Graphics and Gameplay are two main things fans need in a game. 2K10 does not lack in either area while Live 10 lacks in graphics. After playing 2K10 a few times you realize that playing in the post is quite difficult and harder to score but I feel that is the reality of the NBA itself. It's not suppose to be easy so I think 2K10 nailed that in the coffin with the CPU's defensive gameplay. The offensive gameplay is pretty much the same as last year but I can't complain because I enjoyed last year's gameplay. As many of others have said the presentation is amazing and that's where Live 10 is no competition. Amazing Game! I Recommend it for NBA gamers.

I'd like to say the game is an improvement, but I feel that something is missing. The AI is much tougher and the controls have changed a bit taking some time to get used to.
Positives
+ Graphics are nice
+ Tough AI
+ New My Player mode
+ Animation is fluid
+ Being able to download draft prospects from other players around the world in association mode.
Negatives
- Not the most up to date rosters. I'm a fan of the OKC Thunder and Serge Ibaka is no where to be seen. There is no player model for Taylor Griffin on Phoenix sons just basic default looking character.
- On Association mode the ranomly generated draft prospects all look to much the same.
- There is really not enough player detail in the player creation to make any one created player look too much different from another player.

2K Sports has managed to keep ahead of the competition for another year with their release of NBA 2K10. The development team has been listening to their fans; The menu selection screens have been made easier to navigate, the graphics tuned up to a surreal level, and the features have been streamlined and tweaked to provide the best basketball simulation on any console. Period.
This game is the best basketball simulation out there, but it isn't perfect. Sometimes the framerate dips a bit in the post, the defensive system can occasionally have players crabwalking twenty feet from the ball, and the reward system in the new my player mode can be frustrating. Still, even with a couple of minor gripes, it's the best. 2K needed to leave something to tweak for 2K11 after all.

"Alright game, but many glitches. I would recommend nba live 10 because of its far better gameplay."
