With the 250GB Hard Drive you can install all your games onto the hard drive along with all your marketplace content and still have room left over. I have about 12 games installed and almost 100 videos downloaded from Xbox live and I still have about 140GB of space left. As this is an "aftermarket" drive some people are worried about getting banned or something, but I've been using this for 4 weeks now without and problems, so no worries on that mate. At a $99 this 250GB drive is still cheaper than the 120GB version that Microsoft sells, $35 cheaper in fact but double the size! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting more space on there Xbox 360.

What's not to like about this item...
Price:
It's about the same as a used 120GB drive from GameStop. Yea I know still more then it should be but if you don't want to spend the time finding the correct HDD, buying it and then modding it to format correctly this purchase is a no brainer. It even has a new case so you don't need to crack open your current one.
Space:
Even with the format loss, thanks MS, this drive is still the biggest you can get on the 360. Plenty of storage for game installs, video downloads, arcade games, and anything else you want to load on it. If you're going to spend the money why not get the biggest at a lower price.
Once again for those in the cheap seats... NO the drive will not report 250GB of free space when you attach it to your 360. This is not the drive's fault and not the sellers. Thank MS for the way it needs to be formatted. I will not remove a star for something that is not the product/sellers fault.
Finally let me throw out a quick comment on the dreaded ban threat. I've not had nor do I think I ever will have an issue with Live because of this drive. I've been using aftermarket items on my 360 since the beginning and never had an issue. Tell me what's so different from using an aftermarket controller/headset vs. this aftermarket drive. Heck it does have all the stickers and such on the drive case and everything comes from china nowadays.

This is a must have if you care about your system. Not only do you get plenty of space for arcade games and other add-ons, but installing full games is pretty much essential to maintaining minimal wear and tear on your drive. This also reduces the loading as well.! I have yet to find this anywhere else, the official HHD only go up to 120gigs at the moment and thats for almost twice the price of this one. I was concerned that an after market harddrive would leave me at risk getting banned from live, but so far that doesnt seem to be the case.
