I'm an Amazon Prime member so I get special shipping! So I ordered this on 12/30/2009 at 1:00 am and paid extra for overnight shipping less than $10.00 by the way and at 2:30 pm on 12/31/2009 the fedex man handed me my package. It's freezing outside so the unit was cold so when I got it as much as I wanted to set it up and plug it in and turn it on. I just took it out of the box and set it on the coffee table I took all the contents out of their plastic bags to let them warm up to room temperature. Because I know that something that cold coming into my warm house it going to sweat and it already was sweating SO THE LAST THING YOU WOULD WANT TO DO IS PLUG IT IN! Although from reading some of the reviews on here it's sounds like some people didn't wait and short circuited their PS3 with all that condensation. Well after about 3 hours it was not sweating and was room temperature so I plugged it in and set it up. WOW! THIS IS THE GREATEST GAME CONSOLE OUT THERE! I immediately connected it to my Wireless network which was a breeze! The first thing I did was surf the web watch a couple videos on youtube. Then looking through the menu the ps3 had found my computer and was showing me that I could stream music and pictures wireless to the ps3 to my hdtv which I have my ps3 hooked up through HDMI what an awesome picture. So we had some friends over for new years and we showed them a slide show on our tv of our pics from Cancun last year. Then I downloaded Tiger Woods and played a couple games it looks just like your watching it on tv. I also have the NETFLIX disk so I entered that and we've been streaming movies it works flawless. Like the title says buy it now I'm glad I did!

the ps3 is expensive but overall worth the money. i use it for everything, for playing ps3 games, watching blu ray movies, regular movies, i even go online. the ps3 is a must have

I love it......the wireless part, able to watch 1000's of netflix titles....and the connection to the internet......wow......the blue ray disk player, and it makes my regular tv look better than my plasma!

I think the price was good, I received it in the mail fairly quick and was completely happy with my purchase. I couldn't find a system at any store cause I tried all the stores in my neighborhood, I would have had to wait at least a month before I could have got one so amazon was great, cause I got it in two days.

Was very much worth the money I spent on it. I like the browser, and built in wireless. I only have one game and no blu ray movies yet, so can't say much on that. The GT5 prologue game looks awesome.

Gotta the PS3 for my birthday. Works great. What a big time upgrade from the PS2. Looks great even on a 65 inch DLP. No problems with the order and got it real fast. I also purchased a monster HDMI for it. I would buy from Amazon again.

The Playstation 3 250gig Console is awesome! I sold my original 80gig PS3 just to buy this..This console has enough hard drive space that even the most avid gamer(Such as myself) doesn't need to worry about running outta space.

This unit is smaller,and runs more quiet than the older models.. Overall,I'm very pleased with this purchase!

The commercial is correct: it only does everything! And, it does most of it quite well. Graphics are gorgeous, operating system is stable, streaming Netflix is amazing. I am frightfully pleased.
