I enjoyed the game and I played it to the end of the storyline, but I can still play it just to have fun.
I have played a few space adventure games like this, where there is a story, and you are a freelancer: basically taking job after job just to get filthy rich and to get the sickest ship in the universe. I would like to say, this has some of the best voice acting I have seen for a space adventure game (other than Mass Effect). I would like to also say the graphics are very sweet, but the problems within the game are a little evident. For being so graphically better then the game Freelancer, I would have thought their programming better, and would have made better longer missions that take skill to execute, not brute force. I also hated that their was no WAN or LAN capabilities.
Next thing we know, I also get disappointed when the story ends, because that is when the fun just melts to zero.
all in all, its a pretty boring game, no life, just NPC's, though I got to say CDV is an awesome game company: if you really like 2D RTS, go American Conquest: Biggest battles ever, and really intense action.
I found this listed when I was looking for strategy type games. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was really a shooter with a story line.
It has a good story line, above average voice acting, and good graphics, but understand that first and foremost it's a shooter, no matter what tags or comments other people might make. If you like that style of game, you'll probably enjoy this one. If you're looking for a conventional strategy game, or even a RTS type, keep looking.
This space game has all the features that I admire in a space game. Terrific action and strategy, easy to learn, great graphics, and very large universe to explore.
