Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox 360)
Guitar Hero World Tour (Xbox 360) Reviews
Wonderful Seller! It was received in perfect condition and very timely, thanks for the speedy delivery, i couldnt believe it came so fasst because it was in the middle of the christmas holidays.
I recieved the game both on time and in good condition. The game itself is very fun too. If you like this one and in to heavy metallish music I also recommend looking into Guitar Hero Metallica.
As a long-time Guitar Hero fan who played my fingers raw on GH3 and lately has been reluctantly pulled into Rock Band, I had high hopes for Guitar Hero World Tour. And while World Tour has its share of frustrations (bad placement of the shared star power bars, not to mention impossibly picky vocals scoring, and poor drumset durability...), it succeeds in pulling together a fun and varied setlist, as well as adding some gameplay improvements as well - for example, the new empty note adds a welcome bit of challenge to playing bass.
Overall, I think World Tour's greatest achievement is that the new features and instruments makes the game more interesting and accessible to beginners and casual players, as well as extending the experience for more seasoned players.
As far as the Guitar Hero vs. Rock Band dilemma goes, personally I find guitar/bass much more fun and with more interesting parts on Guitar Hero (naturally) whereas Rock Band provides a better drum vocals experience. Both are good games that are worth owning, though buyers should beware that there is a significant overlap in songs between GHWT and RB2.
