I love this game! I am an avid watcher of UFC and I am also trained in MMA techniques. I love playing this game. Not all the moves are easy to learn but well worth learning. I would recommmend this game to anyone who might be interested.

Great graphics. Players look real. Moves are top notch. Check out some other reviews and you'll see that the only people that don't really like it are the ones that can't play. If you take time to learn the moves you'll enjoy this game.

I was real close to buying this blindly as it looked hot and I wanted to expand my non-existent collection of PS3 games. As it turned out the local movie store had a copy to rent and Im happy I did. Here's why.
Undisputed will have your adrenaline going for the first couple days but after day 3 when you turn the difficulty up you'll find that no matter what combination of buttons you smash, the opponent will almost always steamroll you. For example, I built my Career fighter to be a strong stand up and not so great submission. Now whenever I fight he always gets taken down to the mat some how and absolutely punished. Even after building up submission and ground grapple defences he still becomes a punching bag. There is absolutely zero chance of reversing the computer when on the mat yet they reverse you with relative ease (even those who are primarily stand up fighters). There are also far too many flash knock outs.
Career mode was the biggest let down. In an era where most role playing games allow you to create a character from a sand box of sliders and color options, Undisputed allows only the selection of several pre-designed heads and body types. Some sliders allow for tinkering after the fact but the overall look stays the same. There were times when I fought someone who looked just like me with a slightly different beard. Unexceptable on THQ's part especially when confronted by the unfinished career mode. Its fun at first but the game play becomes mind numbingly boring after the first 6 or 7 bouts. Also the career options are very limited and training your fighter consists of just clicking options from a pull down menu which devotes that entire week to only 1 skill (very annoying especially if you have low stamina and want to micro manage your fighter). After winning several fights your fighter will start to get sponsored and offered interviews etc. The sponsors logo's can be placed on your fighters shorts which is fun at first but the antiquated menu's become nauseating to navigate after changing tattoo's or logo's a few times. Coupled with slow load times and the games obsessive compulsive disorder of saving, you get to the point where it feels like work to customize the figher any furhter.
In typical THQ fashion the graphics are pretty breathe taking and ragdoll physics are realistic but the overall feel of the game is just far too linear and simplified. This is worth a 5 day rental but nothing else.
