This game really lives up to the hype, both in gameplay and just plain fun. If you are expecting COD4, you may be disappointed because it's a bit different. But, if you want to have a great time fighting the enemy, blowing stuff up, destroying buildings & vehicles, then you will love Battlefield Bad Company. The game starts with you being assigned to B Company, with 3 other rejects. The dialogue throughout the game is pretty amusing at times, and you find you actually like the characters. I really enjoyed being able to grab any vehicle and drive it, and then destruction value is nothing short of awesome. You have to love a game that allows you to blowup just about anything. Overall, if you are looking for a serious war style game, Bad Company may not be it, but if you just want to have an amazingly good time, then this title is simply a must have.

I've been waiting a long time for this game and was hooked the second I played the demo. I'm now about six hours into the real thing and its fantastic! All the reviews I've read so far are spot on so I'm not going to go into too much depth. If you like first person shooters this is the game for you, buy it you won't be let down!

I played BFBC2 recently and that game was fantastic, so I thought that the first one should be good too. It started out pretty good but the more I played the more irritating it became.

1. You can only carry one gun, You can carry a rocket launcher and a machine gun but not 2 machine guns.

2. Don't even think about stealth, as soon as you knife the first enemy, every enemy within 200 yards knows your exact location and are 100% accurate.

3. You can drive nearly all vehicles but apparently you're the only one who knows how to drive, switch to the machine gun seat and everybody else just sits in the vehicle.

4. If you make it to your destination in one piece (which is usually on the other side of the map) and die get ready to travel the entire map again.

I like the second one but the first is just to frustrating to be any fun.

Bad Company is turning out to be quite a surprise for me. I was hooked from the moment I popped it into my PS3. Great graphics, sound design, physics, and environments are but some of the highlights of this gem. The dialogue and cut scenes are pretty good. I enjoy watching the guys play rock paper scissors in the background. The weapons seem realistic and are quite satisfying. I do have two gripes about the game though. First, it has crashed on me 2 or 3 times already. Second, why is it that the tanks always seem to find me and kill me but not my buddies? That's a minor complaint because overall the game is great. It's a worthy, albeit quirky, addition to the Battlefield series.

Pros. GREAT GRAPHICS! seems like I'm really there.

Blow stuff up. it's fun to shoot a grenade into a building and there's a giant hole.

Unlimited health needles(just like health pack)

Whenever you run it feels like your really running.

Lots more.

Cons.Slight difficulty aiming(not a big deal)

Can't fully blow up a building.

There's not a good variety of vehicles.

Overall this is a really good game. Worth the money.

I had a lot of fun playing the online multiplayer demo, so with its modest price tag, I bought it online and thought I would have a lot more fun. Something in the controls just doesn't feel as sharp as it does in the Call of Duty series, of which I am a huge fan. The sound in this game is great, so if you have some nice speakers, it would be fun just to take them "for a spin" with this game. Overall, another option if you're looking for a first person shooter, but definitely not as good as the Call of Duty series.

This game is great. I play it almost everyday. The campain mode is sweet and interesting. I could say so many good things about this game. The online mutiplayer is awesome, with lots of vehicles like helicopters, hummers, buggies, boats, and tanks you will not get bored. With mutiple classes of soldiers like recon(sniper),support(medic, mechanic), specialist(close combat and sabotage),assault(all around soldier),and demolition(anti vehicle and close combat), i guarantee you will find your place on the battlefield. A simple objective like either attacting or defending the crates of gold makes for a fun and challenging game. There are plenty of maps to choose from as well, and they are huge. The graphics are an 8 out of 10. Bottom line is, this game will not dissapoint. It really does make call of duty look like dooty.

Whats not to love about this game? It has a fun single player campaign thats got some laughs to it, the multiplayer is awesome and addicting plus the destruction that you can cause is great! I would recommend this game to everyone!

This game is all fun, for the PC player can be hard get used to control it with the PS3 controller but thats a problem with all the FPS games in consoles. The game have great graphics, all the time have action and now is cheap compare to another FPS game for PS3.

I am not going to review the good things about this game, since most people already did. Rather i am going to nit pick things i feel is not right or should of been done better.

