I've always appreciated the quality of Sony products from their televisions to their gaming consoles. The controller is classic Playstation style with the solid design and feel of Sony. This is the standard for gaming controls.
The Dualshock 3 is an excellent replacement/additional controller for the included (on older models) PS3's SIXAXIS controller. And the rumble feature makes PS2 games feel more like they did on the old system, but doesn't add significant weight. I'm still a big fan of Sony controllers and have no regrets that I didn't have to try another brand. The battery charge seems to last just as long as on my old controller, et cetera; no surprises with this unit -- it's solid.
This is a sturdy controller made by Sony, and is the official controller. It is bluetooth, syncs instantly, and works with all games. Not all games will be dualshock vibration compatible, but the controller works with all games on the PS3.
When playing vibration intensive games like Call of Duty World at War, you will feel how great and powerful the vibration is. The constant gunfire will vibrate till your hands get numb.
If you are looking to get another PS3 controller, get the Sony made one. It's trusted, and guaranteed to work.
