This works very well. My nephew received it at christmas time and loves it 12/24/2009. Its now been 6 weeks. still going strong.
Works well only had it a week so far but seems great right now. the blue led on wireless link is a nice touch with my skin, but could be annoying to some, kinda like the red lights on the controller, but i dont but them. It has a rubber-like feel to it and stays in place better than the plastic controllers. Overall a great ps2 wireless controller.
I bought this for my PC, and it works right out of the box with my usb to PS2 controller adapter. I use the controller mainly for Batman: AA and Street Fighter IV for PC. I have had no problems with it at all, and the battery life is way longer than the 30 hrs reported by the packaging ( I think that has to do with the fact that I do not play with the vibration on). It is a steal compared to buying an xBox 360 controller for a PC. Do yourself a favor and get a adapter and this controller. There is a little bit of .dll work to get them to work on newer games, but it's not that hard and well worth the money you save. I will always use the PS controller form over xbox 360!
The controller works from across the living room so I don't see any issues with distance. No delay on the buttons, triggers, or controls so it even works for controller sensitive games. I was worried about comfort but this is pretty close to Dual shock, only slightly larger. It takes 3x NiMH AAA so the controller's got some heft, and outlasts the Dual Shock 3 controller which I think is kind of nice.
-1 Star for ultra bright reciever
My only complaint is the Blue LED on the receiver is too bright. It's really distracting so in the beginning I have to cover it with a game case. And when it's blinking it's difficult not be annoyed by it so I ended up spraying the whole thing with flat black. Kind of stupid to put such bright LEDs near an entertainment system. Think McFly!
This control is really good. The only thing about it is that the vibration could be a bit stronger. But its ok for a battery operated device, I guess. Great control and sensibility in every game I own.

I dont know what other people are talking about, this thing is just as good, if not better than the Logitech Cordless Action wireless controller. I have owned 3 of the logitech ones throughout the years of gaming on the PS2 (about 8). After a year or so of moderate use, the plastic peice that pops the buttons back ot will wear out, and the button will stick. I happened to 2 of mine, and after the second one went down I bought one of these Katana ones. I liked it so much I bought another one and now I keep my third logitech one that still works as a backup. The receiver actually fits into the slim, the logitech ones hang over the bottom so your slim wont lay flat, unless you put in on the edge of your table (not a good idea). Also the pad itself is more comfortable than the logitech, its just like the dual shock, just a bit bigger. And the best thing is that this will work with my controller converters, so I can use it with the Gamecube, PC, and XBox. The logitech wouldnt work, so previously I had to use my corded dual shock if I wanted to use my gamepad converters.
The only downsides are that it uses 3 AAA batteries, which is a pain cause I like to use rechargable ones, and most AAA NiMHs come in packs of 4 or 8. So it creates a hotdog/hotdog bun situation. Also after about a 1 to 1 1/2 years of use the paint on my silver one is wearing off (its' white underneath) and the rubbery black coating on the black one is peeling off. But they still work great and I could care less what they look like. For these 2 resons I have to give this 4 stars.
In the end, even if the buttons eventually wear out on these like they do on the logitech, it's still a better product and I would definately buy another Katana one to replace it.
At $18 with shipping, this PS2 controller is a good value. Wal-Mart charges $25 and its not wireless.
I really like this controller. Its just a little bigger than the original but it doesnt really have any effect on my playing. THe vibrations are not as high as the original but it is still very good 4 a wireless.
This is the closest thing available to a wireless dualshock available. I liked the feel of it immediately and it worked well... for about a week. Now a couple of the buttons don't respond well.
I know it that it looks dumb but if you want a wireless PS2 controller, get the logitech one. It's just better.
I didn't particularly like this controller upon receiving it. It felt uncomfortable and bulky in my hand, the controls were slightly unresponsive, and the buttons took extra effort to depress compared to the standard or Logitech Ps2 controllers. From a tactile perspective, it just felt poor and muddled.
That being said, it did have a durable feel, and I felt that it could have been a nice, robust wireless controller for Role-playing games and other games that put fewer demands on responsiveness. Until today, I'd have given this controller 3 stars.
However, just today, it broke on me. The d-pad started becoming either unresponsive, or kept driving my character in an unintended direction. This is a complete deal-breaker for me as the controller only experienced light use.
I could go on, but ultimately, my recommendation is simply not to buy this controller. It may seem like a more robust alternative to the logitech controller, but the logitech controller is simply better.
I ordered this product Christmas night! I got a package 12/31/08. Well its just the standard controller not wireless! They don't give you any info on how to exchange the item. I have emailed them twice and have not got any kind of response. Its now 1/10/09. I'm starting to get anger! So don't order from Hubbagames they don't have any customer service!
Product would not work. The two(2) controls would not link together. Tried on two(2) game console.
