This is my second DSI and it was promptly traded off to my granddaughter, it seems she always gets my new stuff and gives me back her old stuff. This is an upgraded one with a camera that she gets more use out of than I do. It does much more than the DS, however I don't need the upgrades. I love the system as an aging woman I play these type of games to keep my brains from turning to mush.

After searching for a DSi everywhere, I found this to be the cheapest place to get a NEW (excellent) DSi, even when adding the shipping costs. It arrived to Puerto Rico just in time for my niece's Bday and my niece loved it!!

I bought two of these for my kids. One replaced an aging DS (original), the other replaced a 1.5 year old DS Lite (but i had to ge them for both). The DSi has features that are an improvement over the DS Lite. I was afraid that this was a waste, but the cameras have a lot of neat features to go along with them. The game sharing features are pretty cool. One game cartridge and two people with DSi's can play against/with each other.

The screens are large and are, by far, the brightest I've ever seean on a handheld game. Angle viewing approaches 180 deg. They are very impressive. SD card slot, so it can be used as an mp3 player as well. Camera is low enough resolution not to get them in trouble (if you know what I mean).

It doesn't play GBA games anymore, so my kids are holding on to their old systems as well. Nintendo continues to top itself.

I got my DSi when I traded in my DSlite. So, considering that I paid well under $100, I am very happy with it. I like the built in sound and photo manipulators. The kids and I have had a blast with them. The larger screen doesn't make a huge difference but it does look really nice. I was really sold by the downloadable content, browser(though not used much), cameras and the sd slot. Awesome features. I also like the improved volume control as it was very hard to fine tune the volume on my DS lite. I think its a real shame that they didn't include a GBA slot on this one, though it clearly wasn't a deal breaker. The only other negative is that I'm not crazy about the matte finish. That's simply a matter of taste, however. If they had left the GBA slot intact I would have given the DSi the fifth star.

ok, it is AWSOME!!!!!!!!2 cameras, u can hit the power button and go back to the main menu without turning it off, u can change games without turing off,10 dif lenses that go with the cams,an awsome matte finish, an sd card slot, and free internet. how could you not like the all new, all awsome........ This is a great portable game console, and my son loves it. The camera and sound recorder are nice features, as kids can have a lot of fun with them, and not always be locked into playing games. This is much better than the PSP that I had, and also is preferred to playing games available on the iPod Touch. Cheers.

I am really not a big fan of the GBA so not having a slot for GBA games really doesn't bother me. The DSI was very easy to set up. I spent the first couple hours messing with the camera and voice recording features.

The internet is a good new feature, just don't expect alot from it. Still if you want sports and news updates and don't care for vids it's a good thing to have. Or maybe if you are stuck on an RPG and need a walkthrough. It's good for that.

The DSI also comes with a promo 1000 points. Not many things to buy on in the shop right now though. I looked online and in other countries they have a flipbook game you can download which looks pretty fun. Not in the US yet though. I'm sure they will add more content. You have 1000 points to save for that.

I think I played about 6 hours on the default brightness setting.

this is a great system to own, both for kids and adults. There are plenty of adult friendly games and applications for it and you can upload pictures you take with it straight to facebook. This is probably, out of all of the purchases I've made in the last 12 months (and that adds up to quite a lot) the best purchase I've made by far. I would buy it again, in fact, I'm planning to buy a few more of these in different colors for other family members.