I can't believe this game does not support 1080i or 1080p at all!!! This really blows because my monitor that i use for gaming does not support native 720p resolutions, everything gets scaled and stuff gets cut off. It is really annoying. PLus a game this good looking should support a higher video resolution. This is just disappointing. I would much rather have better visuals than better sound. Also one thing is they did not make use of the D-pad for. The D-pad could of been used for team call outs. It sucks when this team oriented game has no way of telling your buddies that there is someone coming up behind them. They can also make the d-pad the positions for the different seats in a tank or Humvee, etc. like the Left arrow goes automatically to the main gunner and the right goes automatically to the machine gunner. One example is when you are the only one driving the Humvee and you to quickly switch between driver and gunner, you have to just cycle through the 2 other car seats just to get to one another.

Another annoying this is (i think its only in the PS3 due to the PSN) there is no choice of choosing a specific map you want to play. It just randomly puts you in a server usually playing all the maps in a cycle.

I don't know if this game supports the keyboard for chat or not, probably not since the xbox does not support a keyboard natively which is also essential in team communication.

I have been gaming for almost 2 years now and I consider myself a casual gamer. I was never an FPS fan until this showed up. This game is the first FPS that I actually finished (although on easy). I thoroughly enjoyed this game throughout. The story and characters are very funny. Haggard is hilarious. Graphics are amazing. But the best part is the destroyability of the surroundings. Depending on what gun/weapon you are using... you can take down small vehicles, trees, buildings, water tanks... almost everything you see in this game. You can even use your knife to tear apart wired and wooden fences. It does not sound much fun until you actually do it. In every level, after I was done shooting all the enemies, I'd roam around the village and blow the $hit off of every structure in sight.

Here are few things I liked:

- Environment destroyability

- Weapons (it has a huge number guns/rifles available, all based on real weapons... I never realized that there were that many)

- Sound (each gun makes a distinct sound, explosions sound very loud and real, vehicle sounds are also very realistic)

- Graphics (one of the best)

- Story, voice acting, dialogues

- Online gameplay (although I did not play much to comment about it, having this option is never bad)

I do not have any complaints from this game. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I totally recommend this game to anyone. It is worth the money.

Battlefield: Bad Company is a fun game to play. Right away I noticed the game has probably the best sounds of combat I have ever heard in a game. From the sounds of weapons firing to the sounds of armored vehicles running, the game is great to listen to. The sounds of mortar shells coming down and exploding around you is just unbelievable. When I walk through forests and fields, I can actually hear the sounds of birds chirping, dogs barking, and cows mooing.

The graphics in the game are just great too. I love looking at the water in streams and rivers. It looks very real. The forests and villages in this Eastern European setting are really beautiful to look at in this game.

I like how you can jump in different vehicles to drive around in and there is a car radio in the vehicle to listen to while you are driving around. There are several different radio stations to listen to. I love the music in this game.

The AI in this game is pretty smart. When enemy soldiers see me, they immediately run and hide behind something. They have try to out flank me and they have tried to sneaked behind me a few times. I love the part where a enemy soldier runs into a building to hide from you and you can use your weapon to blow a good size hole into a building to waste the enemy soldier. It is also so much fun to just take your weapon and shoot down all the trees that enemy soldiers are hiding behind. You can do so much damage to the terrain with your weapons in this game.

The maps to this game are huge. The maps are ten times bigger than the maps to Call of Duty 4. I love the sandbox settings to this game where you can go any where on the maps.

I highly recommend getting this game. Battlefield: Bad Company is a fun game to play and the game has a lot of replay value to it.

Like a lot of gamers, I have paid well over $100 for Activision games. I wanted to try Bad Company but was not confident that it would come up to the standards of other games. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. Bad Company is a well organized and programmed piece of shooter gaming software. The graphics are high quality and the story line is consistent to modern combat practice. The online gaming experience was in some ways better than COD4/5 as the size of the combat theaters was much larger and more topographical. In my opinion, this purchase was money well spent, and much less expensive in comparison to other games.

This is an awesome game. I can't say too much about the single-player since I've only ventured onto multiplayer; but multiplayer is so much fun. It's just a really fun game, where anything can happen. The graphics are very nice and you almost feel like you are there. Buy this game if you have a PS3 OR 360!

This is a great game, full of innovation and creativity. As a FPS, it works really well. Killzone 2's gameplay works in a very similar fashion. However, it's true strengths are in the fantastic story, voice acting, dialogue, and gameplay. If you've never played it, think of it as a game that combines Uncharted's fun story and dialogue, Killzone 2's great gameplay, and a revolutionary physics system that lets you destroy everything in the environment from garbage bins to trees and buildings. The price seems too good to be true, but there you have it. Grab this one up for cheap and count yourself lucky.
