I always tell my friends this is the best game I have ever bought. First the goggles are absolutely awesome,there are two view option colors, green or white, both of which give an extraordinary view at night. If you need more brightness just move the "infra-red" light switch and now you have a perfect view!!! The game totally worth it, it is expensive, I agree with that :> the goggles are not the same quality you will get for a grand or 1500, however it is collectors edition you should get something really valuable in this versions, and personally I think this is one of those items you would say it would last for ever and you will never get bored with it.

The game, specially the on-line section is... definitely something to play!

I'm not knocking the game at all. Just looking at the price for the Prestige Editions though...that makes no sense.

The GameStops and other locations that are selling it for it's retail of $149. Anything over that, isn't worth it in my opinion. Amazon might not have them, but other locations do. We are in a recession. Even if we weren't, that's gas, groceries and other.

I'll just add that the single player is a little short, but great overall experience. The special ops with a friend and multiplayer online is what makes this the best FPS to date.

ummm...the game is not out yet how would you know if it sucks?? Also how would you know if the goggles suck when you dont have them because,again, the game is not out yet..?? Your review is bogus, you are just trying to be different by saying a game that 90% of gamers are going to enjoy sucks. Its not cute, its not cool, and it doesnt make you different okay.

That night vision goggles are bad becuase you see in green it the funnest thing I have heard in along time. Duh thats the whole idea (infrared-the conversion of ambient light photons into electrons which are then amplified by a chemical and electrical process and then converted back into visible light therefore giving it the green). Mondern warfare was the best selling FPS ever, how could the newest one be bad. It can only really get better. get you facts right man. Mondern warfare 2 is going to be a bad a## game

wow as soon as i heard that this game was gona be released i started looking into the whole call of duty series, so i know own call of duty on the mac, call of duty 4 modern warfare ps3 and mac, call of duty world at war, and call of duty modern warfare 2. the game itself is simply badass. though the campaign was a little to short for my taste. the multiplayer is as cheap ever but still oh so much fun. and the night vision goggles are freaken awesome

Ordered this gift for my grandson for Christmas. Our Christmas was last weekend, and he was so surprised to receive it! He had asked for it, but thought it would be sold out. He did not play the game at my house, but DID use the night-vision goggles quite a bit. WONDERFUL.

I love it for the most part. I think it would be nice to have a very long story mode or even better 3 different story modes from different sides of the story. I think the online moves extremely fast. I would rather it be more realistic. Thats just me. Every body likes what they like. Any one who is older than 10 who doesn't know night vision is green is an idiot. I think the prestige edition was a nice option. If you don't know what you are buying don't buy it. If you don't like what you bought return it and shut up.

I picked my PRESTIGE EDITION up from gamestop at 5pm today!!!! I have played the game and used the night vision goggles and let me be the first to say. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care what anyone has said up until now because they have not used them. The goggles look very authentic and they TOTALLY WORK. If you get the chance, pick up the Prestige edition from Ebay if you have to.

I was able to get ahold of the "Hardened Edition" for PS3 about 10 hours early :). After having played only about 15 minutes I am utterly speechless. For those of us die-hard COD fans that have been waiting for this game for months...our wait is over! My friends, believe me when I tell you, that it was worth the wait. This game is visually stunning, and sounds amazing. The concept art book that came with the hardened edition is pretty cool too! Can't wait to dig in a little further and provide a more detailed review....back to the game...see y'all online!

First of all night vision is supposed to be in green that's the way it's designed to work, I haven't had the pleasure of trying these out yet because mine comes TOMORROW :)!! but keep in mind that the game alone costs about $50 so you're basically paying $100 for the goggles so don't set your standards too high and then complain about it later, because well you get what you pay for and $100 for night vision goggles that's pretty cheap and these are designed to be a collector's item more than anything(I don't think you'll see any navy seals taking these on a mission anytime soon). I'm personally giving this game 5 stars right now because I think it's going to be one of the best games of the year but who knows that might change once i actually play it but as of now I'm sticking with it.

My dad got me this wonderful game for christmas, and now I review it. The grafics are amazing, it has no lag, and i dont know what else to say, cant stop playing it. the multiplayer and campagin both rock.
