As a boxing fan and fight night round game addicted, I really recommend this version of the game, it's by far the best. EA really did it this time, the gameplay is awesome! A MUST-HAVE FOR SPORTS FANS.
Im writing this review mainly to give another perspective to the guy who rated it 1 star bc he cant get used to the controls.
The controls in this game take some getting used to but theyre great. and by take some getting used to I mean it took me a total of 2 rounds to get the hang of it its not bad at all. So for all the button mashers just suck it up or youll be missing a good playing experience.
The graphics are amazing and the actual fighting, which should be the most important thing, is extremely fun. Sound is good and commentators can get kind of repetitive but are better than the previous games.
The only drawback so far is that some of the training games are pretty tough but thats not a huge deal.
Overall a great game for fight night fans, button mashers and control stick users alike.
This is the most real life boxing game that I've ever played. I'm a big boxing fan and the development of this game really exceeds my expectation. The graphics is above excellent!! I have played Round 3 on my PSP and enjoyed the controls on it and I must say that this game has better controls on a PS3. I adjusted for a time but did enjoyed so much when I'm used to it. I highly recommend this game for boxing fans out there! Now I can see Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight even before it happens next year..
