If you like fun war games and are tired of fighting the Germans all the time this game is great. I think most people forget there was just as much if not more fighting in the Pacific. Do not listen to all those game geeks the graphics are great for PS2. The best part is it is accurate in its history. It is also rated Teen which means kids can play it not just big kids if you know what I mean. I would like to see the game companies allow parents to turn the language off on some of these Mature games. This is a great Christmas gift to get kids who are 10 and above. Have fun.

The real Call of Duty World at War is a great game but on the PS2, it removed alot of stuff. First of all, there are no Zombies. That's the most fun part of the game. The graphics are tuned down, you can't knife people, and the loading is slower than a snail with a limp. On the other consoles though, the game is great! I never stop playing it. The only downside is that they could have made the campaign longer. It is the most realistic war game I ever played. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes war games.

I purchased this game for my 14 year old son and he plays frequently. The scores given were from my son. He says the game is alot of fun, very entertaining and challenging. Not a game you can beat in one day. The graphics a also very good. He says only kids 13 and older should play because of the level of violence.

This is a really really fun game. Great graphics, good variety of missions and easy to learn how to play. This will provide you hours of fun.

Also, there is a way to turn off the language and make it considerably less violent (elminate splattering blood), which is great if you have kids around the house.

I'm not a huge gamer, but this game is worth the money (particularly if you buy it used!)

Call to Duty....WW2 and all its glitz and Glory....from the cold snow covered streets of France to the steaming Jungles of the Japanese held islands....its an Action packed run from beginning to end.

I bought this for my 14 year old for Christmas. He has been playing it and loves it. He likes the graphics and the new situations in the game. He is the "expert" and he gives it a BIG THUMBS UP!

My son had already played this game at my brothers, and loved it so we bought it. Was still high in cost being used, found out later I could have got it cheaper at ebay, but oh well. He still wanted it for Christmas and had to get it.

Nothing better than re-living some of the best moments in similar scenarios with great movie history. This game give you the impact of Brother hood in Vietnam.

This was a Christmas gift for our 16 year old son. He loves the game the only reason he gives a 4 star for overall is he said they took features off the game that were previously on the third one.

This call of duty world at war is the best. The graphics are great and so is the game play. This game though is quite short, I beat it within a couple of days. Also for people like me who are not able to play Mature games, is game a perfect choice seeming how it is just like the Mature rated version of World at war but changed into teen.

It took me at least 4 looong nights to play the various scenarios two times around... has very though parts, specially at Shuri Castle.

A lot of Fun, very good, fluid motion characters, amazing sound.

Wish they would make the Modern warfare version of this game for PS2!

For a game released in 2008 the graphics are rather disappointing. The graphics look like they are from 2002, but don't let that dissuade you from playing the game. It is still fun. The graphics improve when there are a lot of buildings rather than trees ect,. The game play style is like Call of Duty 3 as far as health is concerned, but without the hand to hand combat modes and fuse setting of bombs. It sounds like one of the characters were voiced by Keifer Sutherland. I don't know if I should have spent the $35.00 on it like I did, but if you find it used for $20.00 or less it would be a good buy. I would rate it at 75%.

Call of Duty makes a return to the PS2 with Call of Duty: World at War Final Fronts; a stripped down conversion of the great World War II FPS. Sadly, Final Fronts doesn't do nearly enough to distinguish itself from older Call of Duty games, and hardly bears any resemblance at all to the other versions of World at War. Any of the gameplay innovations to come into the series from last year's Call of Duty 4 and the other versions of World at War are absent here, leaving this PS2 version playing more like an expansion pack to the PS2 versions of Call of Duty 2 and 3. Combine that with the muddy graphics engine and some just plain brain-dead enemy AI, and Final Fronts just ends up being a complete bore. I know the PS2 is getting on in age, but it is much more capable of performing better than what this game suggests. If you're still holding on to your PS2 than this watered down version of World at War is worth a look, but if you're a big time Call of Duty fan, the time to upgrade to a more powerful console is definitely now.
