This is a review for the PS2 Guitar Hero 5 bundle.
I'm not as picky about my music as some reviewers. I found all of the tracks to be enjoyable. So the game rates a 5.
The guitar issued with World Tour was a step in the right direction. The touchpad, star-power button, and extended whammy and strum bars made the guitar more pleasant to play.
The guitar issued with this bundle is essentially the same, but the rubberized buttons are a nice touch. And you don't have to worry about this one being obsolete because it's also compatible with the PS3.
purchased earlier versions for my daughter.she really enjoys playing the guitar hero games.kids will have hours of fun and she enjoys hearing some of the music i grew up on.
i'm 62 years old and i have been playing stringed instruments, since 1962...when " guitar hero " came out, i had always wanted to give it a try, which i did, on " guitar hero 5 "...i have to say, that it is a great game ! i'm following the " career choice ", and it is far more fun, than me actually playing a guitar - so, i give it 5 stars, and for the low price and the fun " guitar hero " provides, it is well worth the price!!! have some real fun and join the people, that have already purchased the unit - btw, it is nice to see that the mixes of " oldie " groups, increases the fun...
peace,

beware-this disc is not readable by all ps2 units and neither the game manufacturer or ninetendo will make a comprehensive list of the ps2 model serial numbers that will or won't play these games.also, knowing there is a problem, why isn't there some warning out there to prevent the disappointment of gaming fans?we had to purchase a brand new ps2 to use this game!too expensive---but i wanted my 10-year old to enjoy what he picked to be his birthday present. again--please beware!!
