Picked up this game on pre-order, and I have no regrets. Had a hard time putting it down for the first few hours. Be warned in advance that this is not a button-mash game. The developers put a lot of time and planning into the integration of timing, strategy, and excitement. There is an endless array of moves you can learn, so you need to make your own decisions on how what style of fighting you want to focus on. Here are some of my initial thoughts after playing the game for only a few hours:

Pros:

- The career mode keeps you engaged with training and strategy

- Music is great and gets you pumped up

- Graphics are great

- Moves are realistic with a mix of function and flash (ie. superman punch)

- Innovative controls allow you to manipulate the fighter using angles and pummeling

Cons:

- Load times are long

- Online access is free with new copies of game. Second-hand buyers will pay $5 for online access

This game is a huge improvement over the predecessor. It includes many new additions in variety of strikes, ground positions, submissions, and a risk/reward sway system. The only problem I would have is that it is tough to submit the CPU, but they can submit you at will. The offline game against the AI needs some improvement, but human play is another game. This game is amazing with all these new additions put into play against a person at the same skill level as yourself. I would recommend this game to any casual MMA fan.

Simply the best fighting game out there now.

I'm a big fan of realistic games and a fan of UFC as well.

I really love the camp system. Me and my fellow team members are always sparring together.

UFC Undisputed 2010 really outdid its 2009 version with many brand new additions. It has a new tournament mode, a new title mode, improved career mode, tons of new fighting styles, techniques, stances, moves, and many new fighters including PS3 exclusives: Royce Gracie, Dan Severn, and Jens Pulver. Another PS3 exclusive is 5 great fights that are available for you to watch. The improved online play includes the addition of fight camps: where you can spar and train with camp members or challenge other camp members to fights. The gameplay is exciting but complex to learn (if you are a first-time user I suggest using the tutorial to learn at least the basics). The only problem that slows the game from achieving its full potential, is the occasional glitches that occur both during online and offline gameplay. Overall, UFC Undisputed 2010 is not only a great game for the typical UFC fan, but also a game for anyone who considers themselves as a gamer.

"This game has greatly improved, with the new add Tournament, PPV, Fight Camps, cage work, new striking and sway. The graphics are awesome, the game is more fluid and the animation is great. Its just hard to submit someone, but then again they add submission switch on certain fighters. But i give this game 10/10. Thank you for listening the UFC Undisputed Community and giving us an early demo release. Great job THQ,"

Overall, this game is a great improvement from 2009. I really enjoyed the Ultimate Fights section. I thought it was fun in 2009, but in this one they made it more elaborate with trying to recreate the fight. I am still early in the career, and find myself getting kind of lost with what to do at times. Also, I wish they would have spent a little more time on the ring girls. The graphics look amazing until you see the girls and then they look really cartoony. Other than that, no real complaints.

UFC 2010 for ps3 has potential to be the greatest MMA game ever. The only reason I say it is not the greatest game yet is because there are several bugs. It is very hard to get a fight online and the career mode has some problems, including your stats decaying too quickly, fatigue not really playing as much of a factor as it should be, and opponents getting too tough too quickly. Some of the ufc fighters also need a little tweaking but as soon as the developers get a patch update out there, and I am confident they will, this will be the best MMA game ever. Despite these current problems, I also want to address its successes. The graphics are UNBELIEVABLE, every fighter looks completely real. And the realism doesn't stop there, every fighter in the game has fighting styles and abilities that are just like the real fighters. There are also all kinds of new features like the ability to make and play your own pay per view which is so fun if get some friends to play through it and the other gameplay modes that ensure you will never get bored of this game. So all in all, I would highly recommend this game if your a fan of the UFC although would recomend you wait until they get a solid patch update out there so you can enjoy it to its fullest.

Got this game on the day of release and haven't stopped playing it. I didnt buy the last one because i had fight night at the time, this game TKO's fight night hands down. The graphics are immense, the gameplay is smooth and the fighters look great! 9/10

The motions seem more true to life. You can fight much better from the ground than in 2009. My only real criticism is that submissions seem a little too easy to get. It's a lot of fun and very addicting!

This game is very fun and addicting.

Create your own fighter and go through the career mode. Took me a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it, you will not let go of your controller. I spent many long nights playing this and everytime I go back to work, I just can not wait to go back home to knock someone out in this game.

The easy mode is a good way to get familiar with the game. Once you are decent, you might want to change the game mode because easy is well pretty much too damn easy.

Well hope you enjoy this game!

Prior I wasn't really that interested in MMA or the UFC. Pro wrestling was more my speed. However after playing the game and realizing all that goes into MMA, I had allot more respect for the sport. I know it's a game, but it does a great job in the career mode into making it feel like your preparing for a real fight. Just do a little research on how you should store your stats and how to suceed in career mode. There's allot of info that's left out of the manual. Worth the purchase.

This game is great! It is very detailed and the graphics are stunning. The amount of control you have as the fighter is amazing...it lets you control even the slightest movements. I have been very impressed with the game itself and cannot wait to get involved with the online community that is available!
