Me and my 8 and 12 year old have been playing the MX vs. ATV series and have enjoyed them all. We ordered despite the bad user reviews and can happily say that it EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS by a large margin. By far the best MX game to date. Game play is awesome, the tracks are great (sand tracks are AWESOME with the deformation) and the graphics are really well done.
WORD OF CAUTION - It takes a while to get used to the new rider Reflex. Don't get frustrated, just keep riding. When we first got it, I got frustrated and went back to Untamed and very quickly realized just how much BETTER the Reflex controls are and the game in general terms. Plan on getting out of shape occasionally; use the reflex rarely and ease in small amounts as you begin to feel comfortable. The new rider Reflex really adds depth of skill and is the best advancement for this series.
One negative point that should be changed - the bot riders take you out far too often and in outright crazy ways (e.g. across the rider's paths at the gate drop, etc.) at times. Crash simulations could have been made more realistic and gets outright annoying at times. Rainbow... hope to see an update soon!
Anyone who enjoys Motocross or have enjoyed MX vs. ATV in the past will LOVE this game once adjusted to the reflex controls. Great update Rainbow... thanks!!!

The Graphics, The Gameplay is outstanding. If you arnt Good at racing games this might not be for you. Dont let the bad review tell you anything, I really think it is alot of fun, one of the Funniest acually but opinions are opinions :), rent it first see if you like it..

It required a little "get used to it first" - When I first try it, specially for the ATV's the control was too sensitive and I could not make 100 meters without flipping over, but after a few days I got used to it and now it is the only game I play. controlling the MX is more easy and a little more fun because of the diversity of freestyle.
The game is really fun and the graphics awesome, I really do not understand the bad ratings that I am reading on amazon because the game worth the $50 I paid when it just came out.
I would definitely recommend this to any MX. ATV or Buggy riders, you will enjoy it.
Do not only refer to the rating here, go and try it to your nearest game store and see for your self.
