This Game rocks. It is along the lines of God of War. Dont get me wrong, nothing can really beat GOW as of yet. But this game is fun. It took me about 15 hours of game play to beat it on hard. I am not in no way a hard corps gamer but I am average. Game has a great fun factor due to the way you fight the goons. I find trying to find all of the hidden objects within the game just as fun. The extra content is a great add on as well. If I had to purchase the game over however I would buy the regular game. The plastic bat a rang is not really worth the money. Plus the extra add on with it is not really worth it either. There is already 3 free add ons available on the PS3 network at the time of me writing this.
This game is worth buying. Hope this helps anyone looking at this. (It is open for a Sequel)

When you open this package, there are a few items that are great and not so great.
-The Amazon exclusive bonus comic "The Road to Arkham" was a great touch, like icing on a cake.
-The outer plastic sleeve/box is very sturdy.
-The batarang box is very cool looking and is semi-functional; you can put your junk in it and that's pretty much it.
-The batarang is just a scratched up (effects to make it look "used by the Batman") piece of plastic on a stand, which is also made of plastic.
-The downloadable content is great, adding a few hours of artificial replay value.
-The leather Arkham Journal is actually very nicely made, especially in comparison to the batarang.
-The Bonus disc, in my opinion, doesn't have enough content.
-The game is a gem, once you get used to the button controls it's the best Batman game you could ask for. The Challenge mode keeps you playing for a while after completing the campaign, but the Story mode is the bread and butter. The story is fun to play through, even though the generic henchmen all look and behave the same way. It is definitely a game that you should keep on your shelf for a while.

This game is quite entertaining. I actually felt more like Batman than I have with any other Batman-related video game...and I had fun doing it. As far as the collector's edition goes, the only cool thing, I feel, is a psychiatric journal of some of the inmates psych reviews done by an in-game character. It's a very nice insight into the story, atmosphere, and minds of some of the characters in the Batman universe. The collector's edition is a bit overpriced for a plastic Batarang, but the game is well worth the money!
