A must get for the college basketball fan. Sent very promptly and in a professional manner and I'm in the Caribbean.

The game is everything i thought it would be, which is great. I will recommend it to my friends.

I finally can say that EA got it right. For the longest time there hasn't been a quality NCAA hoops game. This one is in spades, a quality game. The new ESPN and CBS broadcast features stand out, as do the dynasty features. Would reccommend this to anyone in the mood to play not only a quality hoops game but a quality NCAA hoops game.

These other reviews were overly harsh. The presentation of this game is beyond what has ever been seen in a college basketball game. It is almost like you are watching a game on TV.

My review is trying to resemble what reputable gaming websites say -- about a 7 or 8 out of 10. Everyone generally agrees that the new motion offense is very cool, and I really like that addition.

In the end, it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a TV-like experience, this is the game to get. Gameplay can be challenging at times, but you gain better graphics.

I previously owned March Madness 2005 and Hoops 2K8, both for PS2. I know there are a lot of die hard 2K fans, but I really like the EA games better. In fact, I preferred MM 2005 over 2K8. I thought MM 2005 had a better "floor" angle camera which made me feel like I was in the game. 2K8 players seemed too shiny and the crowd noise bothered me as it seemed like it played in a constant loop with an annoying whistle.

That said, NCAA basketball 10 is a huge improvement over both of those games. First off, the graphics are much better, which should be a given since we're comparing PS2 vs. PS3. There are a lot of little cool features that are at least new to me since I haven't bought the EA version of the game since 2005:

-Real schedules (dynamic update required)

-Live scores and ESPN radio at the main menu. This seems to udpate several times per day.

-Real weather updates from your favorite school

-Easily download the rosters of real players names and the announcers will say SOME of the player's last names during the game

I really enjoyed the dynasty mode in MM 2005, but never got into it in 2K8. There doesn't seem to be that many improvements to the dynasty mode in 2010, but that doesn't bother me as much because I really enjoy online matches. Playing against real opponents is much more fun than playing agains the AI computer. Online games are generally fast (80% of the time), but once in awhile you'll get a choppy connection. It is fairly easy to find an opponent if you select "Play Now". Finding opponents to play in the lobbies is much more difficult. Online matches are fun too, because you get ranked compared to all other people.

The only bad part about playing online is 50% of my opponents seem to choose Kentucky, but they are pretty easy to beat if you double-team John Wall (point guard).

As other people have noted, there are some glitches. The one that I've seen the most is there is a bad camera angles that occur every once in awhile for an entire game. The only way to explain it is that the camera is not centered around the ball. For instance, when shooting a free throw, sometimes it shows the players feet, which makes no sense. This happens 1 out of every 20 games or so.

Another glitch is the crowd noise sometimes is really wrong. In a few games, the crowd booed the entire game, even when I was the home team and I was winning.

Other things that could be improved:

-There is no traveling in the game

-There are no "held / jump balls ", even though they have possession arrows

-The auto-subs needs to improve with the default settings (for online play). Michigan State will never sub during a 10-minute half during online play unless someone gets into foul trouble.

Overall, however, this game is a lot of fun and I recommend it if you're into college basketball. It's nice to have an option to not listen to Dick Vitale and choose CBS sports instead.

This is a horrible attempt at a basketball game. Yes the presentation is good, and the graphics are not too bad. The gameplay is absolutely awful. I bought it because I love college basketball and this is the only game there is, but I completely regret my purchase. The game is riduculously bad. EA needs to scrap this basketball game and take some notes from the old 2K games.

Have you ever played a game that you tried your hardest to like, but couldn't get passed the glaring flaws? Well, this is NCAA Basketball 10 and here is a list of all the things that will piss you off if you buy it:

- Players will stand out of bounce for no reason (this is fun when you try to pass to them)

- Players will run out of bounce with the ball for no reason

- Players will commit frequent backcourt violations

- During the inbounds pass, the ball will go through the players chest if your standing in from of someone

- Your unmanned player will dive out of bounce for a loose ball when it's not necessary. This usually will result in a turn over because he touches the ball last.

- There is virtually no inside game, and dribbing with a Center/Power Forward typically results in your player "stumbling" and losing possession of the ball.

- The CPU AI will shoot 3 pointers without looking at the basket (and sometimes they will make them)

- If you let the CPU Point Guard or Shooting Guard drive to the hole, and if you have other defenders in the area, it ALWAYS results in a shooting foul.

- Shooting fouls occur even when the foul is on the floor

- Unmanned players always whiff when trying to intercept a pass down low, which typically leads to the CPU dunking on you.

- CPU launches unrealistic 3 Points, get it's own rebound and scores underneath

- CPU Alley Opps are impossible to stop

- If you block the CPU's shot, they fall to the ground, and then your called for a shooting foul (Weird)

- CPU commits mysterious fouls, you hear a whistle, then it's your ball. You never know what happened.

- If you don't hold down L2 and manually pick who you're passing to, you never know where the ball is going.

- Playing Man to Man against another human player is impossible

- When shooting the ball, your player changes his shot to make it more difficult for no reason (not sure if this is something I'm doing wrong)

- You typically miss the easy shots down low and make the hard ones

- Commentary is dull and repetitive

- All the players look the same, which isn't a big deal because it's college ball

I played half a season before I just gave up. What's funny is that you only need to play 1 or 2 games to see all these problems.

This game is simply awful, I read many poor and so so reviews for this product, however, since it is the only college basketball game available this year and I am a huge fan of college basketball I purchased it. I truly regret this purchase, for the first two weeks I tried to overlook the countless glaring flaws, but I have now accepted the fact that I will never play this game again. The sole positive is this games presentation, the CBS and ESPN presentations are excellent, even though the dialog is often wrong and very repetitive that is the case with most sports games and is not that much of an issue. Where the problem lies is the control, it is dismal the players that you "control" running out of bounds back courts driving to the basket when you are trying to shoot a three pointer, the awful passing and lost dribbles, saving the ball from going out of bounds to the person you stole it from, rampant turnovers. What you do with the game pad has so little impact on what is happening on the screen it is unbearable. Double Dribble on the NES is a more realistic basketball sim than this and has better control and player movement. Avoid this like the plague, you will be better for it.

Be careful with this game. It froze on me during dynasty mode. I actually got the game replaced by Amazon and the next copy did the same thing. EA Sports actually stated that they will not release a patch to fix the problems with this game. Beware!
