Wii there is absolutely nothing out there that can measure up to the graphics of this game (5 star)
- The Control for the game are similar to the first Uncharted, but improved with move around buttons to make it your style of game play (5 star).
- And Finally the most important category of all: Fun, this chapeter is where this game trully shines. I would give it 7 stars if I could on this category. Why? I love shooters like I love action games the same way I love fighting games and although the game play may not be the same among each category, I still compare the Fun part to COD: MW. Believe it or not, Uncharted is is more fun to play, and yes they are different and I do enjoy COD a lot, Uncharted has an edge over it.
CONs: absolutely None!

From the opening scene to the end battle this game rocks. The controls are excellent, graphic's are stellar and the story moves incredibly well. The voice acting also deserves a shout out as this is something that rarely excels in games like this. If your a fan of the genre, you will not be disappointed.
