I'm a writer in the VG industry. I do stuff like Genesis/NES/MAME a couple hours a week. This is easily the best controller I've ever used. Great for light playing.

i don't like giving bad reviews but in this case, it's a public service announcement. bought two of these controllers; first one lasted 48hrs and the second lasted a little over a week. in both cases, the floating d-pad broke off which after careful inspection is held by a cheap plastic hinge and there's no way it can be fixed. save your hard earned money and look elsewhere. when the controller worked for that very short period of time, it was very good but the quality is WAY below madcatz. don't buy the madcatz fightpad either, it won't last more than a few weeks. just get an arcade stick and swap out the parts with japanese sanwa denshi.
