Lego Batman is fun and clever. It's great for almost all ages. Because you can play with both Batman and Robin at once, even my 4 year old can play because he can just "follow" along and get a little help with the puzzles if needed. My 7 year old loves it, and even my husband is enjoying playing. The "violence" is only little lego pieces flying around. The graphics are great! We love it. Highly recommended.

My 8 yr old son got this for Christmas and immediately plunged into the game. He has Lego Star Wars & Lego Indiana Jones for Wii, so it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that he would like the game as well - since he has spent hours on SW & Indy. This game is a little more difficult to play through than the other games, but nothing that's impossible. Granted my son is a pretty advanced gamer for his age, but I only had to help him figure out what to do on one are of one level (he's not done yet, so there might be more). You have to do alot of changing characters in order to open doors, fly across gaps, lift cars, smash windows, etc, but for us this ADDED to the game since it wasn't your typical plug and chug, linear game which SW & Indy often is. My one major drawback is that the lighting in the batcave is really bad. While I agree that the batcave should be dark, you shouldn't be falling off the walkways every 5 sec because you can't see what you are walking on. This is obviously a minor irritation, but considering how much time you spend here, it's an ever present one. But then I'm an adult - my son doesn't seem to mind at all.

I just recently purchased a Wii, so I received this game for Christmas--over a year after the game's release. I knew about the Lego games, but I didn't realize I was missing out until after playing this one! I am really enjoying this game, and I would recommend it wholeheartedly as a 2-player game.
I play this with my roommate, and this has already provided several hours of entertainment. Since the progress says we are about 35% finished, I guess there will be many hours left! Going around and busting Legos is just fun and, since I am very novice with video games, the fact that you can never totally die is a good thing. (You do lose "coins" but you reappear right away with full power.)
The puzzles are very good at times (and they can be frustrating as well) so you can't play this totally without thinking. From that perspective, I would probably recommend this for little kids only if they were playing with an adult--unless they don't care about the game and just want to break stuff! Unlocking new players with different powers is very fun, and I have to say that the villains are more fun to play with than the heroes. (Poison Ivy and Clayface are my favorites.)
I really like the super hero theme, and the Lego version clearly adds the fun dimension to the game. Recommended for fans of Batman, Legos and amusing Wii games!
