This game is very fun for a person that likes to put together cute outfits. You get a order from your customer. If they like what you've put together they will get hearts around them and go to the dressing room. First you start out at this store called Grace's shop and when you the gamer are doing great master Dominic (the store owner for Grace's shop) will send you off to own your own store with a assistant Rennee. And you can participate in fashion contests. And on and off and on fashion idol Rococoo comes and talks to you about her social life and fashion. And later on in the game you will design a outfit for a model for a maginzene. And thats about how far into the game iv'e gotten to.

I bought this game about a month ago, and have not played another DS game since. I am 51 years old, and I love this game. I usually play hidden object, word and some time management games. One of the things I like most about this game is that you don't have time limits except for the contests. there are lots of combinations to put together and a surprising large number of different customers. There are two customers who show up frequently asking for the same thing every time, but that's pretty much it for downsides to this game. If you have played other fashion type games like Fashion solitaire or any of the Jo Jo's fashion show games, you will like this. I think this is my favorite DS game ever!

This game is absolutely the most addicting game I've ever played! I feel like, if given the opportunity, I could play it 24/7, which makes me hate it as much as I love it...eek! I thought since it was a DS game that the graphics wouldn't be very crisp to show off the clothing but they are fantastic! There are so many styles and fun labels with which to stock your store. AND there's so much you can do: styling your character (of course!; clothing, hair and make-up), creating flyers, dressing store mannequins, entering styling contests, buying merchandise (which is constantly updated with new colors and styles) to stock your store (there's a little strategy to it), getting new hair styles for your character, and buying fun colors of make-up! The game follows the actual calendar and follows the seasons so there's always something to do...it's never-ending. There is also a wireless feature that allows you to visit other players' stores and purchase clothing plus you can download featured styles for your wardrobe. I just downloaded some Charlotte Ronson pieces!

I'm an absolute slave to fashion and am in my 30s...probably much older than regular players but I travel a lot (hence the purchase of a DS) so this game is going to be a SAVIOR when I am delayed at the airport or elsewhere. Although I have to admit, I played it for a ridiculous amount of time on my couch this weekend...but, my excuse is that I was snowed in! :-)

I'm so impressed with this game, I'm at a loss for words. Kind of. This is my first comment/review about a game because this game truly deserves the praise. I'm a 39 year old female and I love this game! I am so not the average person who would play this but hey, my daughter has an IPod now and I cannot put her DS down! I have played ALL of the similar games but this one is the best! I don't want it to end! I am sort of "making it last" so to speak. You get awesome clothes, great makeup, awesome hairstyles and you get to join contests all the while helping customers get "great looks". You can dress mannequins and customers come in and buy them. So much color, music...just beautiful! Please please let me know if any of you know a game like this one, I've played Fashion Designer New York and Fashion Designer World Tour and liked them but man, this one takes the cake! I am truly impressed! Forgive me if I've bored anyone because again, this was my first review! Please let me know if you know any other great games like this one be it makeup or hair...anything like this one will do!

This game is so much fun. It's great putting together outfits but it's also fun running your own store and finding outfits for customers. There are also contests and when you reach a high level you get to design clothes too. It's so much fun I bought a second copy so I could play with my best friend and we could shop in each other's stores. Awesome

Style Savvy is the best fashion game ever. In the beggining you meet Renee and Grace. Then not long after that you meet Dominic the store's owner. You later in the game have your own store. This game is so much fun there's just one problem on Sundays when you purchase items for your store you have to wait a day for them to arrive. I would suggest that any one bitten with the fashion bug purchase this game.

As a fashion blogger with a love for all things fashion related, I decided to give this game a try.

The game was surprisingly a lot of fun. Once you open your own shop, you are able to pick a store layout, pick the music, and go to the buyer's center to pick up new items to stock. I think my favorite part was dressing my character up. I was constantly changing her clothes, putting highlights in her hair, and changing her makeup. Although I really liked the game, I wish there had been more stuff to do. Godfrey was constantly coming into the shop seemingly hinted that my character spend time with the boss, Dominic. However, it was never an option to do so. [Otherwise maybe Dominic and I could have have gone out on a hot date. ;)] I did get to attend a movie premiere with someone though.

The game was incredibly easy. It's not hard to pick out items that you think a customer would like. Because the game was rather easy, it only took a few days to beat it. Any time I would get a star, I would go right over to the contest area and enter the next contest. I won every single contest I did. I never lost won which led me to wonder if it was possible to lose? I suppose it is if you create some outfit that has nothing to do with the theme.

Overall I loved the game and would definitely recommend checking it out if you're interested in fashion. The only real disadvantage is that the game does not last long. And for me, I lost interest once I had beaten it.

AWESOME! My daughter and I both got this game for Christmas. We are addicted to it. Basically, you are trying to build a successful fashion boutique. You buy clothes and accessories from different manufactures, put together outfits for customers based on their needs/requirements. You also get to dress you self up. You can buy makeup and different hair styles. There is also a contest you enter for unique rare items to win. We just love it. If you like fashion, dress-up, etc, this game is for you.

I pre-ordered this game because I love fashion and shopping for myself as well as others. I began playing it the night that I received it and I have literally spent hours at a time playing this game. It is so much fun to play. You begin by working as a sales associate under a manager at a shop. You then begin to assist customers with their specific needs. Sometimes they will just come in to browse, need a specific item, want you to make a suggestion or even require a complete ensemble. After proving yourself as an indemand fashionista you will get the option to run your own shop. You can chose what your shop looks like, the type of music is played (which I agree with others to say it is lame music), create looks on manequins for your shop window, visit the warehouse to buy garments that you want to add to your stock of merchandise to sell and even enter contests. Everything that you buy to add to your shop stock is also available in your own closet to wear. You can change your clothes and also visit the salon or cosmetic store to change your look. This game is rated E for everyone but I don't really see that young kids would have any interest or appreciation in playing this game. It would more suite teenage and up. You have to use reasoning skills like paying attention to the type and style of clothes the customer has on as well as what amount they allow for their spending budget to be able to pick out something that they are going to like and will purchase. I am in my 30's and sometimes they don't even like what I pick out. I love this game and I would highly recommend it to anyone that has an interest in style and fashion.

Had a ball with this game; It is NOT time-restrained like Jojo's Fashion Show or any of the other ones where you have to hurry up to piece your outfit together (really annoying, in my opinion). Spent hours on the game. Would be fun for anyone who likes fashion; there is definitely a large selection of clothing pieces. Customizing your character is fun, the shopping is fun, the contest is fun--- I beat the main storyline of the game and am still playing it. But it definitely kept my attention at full for hours and hours. Best fashion game I've ever played. I'd like a sequel! Already! Or expansion for the story line with additional fashions and features!

My 10 year old daughter received this game for Christmas. She was having so much fun playing this game. I watched her for a while and then tried it myself. Oh my gosh!! This game is so fun! I have been playing it pretty much daily since Christmas. I have not found myself wanting to go shopping after playing---kind of takes the place of real shopping without the real $$$ expense. If you like browsing and conquering stores, you will like this game. You earn money for your store and can then go and buy more items for your store. This game is worth every penny!!

When I purchased the DSI as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old Granddaughter I also wanted to give her a couple games. I reviewed and debated and finally settled on Style Savy. This was a total hit! She is the perfect age and she is having a ton of fun helping customers find the items they want, going on buying trips, etc. Her favorite game so far!
