I don't have this game yet, but it's looking great. Just as good as the PS2's Dead or Alive 2. I hope that DOA3 has a storyline that is worth having. I don't like fighting games that don't have storylines on why they are fighting. Anyway, the graphics are so good in this game that if I didn't know any better, I'd say that these characters were either real people or characterized after real people. The XBOX is using the power that they have for this next-gen console, unlike they are doing for some games that they have coming out. I am looking forward to this game. I've heard that you can smash your opponents through walls...I hope so!!! I hope that this review has helped you on the choosing for your games on the XBOX...

I strongly feel this is the best fighting game out to date. Fighting games first off are not for everyone, as stated earliar, all you do is mass buttons until the other guy falls down or you do. However, it is a blast, and very very enjoyable. The game is very short however, so if you dont have friends who come over regularly, dont plan on this to be a very long single player.
The greatest thing about this game to me is not the graphics, but the realistic fighting. There is not jumping about and doing a dumb circle flip every single time you jump... Come on, how old is that? Would you see that in a real fight? someone just doing flips every time they jumped? ANd how many people honestly fight like frogs? jumping up and down? Few from my knowledge atleast.. This game is not "realistic" for you take far more punishment than a human body could take, but it is far far far more realistic than any fighting game i have ever played. Each characters fighting styles are based on real life fighting styles, and feature hundered + moves, and excellent animation on each.. No "ok, player 1 kicks, player 2 hits block then throw.. uh oh, since player 1 kick is lower than what the block animation is supposed to animate, 'teleport' player 1's leg into player 2's hands" no no no, none of that. If the kick of a burly character is lower than say a nimble female fighter, there is no teleportation to make the animation correct, it just actually does the correct animation needed. Player 2 lowers his stance or actually reaches down to grab that lower kick. Oh, and the graphics rock.
