I have played guild wars for 19 months. In that ammount of time have spent over 6 thousand hours between only two characters. If that isnt enough to state just how utterly addictive this game is i dont know what will. There is a very diverse population that play 10+ hours a day.
I have played with poeple between the ages of 12-60+. When i have children i would also allow them to play it even at a young age despite some of the themes in the game like drinking alchohol. There is no gore no nudity no language and no blood. I spent 9 years playing diablo 2 till a friend of mine showed me guild wars i have been an addict ever since.
this game i would be more than happy to rate with 5 stars.
If there is anyone who is also looking for a guild or has
any question about the game or if you need help. feel free to pm me
in game my main character is Ihsahn Ashtera
I was never the type to play video games. Recently a friend talked me into playing Guild Wars on a trial. I fell in love with it. It gives you the opportunity to meet new people, take on tasks to strenthen your character, and learn new skills. I am throughly enjoying it. My grandsons and nephew think that it is terrific that I play and it gives us something else that we have in common.
Guild Wars Trilogy

This is a cool online game instant gratification. No monthly charges to play. In game if you die you only lose a little health - 10percent each death up to -60. No costly armor repairs or replacements required. Also Nightfall in this Trilogy gives you Hero's which you can Build into some awesome Missions and Quest helper's so you can game Solo. You can also get help with game player builds from [...]
This is an amazing game. I enjoy being able to play the majority of the game on my own, but there are times when you need to ask other "real people" to join your party. At first I was a little shy to do so, though I soon realized there are quite a few players that can teach you new tricks in getting around or ways of doing battle. Now I am hooked on the whole thing and look forward to playing whenever I can. I'm still on the first game (Prophecies) and know that I will enjoy playing Factions and Nightfall just as much. The graphics continue to amaze me and the storyline is awesome. I highly recommend this game to people who enjoy Sim type RPGs...you won't be disappointed. And you might make a few new friends along the way!
This is my first foray into online gaming. I was VERY nervous! But what fun! Many people my age (52) playing and everyone was more than willing to help out a newbie. I can see this may quickly become addictive. I recommend this for all ages. Starts off slow enough to take plenty of time learning the ropes with fairly easy initial rewards. Still not confident enough to join with other players, but I'm getting there and looking forward to it. For some thoughts on other RPGs/online see my review of Sacred II.
This would be the best deal for its buck. The combination purchased from this trilogy will provide thousands of minutes of playtime if you are into this genre. If you have never played Guild Wars before, I would advise you to try the demo, and if you like it 'enough' then buy the trilogy.
It has been around forever, I started 2 years back myself. For the money, this game will defiantly entertain. I recommend buying GW right up until 8 months before the GW2 release date is posted. For now, GW2 release date is unknown, and 8 months is plenty of time to build a serious toon and get your moneys worth in play time. Don't hesitate.
Oh, if you are in it to PvP don't bother, rank discrimination is terrible, and people are just way too salty to help you.
I only recommend you play for the PvE experience. Hardly anyone discriminates based on rank in PvE, and most everyone seems willing to help another out.
I still give this a 5 out of 5
Hi,
Great game and I can't stop playing it. Wish I had more time to delve into it.
Server time is always up and running. Party system works and people are very nice in game!
Highly recommend it if you are new to the MMORPG or just curious about it.
Worth the money!

I love this game. Its got every thing that is needed in a game for one super saver price. One of the best selling points is that it cost no monthly fees. If you like playing with people all around the world and/or keeping in contact with friends who've traveled around the world, this game is for you! No friends? Then buy it for the gaming goodness. Don't like games? Then buy it to keep your kids quiet.
I'll speak for the millions of fans that play and love this game when I say that buying this GW Trilogy set should be a no brainer. All three of these games overlap and allow your characters to explore huge continents of amazingly rendered and artistically jaw dropping environments. The journey of building your character from a mere citizen of Tyria to a powerful, skilled hero, along with the welcoming online community of players that make up the denizens of the Guild Wars universe makes this one of the richest game experiences out there. Bundle it all up for under $49 dollars, not to mention the fact that this is a fully fledged MMORPG with no monthly payment, and you've got a hands down must have for you or anybody on your gift list :)
Guilds Wars is actually my first MMO, and I found it to be enjoyable. I'm glad I found the Trilogy on Amazon, rather than going through the website for the game. Saved me time and money.
It was a birthday gift for my daughter and she loves it. Her and her husband both enjoy playing this game. Sometimes my handsome grandson helps them too!
This game is great fun, meet new people, journey to distant lands that seem familiar yet alien.
Recomend this game for anyone tired of paying monthly fee's for MMORPG's and just looking to have doing the same thing you can in other MMORPG's and more.
I'll start off by saying first that Guild Wars trilogy is the best value of any game out there, period. How can I say that? Simple, It is three incredible and gigantic games in one. When you first start to play Guild Wars you feel like a little kid trying to learn a new language. You know nothing, and there is so much to learn. However, Guild Wars does well at teaching you the basics so you can at least get going and killing monsters and completing missions. Although at times missions are hard to start [when you are not sure where to go to get the next mission] every mission moves you and your character forward in the world. However, the true value of this game is two-fold. First: it contains two other campaigns. When I 1st started with Prophecies I got bored very quickly because your character levels up very slowly. So I moved over to factions which moves very quickly and loved it. Then I tried Nightfall and loved that too. If I had just Prophecies I would be disappointed but with all three you get a chance to create many different kinds of characters [each campaigns gives you a slightly different look] as well as different ways of playing the game. Second, the interaction with thousands of online players and guilds [groups of people to play together] means there are always people to go on missions with or trade with or join together for glory with.
What I love most about this game though is the deep strategy of it. Each profession has many skills and spells that effect each other. The higher your skill is the more powerful your spell. But these spells/skill sets [called builds] allows you almost infinite flexibility with how you want to play this game. Do you want to run in and hack people, or stand back and blow them to bits with your fire? That is just the two most basic, but the beauty of Guild Wars is that there are dozens of other strategies based on hundreds of spells that can be combined with devastating effects and people are constantly coming up with new combinations that you can download and try! Or work to come up with your own unique combination of spells and skills. This coupled with three campaigns (as well as a fourth in Eye of the North) makes for endless hours of re-playability for a very small price. If you want the most gameplay for your money then BUY THIS GAME!!!!
This is by far one of the best mmo's ever put out.
Rich and in depth game play, great graphics, good music and sound .
In game eventsand side game to keep it lively.
I would definatly recomend this game to anyone age 8 and up.
